Exterior: the recreation center "Golden Sands" is located on the Spit Peresyp in the village. Kirillovka, Zaporozhye region.
Prices vary from 300 to 400 UAH. per day per person.
I rate this room 7 points.
The double standard is equipped with a TV, air conditioning and a refrigerator, which is an indisputable advantage. The room also has a shower and toilet. The presence of a boiler in the room provides hot water at any time of the day.
Of the furniture in the room: 2 beds, a wardrobe (shoulders available), a hanger, 2 bedside tables, a table and 2 chairs. The walls are painted in a "typical nice color". A rope is stretched on the balcony, so you can dry your swimsuit and bedspread. By the way, there are clothespins too. The balcony offers a beautiful view of the sea.
Now let's move on to the "cons" - the sink is very poorly attached in the bathroom, God forbid you lean on it. The shower is closed with a thin curtain, the jet of water is directed directly at it and constantly raises it. As a result, the bathroom is full of water, and there is no rug in front of the shower stall. When you get out of the shower, there is nothing to hold on to, it is very slippery, you can easily fall. I did so.
Cleanliness I rate 2 points:
Upon checking into the room, we discovered that no one must have cleaned it. A lot of cobwebs, dust and sand. On the balcony, in general, the entire external unit from the air conditioner was braided with cobwebs. There was sand in the shower tray.
The blankets in the room were questionably stained. . . But, thank God, the weather was fine and we didn't need any blankets.
For 10 days of our stay at the recreation center, the maid never cleaned our room. However, there was a broom in the room and I swept it myself. Bed linen and towels were also not changed for 10 days.
Among the "pluses" I note that in the bathroom I did not find a fungus on the walls, and this is good news. Also, upon check-in, clean bed linen and towels were provided.
I rate the dining room 9 points:
Great food in the canteen! Very tasty, many thanks to all the cooks working at the recreation center "Golden Sands"!!!!!!! ! I would especially like to note the pork roast, fish cakes and pilaf !! ! The first courses are also very tasty.
The only thing that is not entirely clear to me is the variety of dishes for vacationers who pay for food in cash, and for those who pay for food by bank transfer. If you decide to buy lunches for cash, then you will be presented with a fairly wide selection of dishes. If you paid for meals by bank transfer, you will be given a choice of only 2 dishes.
We paid for meals by bank transfer, on the day of arrival breakfast was not included in the price of the tour, breakfast for two people cost us 80 UAH. Those. the prices are quite reasonable.
I rate the entertainment program at 7 points:
The disco at the recreation center "Golden Sands" is organized daily from 20:00 to 23:00 on the seashore near the "bar on the sands", as it is called.
By 23:00, the audience is just beginning to "warm up". And the name "bar" for this institution is a clear exaggeration. In fact, this is a kiosk from the 90s of the last century and a dozen tables adjoin it. They don't know how to make "Mojito" in this "bar", it tastes more like "Corvalol". The prices are quite high: you will pay 15 UAH for a bottle of beer in a store at a neighboring base, and 27 UAH in a “bar on the sands”.
Special thanks to Natalia and the city of Zaporozhye, who led these discos and, as best she could, "warmed up" the audience. Natalia, you truly were the decoration of the entertainment program!!!
Also, I want to note that buses run from Kirillovka-Kharkov directly from the recreation center, it is very convenient. Nice price 250 UAH. The bus is comfortable, air-conditioned, everything works and does not fall off on the way.
However, there are certain inconveniences: check-out from the room is provided at 09:00, and the bus leaves at 12:00. You can swim in the sea for another three hours… But there is nowhere to put your things… It’s not comme il faut on the beach with things… So you have to load things into the luggage compartment of the bus and guard them for three hours!! ! I think that you need to make a left-luggage office somewhere, this will greatly facilitate your vacationers waiting time for the bus to depart, and they will return to you again and again.
