Stayed at the hotel over Christmas 2015. From the good: 1) location in the center, at the beginning of my favorite Khreshchatyk 2) beautiful interior (everything was beautifully decorated for the new year) 3) a beautiful restaurant (a bit pretentious) at breakfast there was even live music on the piano. This is where the pluses end.

Stayed at the hotel over Christmas 2015. From the good: 1) location in the center, at the beginning of my favorite Khreshchatyk
2) beautiful interior (everything was beautifully decorated for the new year)
3) a beautiful restaurant (a bit pretentious) at breakfast there was even live music on the piano. This is where the pluses end. Then begins the soviet attitude towards visitors. During the three days of our stay at the hotel, towels were never changed for us, mini-cosmetics were not updated. Cleaning consisted of picking up trash bags and that's it. The bathroom in our room was half closed with some kind of partition, so no matter how hard we tried not to splash water, puddles still formed on the floor, which the maids stupidly ignored. When on the second day of our stay in Kyiv the frost started -15, it became very cold in the room. I had to sleep wearing all the sweaters and sweaters that I had with me. Of course, it would be possible to "shake the rights" at the reception, but this is unlikely to change anything in the attitude of the staff towards their guests, because. they take advantage of the excellent location of the hotel, they know that people will come to them anyway.

The staff is polite and helpful - let's say changing the room was not difficult. The hotel is well located in the very center, for business trips and meetings in the center is very convenient. All public areas of the hotel are in need of renovation.

The main advantages of the hotel are its location and delicious breakfasts from "Panorama". Polite staff. The rest is so-so. There is no refrigerator in the room, the furniture is outdated. Hairdryer - a separate conversation. An incomprehensible old device screwed to the wall. Used towels, although clean. Carpet in different colors.

Ideal location. Excellent breakfast. In my opinion, a hotel that positions itself as a four-star hotel is characterized by a better condition of the bathroom and furniture, even if we talk about an economy class room. For example, room 533 of this hotel has old Soviet-era tiles laid in the same Soviet way, which does not add to the pleasure of using the shower and toilet.

Doors of unknown purpose, screwed to the wall, emphasize the Soviet origin of the hotel. It's hard for me to imagine such a state of a room in any four-star hotel. Faucets/faucets are also installed without due care. The room has double-glazed windows, but they are installed crookedly. It is not possible to close the left side of the window tightly, so the room is quite noisy. In room 506, facing the courtyard, the windows are from the times of the USSR. It's scary to open them. There is no refrigerator/minibar in the room. In general, the number will pull for 2 stars. The hotel appears to be undergoing a slow refurbishment and it is possible that there are better quality rooms available.

The hotel is conveniently located in the city center. The hotel has many rooms that are called standard - they are worse in design with similar rooms, but improved. there is a difference in price, but it seems not very significant. the standard rooms are in need of refurbishment.

Liked a good breakfast. Very convenient location. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Infrastructure pleased. The rooms are small, too "economy", the furniture is a bit old. There is no air conditioning.
