As an alternative, after much deliberation, the hotel employee, who did not really apologize, but was always mumbling something under her breath, suggested! Attention! stay in another hotel! That is, I pay for the room in advance, I arrive, and they tell me "the room is busy, you are going to another hotel"! As a result, we were settled in two different rooms (we had a company of three people and we planned to live in one room). I set the condition that in this case, let me return 50% of what I paid. For some reason, the hotel employee decided that she could bargain with me in this situation and said that she would only make a 30% discount. I didn’t have the strength to swear, because I was driving from Kyiv and we agreed on 30%. After an hour of negotiations.
When I checked out, I asked the reception for confirmation that they had returned 30% to me, they gave me a check on which the amount was less than 30% and said that the hotel employee with whom I agreed, and who, of course, was not on shift and of course it was impossible to get through to her, she promised a discount, I quote: "almost 30%"! Have you ever seen a promotion or discount "almost"? I told about what agreements I actually had with this employee, and they answer me "somewhere was it written down what the employee promised you? " That is, I still needed a receipt not to take?
I did not want to be there anymore and left, saying that I would wait for a call from them about the amount of the refund.
An hour later, I got a call, sort of like a hotel manager, wildly apologizing for such an unacceptable situation and promising to sort everything out.
It's been 5 days since then, I got back "almost 30%" and of course no one called back.
I did not think that this could happen in a hotel that positions itself as a premium. And in any other hotel it would be unacceptable.
The room was booked the day before arrival without prepayment.
The hotel is very well located. On the one hand, close to the train station (about 20 on foot, and less than 10 minutes by taxi or public transport, such as tram line 10). On the other hand, if you leave the hotel and walk through a picturesque park, then in 7-10 minutes you will be in the city center.
Free parking is provided for those arriving by car.
The settlement went quickly. Payment for accommodation - upon arrival. You can pay by card.
An electronic card is issued as a key to the room.
The "Classic King Room" is generally consistent with the photos on the hotel's website. Only it doesn’t look so fresh anymore: scratched furniture, battered plumbing.
Medium size, comfortable, well thought out layout.
Noise isolation leaves much to be desired: you can hear everything that happens in the hotel corridor. No noise from neighboring rooms
Large bed with comfortable mattress.
Good lighting. You can either turn on the main chandelier or use bedside lamps.
It is convenient that the switches for the main chandelier are both at the entrance to the room and near the bed.
There are more than three free outlets.
LCD TV with a diagonal of approximately 26 inches with a good set of channels: the main Ukrainian and satellite, including English, French, German, Polish, Russian. The control panel is convenient.
Wi-Fi in the room is good, with a stable signal, you can watch movies online.
The air conditioning works well but is noisy.
There is a safe and about 10 clothes hangers in the closet.
There is a minibar with chilled drinks and snacks. Prices are quite high.
As a compliment, the hotel offers a bottle of 0.5 liters of still water.
The bathroom is small, comfortable, with a bathtub.
The main lighting is dim. An additional lamp near the mirror helps a lot. It is convenient that there is a mirror with the effect of increasing reflection.
Plumbing is not very new, but in working order.
From bath accessories: three towels, bathrobe, slippers, shampoo, shower gel, soap, cap, sewing kit
The hair dryer is old and bulky. It looks like it could fall apart at any moment. But it works well.
The breakfast is quite varied: cold cuts of meat and cheese, vegetables, salads, sausages, bacon (optimally done and very tasty), scrambled eggs, several types of side dishes, cereals, muesli, pastries, desserts, juices, water, tea, coffee and coffee drinks, fruits , berries.
There is a separate table with dishes of Ukrainian cuisine.
Impressions from the stay are good.
If you make a small cosmetic repair and update the furniture a little, then the comfort for guests will be maximum.
Absolutely fresh repair, everything is tasteful and high quality. True, it is absolutely faceless - it cannot be distinguished from other Ukrainian 4 *, built or reconstructed recently.
The room has air conditioning (it also works for heating), large plasma, mini bar, there is a safe. Bathrobes, slippers, shoeshine accessories, each guest - 0.5 liters of water. Wireless internet works great.
The bathroom has a hair dryer, a cosmetic mirror, a set of cosmetics (good quality, replenished daily).
Parking for hotel guests is free of charge, under the very windows of the hotel.
"Dnister" stands right in front of a wonderful park, all the sights are within a 5-7 minute walk.
The staff is perfectly trained.
The breakfasts are excellent, with a large selection of hot dishes, a lot of pastries, fruits.
The hotel has several comfortable conference rooms (in fact, that's why we stayed here).
Of the inconveniences - the need to use the card in elevators and at the entrance to the floor corridors.
