We settled without a reservation, we just ended up in Kyiv at night and needed to spend the night somewhere. We were offered a room right away, pretty good, everything we needed was available. Warmly, there is hot water, spare blankets. Lots of closets. The wind was buzzing in the kitchen all night, because there was a storm warning that day, and the balcony door in the kitchen did not close tightly. Everything would be fine, but... In the morning we left and our 10-year-old son, as it turned out later, forgot his gold chain somewhere on the coffee table or, possibly, on the bed. An hour after check-out, we called the reception desk and warned about the loss. We were told that they would look, but no one called back. A few hours later we arrived at the hotel, we were given the opportunity to look for a chain (in the already cleaned) room. Naturally, we didn't find anything and, as we were told, the maid didn't find anything either. But we are absolutely sure that the chain remained in the room, because the child took it off before going to bed.

And we're left with a bad taste....
