Kachanivka
Went with a young man for the weekend. For lack of a personal car, they traveled by regular bus from the bus station "Darnitsa" (Kyiv) to the regional center of Ichnya (Chernihiv region). Upon arrival at the station, I advise you to immediately explore the schedule for the return buses, it is very specific. From Ichni to Kachanovka, we used the services of a private trader. For my beautiful eyes and three kilometers, he tore off 20 UAH. , but wanted a thirty (!!! ). But if the weather is favorable, I can advise you to go on foot. This is an hour of travel through beauty and silence, and the villagers will easily tell you the way. The roads in the Chernihiv region are disgusting, but there are no others. Regarding the rental of places for the night - they need to be booked in advance. Due to the fact that we arrived in the off-season, there were rooms, but the locals warned that it was tight on the weekends with an overnight stay. Regarding mobile operators - at the time of our trip, MTS and Kyivstar were working in Kachanovka. "Life" had no cover at all. Living conditions - either for Spartans not pampered by civilization, or for lovers who don’t care. We were settled in a servants' wing right on the territory of the Kachanovka nature reserve. Perhaps this is the specificity of this particular outbuilding, but there was no hot water and a shower. Of all the benefits - a toilet. We were given a separate room, the rent of which was 70 UAH. day regardless of the number of residents. Clean and in good condition bed linen. There is nothing like a cafe or restaurant in Kachanovka itself, only in the neighboring village of Petrushovka, so it is advisable to take small supplies of water and food. There is a grocery store in the village building, but the choice there is small (what needs a village of 500 people can have! ) - bread, canned food, cookies. It is also problematic with medicine there - it is better to take a banal first-aid kit with you just in case. And in general, we liked everything. We did not regret the trip : ) The place is not trampled down by tourists, the architecture is amazing, the locals are good and helpful people. Romance and incredible silence.
