Impressions are very contradictory.
First about the good.
"Radon" is really the best sanatorium in Khmelnyk. Only it was built in our time, everything else was created during the Soviet era and simply modernized. Only here you can get all the procedures, treatment and food without going outside (important in the cold or rain). At the same time, it is quite a bit more expensive than competitors (if at all).
IMPORTANT - only if you do not live in the 3rd building, which is a separate phenomenon that requires a separate review.

On the territory - a very beautiful landscape design (small size). Although the area of Radon itself is very small, there is more than where to take a walk. In the adjacent sanatorium (Zheleznodorozhny) there is a huge and well-groomed park (forest park? ) with ponds, a river and a fountain. The size of the park is obscenely large as for one sanatorium. A little further along Shevchenko is a good park of the MVS sanatorium with access to a pretty embankment with landscape design from the Bereg cafe. Entrance to the territory of any sanatorium is free for everyone. There is also a medium-groomed coniferous park opposite the Xido Palace, across the river. If this is not enough - walk along the right or left bank of the river - both upstream from the Xido Palace, or from the Bereg cafe - downstream (I did it and did not regret it).
Now for the not so good.
Radon's creators/managers didn't seem to see anything other than Khmilnik. We set ourselves the task - we should be better! The task was completed... As a result, the spirit of the "scoop" is in almost everything... And this is sad. By the standards of the USSR, this is the most luxurious sanatorium. According to modern ones - well, not Karlovy Vary at all. Disadvantages - systemic, in many ways already described in other reviews.
What can be fixed, most importantly, in order of difficulty:
Putting things in order with the queues in the bathroom - it costs nothing, practically. Just do as in all other offices.
Make a computer system for painting procedures (they already exist).
Raise the level of service to "the customer is always right" and he needs to always smile. This is more difficult, but not too expensive.
To make a restaurant on the site in two shifts is already expensive, of course, but it will raise the level very much.
In the meantime, unfortunately, the niche of the (more or less) top-level sanatorium in Khmelnyk is not occupied by anyone.
Accommodation (2nd building VIP room).
There are no special claims to the number. Only an unpleasant smell from the bathroom at times, especially when the air conditioner is on.
High ceilings. Good light bulbs. The TV is new. Internet is good. Linens are of good quality and are changed every 3 days. Cleaning every day, clean. Bed, pillow - slept well. The soundproofing in our room was good. There is an electric kettle, a set of dishes (cups, glasses, spoons, knives, forks), a basin for washing - there is. Tea, coffee, sugar, slippers, bathrobe, laundry - no. Of the soap accessories - only liquid hand soap.
Within the sanatorium there is a shopping center (groceries, brewed coffee, clothes, household goods, a pharmacy) with a good choice.
Nearby, within walking distance - cafes, restaurants, a nightclub, a supermarket, everything you need for happiness)))).

We really liked Kaffe Marko - an excellent interior of the capital level and the same level of desserts-ice cream-coffee-pizza-drinks. From Radon across the road and 100 meters to the left (right after the first bridge).
Nutrition.
Organized in the "Canteen" format in one shift, with a choice of 3 dishes. The dining room couldn't possibly be better. But not a restaurant. The food is very high-calorie, balanced, much is even tasty, despite the diet))).
Treatment and procedures.
The doctors are good. I especially liked the vertebrologist. When you check in, they do a cardiogram, an x-ray, for those who don’t. They send me to another sanatorium for an MRI (an old machine).
There is no computer system for procedures, everything is done by hand in the offices. Be careful - look at the compatibility of procedures over time.
At all procedures - the normal order (I went in, passed the dignity of the book to my sister and you are waiting for a call on soft sofas in wide corridors or halls, usually up to 10 minutes), EXCEPT BATH!! ! For some reason, in the baths, the staff removes itself from restoring proper order and inclines vacationers to create a “live queue” with all its “charms” - “You weren’t standing here, but I was leaving, ” etc. You can wait in this way up to an hour !?
The medical staff is well so busy with work on impressions.
Very good massage.
When the wife got sick (tonsillitis), they were treated in the best way - the doctor came to the room, then the head nurse organized everything and the sisters just quartzed the room 2 times a day and brought procedures (for angina). They got to their feet very quickly - there is an unequivocal positive here.
Pricing according to the Khmelnikov standard. The price is given per person per day, not per room. Of the cost - 240gr - this is a course, that is, a set of procedures for every day - a bath (radon or other), massage and 3-4 others (electro, ultrasound, magnet, laser, etc. ). That is, I did not pay extra for the procedures, my wife had something for extra money.

In general, there is no better place in Khmilnyk yet. The staff works conscientiously. And here Management IMHO does not finish. Maybe he doesn’t see the point - and so it’s normal, occupancy is 100% all year round, rooms need to be booked 3-4 months in advance.
