What was my surprise, or rather disappointment from what I saw is difficult to put into words.
It turns out that the base for 8-10 years already has a new director (more precisely, a deriktrisa), "thanks to" which the base every year becomes more neglected and deader (we traveled with a child for 2 years in a row this year we decided to go to another base located nearby).
Cons b / o "Meridian"
1. Territory overgrown with dense thickets + after dark there is no lighting throughout the base. Now imagine going to the toilet at night... I think everything is clear.
2. The beach of the base has not seen new sand for at least 5 years! And everything would be fine, only because the beach is located just below the base itself, the flow of water from the entire base after the rain flows into the river through the beach, thereby washing out the sand. The result - over the course of more than one year, on the beach in a certain place, a chute of considerable size was formed, the entire beach was mostly overgrown with grass, as, in principle, a reservoir overgrown with algae.
3. Rent of boats/catamarans 20 UAH per hour. (prices of last year) at what the boats are killed and leave much to be desired.
4. Shower 20 UAH/person by appointment and only on certain days. BUT even if you sign up, there is no guarantee that you will get there!! ! Last year I signed up with my husband, but because we didn’t get the required number of people who wanted to, we were denied this pleasure (like it makes no sense to heat water for the two of us, how !!! ), as a result, we made a shower from a neighboring house as vacationers and thereby resolved this issue (by the way, very many vacationers build showers near their houses).
5. Sports and playgrounds leave much to be desired, in a word, killed to the point of impossibility.
6. Toilets are just a separate issue, there are only 2 of them on a fairly large territory of the base, and everything else is cleaned 1 sometimes 2 times a day, and everything else, the drain system does not work in the toilets. Now you can imagine this picture with rare cleaning and no drain (I apologize for the detailed description).
7. And of course, one of the important factors is the lack of redecoration of the houses!!!
Pros:
1. The presence of a base near the base itself with a large assortment of goods, both grocery and industrial.
2. For those who do not want to cook, there is a cafe-bar where you can eat with the whole family (I cooked myself, but I heard from reviews that they cook not badly).
3. And of course, the wonderful air and nature in these parts, as well as excellent fishing.
Bottom line: this year the price is 70 UAH / day / person, as in my opinion, given the general picture of this base, it is very expensive, despite the fact that at other neighboring bases 40-55 UAH / day / person. It is a pity that recently, even before the pain, the beloved base "dies before our eyes" ((((

The paths are always clean and on the playground there are ordinary swings and a slide, but there is one. We always walk there. In the evening, the company - if the bases are full - of course, someone will make noise nearby, the fishermen will get up and go out early in the morning, the children will scream - it can be for anyone. My children grew up at this base, every year we go several times - the rest is excellent, you can book a certain house when you already know which one is good. And if together with the company - in general, everything is always wonderful. . . Not Turkey, of course, and not even Berdyansk - the usual base in the forest with fishing....

What we saw in them cannot be conveyed to you: This is a wreck, in which there is dirt, dampness and stench. Pants under mattresses. We cleaned for half a day. There is a forest on the territory of the base, it’s good, but everything is heavily overgrown, it’s not realistic to let the child go, because the grass is full of noise, sour cucumbers, etc. There are 2 toilets on the territory, but they are at great distances, they promised us a shower every other day, but we got we are in it once a week and then with a scandal, for 12 UAH. per person. The director said that it was an ideal place to relax with children, but in fact, in the bar, the music yells until 3 am, and then the whole contingent of drunkards climb the base until the morning and bawl. And in the morning they burp all over the base. I apologize for such direct clarifications, boiled. The beach is not bad, and the cafes cook not badly, but you need to order half an hour in advance. In short, we came from a vacation with sick children. We went around all the bases and realized that Meredian is the worst, and the prices for such a vacation are not the cheapest.
