We were unpleasantly surprised by the quality of service at this base. The room is dirty, everything is dusty. The bathroom was washed somehow, a broken shower cabin, a broken shower head holder, no soap and toilet paper - take it wherever you want. Water according to a schedule understandable only to staff. There is no hot water, from the word "absolutely", it disappeared by night and cold - until some "uncle Vasya" was disturbed, who ran to turn on the relay at the well, it did not appear. There was a burned out light bulb in the kitchen that no one bothered to change. And all this for 950 UAH/day for a double standard. The metro administration needs to change the director of the base, which, apparently, is mentally stuck somewhere in the 80s, or at least change the pricing policy. I'm used to getting a normal service with appropriate payment, and not listening to the administration's excuses in the soviet style: "It's like that with us. Why don't you like it ?! "

Wonderful vacation!! ! Arranged - everything! Food is beyond praise, well-groomed territory, a new playground and adult simulators, a large beach. We were a little upset by the very old sinks in the house, and they didn’t give out basins (at least to rinse your feet or wash them), but these are such trifles compared to the air, the Desna and a good company! A big thank you to all the staff!.

We have been resting at the base for 2 years in a row, because good rooms and a small but well-groomed territory, its own beach, a small river near the shore. Nice playground BUT! disgusting food ; -( The first week I ate in the canteen, then I just started cooking myself ; -(((Many complained of stomach problems.

And we will return the money to you, minus something there... And, as they explained to us, this is a constant practice at the base So come in from the night ; -))) and with your food - then it will be the best vacation in the Kiev region : -)

The recreation center "Metro" is located in the village of Letki, Brovarsky district, Kiev region. Every summer I have at least a little rest at the recreation center "Metro" and, believe me, I know the maximum about it that anyone in my place could know!
The recreation center "Metro" is located in the village of Letki, Brovarsky district, Kiev region.
Two rivers flow in the village of Letki: Desna and Lyubich, on the banks of which there are about 13 different recreation centers.
The base "Metro" is located on the banks of the Desna River.
Immediately outside the territory of the base there is a picturesque meadow with a small lake.
I adore Letki for awesome air and stars. . .
Let me introduce you to the base in just a few points:
1) At the recreation center "Metro" the following rooms for accommodation:
- up to 4.2-room apartments in cottages (with private facilities (kitchen, washbasin, toilet));
- a new 4-storey building with 2-room suites (with amenities: toilet, bathroom with shower (hot water twice a day));
- an old 3-storey building with single rooms and amenities (kitchen, washbasin, toilet) for several rooms.
2) The recreation center "Metro" was and is the best among the usual bases, perhaps even the whole of Ukraine: these are far from smelly houses on chicken legs : ))).
3) Today the base is equipped for recreation. The base has:
- own, fenced (partly protected) territory;
- own uninterrupted water supply;
- dining room with 3 meals a day;
- a first-aid post with a physical room;
- private beach on the Desna river;
- a large playground;
- tennis/volleyball court;
- a lot of beautiful, well-groomed alleys, benches, flowerbeds, meadows, gazebos...
. . . Interruptions, perhaps, happen with electricity - however, this is the fault of the district.
4) Previously, only employees of the Kiev Metro with their families rested at the base.
By this (2008) year, most of the rooms have been given for "export", that is, preference is given to "foreign" vacationers, since they are charged an unrealistic sky-high price for the rest (from 2500 to 8000 UAH for 2 weeks with 3 meals a day) , while metro employees pay from 800 UAH. up to 2000 UAH for the same period under the same conditions).
. . . It was a story about where and how you can spend a pleasant 2-week vacation, without moving too far from Kyiv, for only 1.5 thousand bucks. . .
The decision is yours. . . : )
