The water is 150 meters from the house, supposedly the cleanest. In fact, you won’t want to drink this even boiled. And then you have to pump it from the well, as our ancestors did. This is in our civilized times! Then these buckets are carried to the house and there is nothing to use it. No utensils will be provided. Bedding too. When I first entered the house, I was stupefied: two beds and a table, so old that you can’t find them even at my grandmother’s. Everything looked like in the barracks. The temperature in the room is the same as outside. We were somewhat unlucky with the weather (or with the house), at night I pulled on all the things that I had brought. I wanted to dress everything at once, my own and my neighbor, or fall asleep in an embrace with a teapot. Naturally, I had to sleep during the day, when it became warmer outside. When the weather changed, to hot, we languished from stuffiness. And they ran to the beach, where, due to the circumstances, it was often possible to catch people diligently soaping themselves, washing their hair right in the Desna. After 3 days, I was ready to follow their example. As for the positive in all this, it’s iodized water in the river, sandy the beach and the fact that you can just walk along the river. Approximately to the middle you can go without problems, only the current is fast. How further, I don’t know, I didn’t go in. Excellent hydromassage comes out. On the beach and at the recreation center in general, they rest mainly with children. Another plus is the presence of gas and a refrigerator, though not big. And another nuance: do not turn the tap on the gas cylinder, it does not close. You sleep like on a barrel of gunpowder.
And you can’t calmly cook a barbecue: they don’t allow you to make a fire on the ground. I had to go outside the territory of the base in order to cook a barbecue. Some bullying!!!
And finally, many thanks to the chairman of the base for the fact that it is impossible to park a car next to the house. I had to drive away 200 meters, out of sight. While at the neighboring base under each house there were cars of vacationers.
