The harsh events of 2014 forced many to look for new places for children to improve their health. "Krymnash", the war in Berdyansk and Mariupol. The coasts of Kherson, Nikolaev and Odessa regions remain. Hit of Nikolayevshchina - Koblevo season - 2014 begins with a creak. Back in March, the new governor personally took up the preparation of the recreation area for the summer, but, alas, there are no results...

There is nothing new in these notes for the inhabitants of Nikolaev. I tried to describe Koblevo for newcomers to the resort - something like a memo for a vacationer.

BRIEFLY ABOUT KOBLEVO.

Approximately equidistant from Odessa and Nikolaev. Classic beach holiday. Sandy sloping beach. Warm shallow sea. Remains of a pine forest. About fifty different hotels, recreation centers and boarding houses. There is no sanatorium treatment. There is no spa. There is no diving. There are no Turkish-Egyptian temptations. Unofficially, the resort is divided into two parts - "Moldovan" (east, closer to the estuary) and "Ukrainian".

Many hotels start service in May, but regular minibuses from Nikolaev to recreation centers start working from June 1. And will end on August 31st. Travel 42 hryvnia per person, departure from Nikolaev from the Bus Station "by accumulation". A little over an hour on the road.

You can leave Koblevo by appointment, paying in advance the full cost of the place. At the same time, there are no points of sale in the resort yet, so crowds of tourists rush along the dusty road to the bus station in a pine forest, losing precious "rest" time. Some naive people are just waiting "when the minibus comes, and I'll get hooked. " They won't sit down. Drivers are severe and adamant, standing (thank the traffic police) do not take.

There is a local bus from the Aquapark to the Zarya b / o and back, but it runs extremely rarely. Spending money on a taxi in a five-kilometer recreation area is somehow stupid. Cycle rickshaws - evening entertainment for the "very tired" from the rest.

They are not here. Traces of asphalt disappear at the beginning of the Ukrainian part of the resort. Next - mind-blowing gullies, so nasty that minibuses collect an additional 5 UAH. for the desire to get to «Zari» (vostochniy okoem of the resort). For the final station of minibuses officially count b / o "Chernomorets". There are also few sidewalks. The Moldavian part of the resort is lucky - there is asphalt. But at the height of the season, the Moldovan part of the resort turns into a chaotic anthill of trucks with provisions, tents with souvenirs, cars with tourists and nimble (I want to live! ) pedestrians.

INFORMATION.

There are travel agencies that select the tour. But Koblevo is not Botswana, so it’s enough to surf the Internet in the evening, and you yourself will choose a great option.

There are several sites in Koblevo where you can choose a hotel. Booking - directly, without intermediaries and all sorts of misunderstandings. Almost everywhere - without prepayment, but in the season many are reinsured.

Alas, many bases either do not place their information on these sites in principle, or are proud of their own sites. I don't know if the hotel owners thought about the fact that the search for a site implies that the seeker has minimal knowledge about the search object. And how a resident of Kiev, Sumy or Ternopil will find hotels "Meliorator", "Orbita", "Svyazist", "Elysium", etc. , if he can find out about their existence only on the evening Koblevsky promenade.

The resort itself is sorely lacking signs for visitors. Beginners lose time looking for the right hotel, bus stop, shop and ATM.

ACCOMMODATION.

There is Wikimapia, where you can understand the geography of the resort and look for a more comfortable place. Some hotels are lost in dusty pine forests, so if you dream of night swimming - you are not here. From the water park (northern part of the resort) to the sea on foot 12 minutes maximum. In Koblevo, you can spend the night in a bungalow (a panel house ten meters from the surf, basically without amenities), or stay in an elite local apartment with a swimming pool and a buffet.

When booking a room, do not hesitate to clarify everything: in some hotels, the pool is paid separately, the rental of a sun lounger “on the private beach” is paid separately, the rental of a TV or refrigerator is paid separately. At the same time, it is difficult to rent a hair dryer or a table lamp.

Prices in Koblevo are rather big. Nice room with all amenities, repair, TV, air conditioning - from 250 UAH. If the hotel has a swimming pool, the price automatically increases one and a half times. Some bases with well-groomed landscaped areas, there are equipped playgrounds. There are several private cottages with daily rent.

Fans of club nightlife are better off staying in the Moldavian part of the resort - almost all the hot spots are concentrated on a small patch a kilometer away.

Dreaming of sleeping off - look for a hotel with metal-plastic windows, or on the third line, or closer to the "Dawn". There, most of the cafes "with karaoke and disco" close at 24.00.

The favorite feature of Koblev boarding houses is "accommodation with meals. " Many people like it. Personally, I prefer to eat on my own and not depend on the schedule of the dining room and the mood of the cook. There are many cafes, but it is very difficult to choose a truly high-quality cuisine. Too many open points of the canteen type with the inevitable flies.

There are several mini markets with milk, sausages and sweets. There are wine shops on tap. There are a couple of very sleepy markets with vegetables, smoked fish and fake wine. Unfortunately, Koblev merchants consider fruit a delicacy and sell it at fantastic prices for the south of Ukraine. For example: on June 8, Ukrainian cherries cost UAH 33, Turkish apricots - UAH 48.

There are certain problems with water in Koblevo. The vast majority of hotels pump water from wells, the water in which is salty to bitterness. For the shower - tolerable, for drinking - unsuitable. Decent hoteliers put coolers in the corridors. For the rest - drinking water in five-liter bottles from the nearest store.

The fight against garbage in Koblevo from year to year ends with the victory of garbage. There are very few trash cans, full packages lie around for days in the most accessible places. The water park area at the Orbita b / o is an abandoned wasteland with reeds and a rather large pack of dogs. In other parts it is better, but we are still far from Nice or Jurmala...

ENTERTAINMENT.

Standard beach set - banana, scooter, fishing in the sea, parachute. Sometimes animators work. Attractions. Two water parks. The dolphinarium is being built. Cinemas. Concerts. Occasionally festivals. Excursions to Odessa, including the 7th kilometer and the Opera House. Excursions to the Nikolaev Zoo. Tasting of the products of the Koblev winery.

Unfortunately, local travel agencies are too lazy to open new routes: concerts in Odessa, Belgorod-Dniester fortress, Vilkovo, Kinburn Spit, Olvia, Kherson geyser and desert. In Italy, the grape harvest is a holiday for tourists, this niche is not yet occupied in our country.

It is now patriotic and budgetary to develop Ukrainian resorts. Koblevo is a resort that has a good chance of turning from a small-town "recreation area" into a popular holiday destination in the Northern Black Sea region.

Koblevo lacks competent centralized management, which could unite the disparate interests of the owners of the bases for their benefit and for the benefit of tourists. We need high-quality, not template-protocol advertising in Ukraine. We need roads!! ! It is necessary to solve problems with garbage and supplies of high-quality drinking water. I don't know whether this should be decided at the level of the local territorial community or at the level of the board of directors of boarding houses. But you have to decide! Of course, all this requires time and investment. And in 2014, Ukrainians (as well as Moldovans) are waiting for the good old Koblevo - with all its shortcomings. But most importantly, our beloved Black Sea is waiting for all of us!
