In the first building there are rooms for living and medical departments, which is very convenient. The second building (№3) across the road. Near the building, construction work is underway. Standard + rooms are not big, but cozy, cleaned every day. Doctors and staff are very attentive and responsive. Not in every sanatorium the chef comes into the hall and asks the guests if the food was delicious. The food was really delicious homemade. Fruits, pastries, meat, fish dishes every day. There were no hungry or dissatisfied people.
I won’t write about treatment and procedures, as it’s all individual.
I wish you good health and visit the sanatorium "Radon" in the city of Khmelnyk.

Good day to all!! ! I want to share my impressions about the rest in the Radon sanatorium from 08/03/2018 to 08/16/2018. We rested with a friend in building No. 3 on the 4th floor, I would like to note the excellent work of the maids Lyuba and Galya, they will tell you everything, tell, help, very respectful and sympathetic (especially Lyubochka always came to the rescue).

The room was cleaned daily and very high quality, I would like to note that the room is equipped with everything you need (kettle, hairdryer, refrigerator, cups, glasses, plates, cutlery, clothes dryer, wash basin). As for the bath towels, for the face and foot, plus they give out a separate towel and sheet for procedures. The room is comfortable, everything is very comfortable and clean, good repair and excellent bed linen, but there are no air conditioners in this building, so the price is lower than in buildings No. 1 and No. 2.
Now about the dining room: food for 12 out of 12 points, everything is very tasty and plentiful, you can choose from three proposed options in the hall there is always a chef and an administrator who will answer all questions, of course, due to the fact that the resort is crowded, air conditioners in the dining room hall can not cope and the waitresses sometimes take a long time to carry the order.
There are quite a lot of procedures included in the price, and this was very pleasing, since our budget was limited. Everywhere is very clean and beautiful: very beautiful curtains and wallpaper in all rooms, the hand of the designer is visible. All the nurses are great with such a flow of people, everyone is friendly and responsive, but of course the human factor is present and there are different situations, but more often all disputes arose due to the irritability of vacationers.
In previous reviews, they wrote about a small area at the sanatorium, it is, but what beauty is there, you can’t tear your eyes off, but literally behind the fence there is a sanatorium for railway workers and there is a rather large park area.
In general, the impressions are only positive, having arrived home, I advise all my friends to go to rest only in Radon. I wish all employees health and well-being, prosperity to the owners and continue to develop the sanatorium.

Impressions are very contradictory. First about the good. "Radon" is really the best sanatorium in Khmelnyk. Only it was built in our time, everything else was created during the Soviet era and simply modernized. Only here you can get all the procedures, treatment and food without going outside (important in the cold or rain).

"Radon" is really the best sanatorium in Khmelnyk. Only it was built in our time, everything else was created during the Soviet era and simply modernized. Only here you can get all the procedures, treatment and food without going outside (important in the cold or rain). At the same time, it is quite a bit more expensive than competitors (if at all).
IMPORTANT - only if you do not live in the 3rd building, which is a separate phenomenon that requires a separate review.
On the territory - a very beautiful landscape design (small size). Although the area of Radon itself is very small, there is more than where to take a walk. In the adjacent sanatorium (Zheleznodorozhny) there is a huge and well-groomed park (forest park? ) with ponds, a river and a fountain. The size of the park is obscenely large as for one sanatorium. A little further along Shevchenko is a good park of the MVS sanatorium with access to a pretty embankment with landscape design from the Bereg cafe. Entrance to the territory of any sanatorium is free for everyone. There is also a medium-groomed coniferous park opposite the Xido Palace, across the river. If this is not enough - walk along the right or left bank of the river - both upstream from the Xido Palace, or from the Bereg cafe - downstream (I did it and did not regret it).
Now for the not so good.
Radon's creators/managers didn't seem to see anything other than Khmilnik. We set ourselves the task - we should be better! The task was completed... As a result, the spirit of the "scoop" is in almost everything... And this is sad. By the standards of the USSR, this is the most luxurious sanatorium. According to modern ones - well, not Karlovy Vary at all. Disadvantages - systemic, in many ways already described in other reviews.
What can be fixed, most importantly, in order of difficulty:
Putting things in order with the queues in the bathroom - it costs nothing, practically. Just do as in all other offices.
Make a computer system for painting procedures (they already exist).
Raise the level of service to "the customer is always right" and he needs to always smile. This is more difficult, but not too expensive.
To make a restaurant on the site in two shifts is already expensive, of course, but it will raise the level very much.
In the meantime, unfortunately, the niche of the (more or less) top-level sanatorium in Khmelnyk is not occupied by anyone.
Accommodation (2nd building VIP room).
There are no special claims to the number. Only an unpleasant smell from the bathroom at times, especially when the air conditioner is on.
High ceilings. Good light bulbs. The TV is new. Internet is good. Linens are of good quality and are changed every 3 days. Cleaning every day, clean. Bed, pillow - slept well. The soundproofing in our room was good. There is an electric kettle, a set of dishes (cups, glasses, spoons, knives, forks), a basin for washing - there is. Tea, coffee, sugar, slippers, bathrobe, laundry - no. Of the soap accessories - only liquid hand soap.
Within the sanatorium there is a shopping center (groceries, brewed coffee, clothes, household goods, a pharmacy) with a good choice.
Nearby, within walking distance - cafes, restaurants, a nightclub, a supermarket, everything you need for happiness)))).
We really liked Kaffe Marko - an excellent interior of the capital level and the same level of desserts-ice cream-coffee-pizza-drinks. From Radon across the road and 100 meters to the left (right after the first bridge).
Nutrition.
Organized in the "Canteen" format in one shift, with a choice of 3 dishes. The dining room couldn't possibly be better. But not a restaurant. The food is very high-calorie, balanced, much is even tasty, despite the diet))).
Treatment and procedures.
The doctors are good. I especially liked the vertebrologist. When you check in, they do a cardiogram, an x-ray, for those who don’t. They send me to another sanatorium for an MRI (an old machine).
There is no computer system for procedures, everything is done by hand in the offices. Be careful - look at the compatibility of procedures over time.
At all procedures - the normal order (I went in, passed the dignity of the book to my sister and you are waiting for a call on soft sofas in wide corridors or halls, usually up to 10 minutes), EXCEPT BATH!! ! For some reason, in the baths, the staff removes itself from restoring proper order and inclines vacationers to create a “live queue” with all its “charms” - “You weren’t standing here, but I was leaving, ” etc. You can wait in this way up to an hour !?
The medical staff is well so busy with work on impressions.
Very good massage.
When the wife got sick (tonsillitis), they were treated in the best way - the doctor came to the room, then the head nurse organized everything and the sisters just quartzed the room 2 times a day and brought procedures (for angina). They got to their feet very quickly - there is an unequivocal positive here.
Pricing according to the Khmelnikov standard. The price is given per person per day, not per room. Of the cost - 240gr - this is a course, that is, a set of procedures for every day - a bath (radon or other), massage and 3-4 others (electro, ultrasound, magnet, laser, etc. ). That is, I did not pay extra for the procedures, my wife had something for extra money.
In general, there is no better place in Khmilnyk yet. The staff works conscientiously. And here Management IMHO does not finish. Maybe he doesn’t see the point - and so it’s normal, occupancy is 100% all year round, rooms need to be booked 3-4 months in advance.

If you are going to go to the sanatorium "Rodon", be prepared that: 1. You will be met by staff who do not hate you and work on the principle of what kind of salary and work 2. Lack of space for walks: a green area 15 m wide and 80 m long is adjacent to the central transit street of Khmilnyk 3. In the reception department you will be forced to sign a health insurance with a deductible of 50% ba without issuing a cash document for 90 UAH paid, you will sign a statement that you will not demand a refund if you leave the resort early under any circumstances 4.

I read the reviews below and it seems to me that we rested in different sanatoriums... Personally, I liked the san. Radon, everything is quite commensurate in the price-quality ratio. Yes, not Karlovy Vary, but the price is also not European, but somehow lower by an order of magnitude. Territory. Yes, the territory is really small (which is honestly stated on the website of the sanatorium in a detailed photo report).

Territory. Yes, the territory is really small (which is honestly stated on the website of the sanatorium in a detailed photo report). Considering that through the fence of the railway workers with a good park and cute squirrels - for me this was not a problem at all. Shop on the territory of the sanatorium, it has delicious coffee.
Accommodation. I did not like that the sanatorium was in the city center - I wanted to be away from the bustle of the city. But for many, this is a plus - there are shops, cafes, ATMs, a minibus to the market nearby. A wonderful church within a minute's reach, the ruins of a castle. . .
Accommodation - I lived in building No. 3 across the road - the rooms are a little smaller (a little narrower) than in the main building, but the soundproofing is better (I didn’t notice any discomfort at all). Everything you need is there - a hair dryer, a TV set, a refrigerator, towels for the shower and separately for procedures. The view was at a construction site - not very much. I would like it to be built. In corp. No. 3 is quieter, fewer people - in the evenings we sat in the lobby on the floor and played board games - no one bothered, no one bothered us. The building is a 3-minute walk from the main building. Basically there is a locker room where I left my outerwear and went to the procedures.
In the main building, a wonderful free!! ! billiards (in all-inclusive billiards for money mostly, but here it was free, which made us incredibly happy).
Housekeeping - normal, no issues.
Food - more than. Everything is balanced: there is always something fish for lunch, the breakfast is such that on the first day I thought that the waiters mixed up the lunch menu and brought it in the morning. Delicious, that's really a lot of tasty things (I'm basically a fan of eating and I know a lot about it). The dietary table differs from the usual one in that everything is the same, but steamed (my friend was on the dietary table).
Treatment - I signed up all around and came at the appointed time and in general everything is fine. Yes, there is some time delay, but it is not significant. It’s more a question of vacationers who allow themselves to be late, dress / undress for 10 minutes (it’s hard to plan your wardrobe for a trip so that there are comfortable sportswear and a loose sweater). Primetime from 10 to 12, if you sign up for procedures a little earlier / later - everything is ok (I went to an ascending shower before breakfast - generally free). My advice - do not sign up for 8 procedures for one day, it will really be a problem to be in time all around.
And yes, on the topic of "bad treatment" - you need to be treated at home in a hospital, and you need to go to a sanatorium to improve your health. Many people think that they will live at random until they are 50, and then they will go to a sanatorium and they will be cured there in 10 days. No, a miracle will not happen!
As for the attitude of the staff towards the vacationers, there are no complaints at all, everything is fine. Everyone is polite - everyone smiles, enters into the situation and promptly helps to solve the problem (my roommate was snoring, I approached the administration with this problem and I was moved to another room the same day).
Advice to vacationers - do not expect that they will bow to you, no one owes you anything. The staff are ordinary people, people at work. You will receive exactly what you should receive - the necessary procedures. If you want a smile, try smiling yourself to those around you (by the way, this works in any country in the world, a kind of universal language). Say hello, smile, say thank you/please (and don't walk around with sour mines and criticism of everything and everywhere) - and you will have polite staff.
Yes, there are bureaucratic moments (when checking in). It is better not to visit on Monday (but this is the case in all resorts), since there are always queues on Mondays.
Disadvantages: the lack of a private pool (yes, there is a pool in the bathroom of the railroad workers through the fence, but it is very shovels). I would like my own, which would be at the level of the entire sanatorium (ideally - with a kind of spa complex).
The big downside for me was that the staff refuses to accept tips. The maids first pass out, and then run away from you if you try to leave a tip for cleaning the room. I suspect that this is such a policy of the leadership. Dear leaders of the sanatorium! There is nothing wrong with tips. All over the world, this is accepted, this is the norm. Personally, I don’t understand why in Egypt I leave a tip to some non-Russian-speaking guy, and it’s the norm there, while in your country our Ukrainian woman is forbidden to receive what everyone in the world gets in her position. Moreover, I am sure that when you, the leaders, go on vacation abroad, you leave a tip there. Are we Europe? Then let's adopt world business methods and standards in the tourism sector in everything, and not selectively (including tips).
This fall I'm going back to Radon. I wanted to check into the main building this time (I’m going in cold weather, I wanted the declared “everything under one roof”) But, unfortunately, before NG there are no free places in bldg. No. 3. Whether something has changed and in what direction - I will describe upon arrival.

Yes, it’s new, yes, it’s beautiful (in some places), but the food is not bad, BUT, they treat it so-so, only at the expense of radon and draw it out, the rest of the procedures (free) like in a pioneer camp, inhalations, exercise therapy, etc. . For effective procedures - pay) I advise you not to settle in the third building yet, on the outskirts, construction, dogs, dust from construction, noise and other delights.

And also a terribly small territory of the hotel, I still had to fight for a place on the bench. Is it really problematic to put more benches? And there is no way to drink ordinary drinking water on the territory of the hotel, just buy or run to your third building... the same story with the toilets in the evening in the main building they are simply closed.
If anyone behind new rooms with cardboard walls is in radon, but I think you need to be treated elsewhere.

I chose a hotel from those available in Khmelnyk: there is a new hotel on the website, many procedures are included in the price of the tour, everything is beautiful and well-groomed in the photo. It's all right, just a little different! The staff is not trained at all! Upon arrival, as in Soviet times, you need to sign an application with the director! What for? More than 15 people in line.

Then the same turn to pay to the accounting department. There is no medical reception: you yourself need to run around three floors and somehow combine the procedures in time and space. Finally, by 12 o'clock, I completed the registration for the procedures, and the time is imposed at their discretion, I had to insist on my own. The apogee of the first day was self-service on electroprocedures!

Bed linen and towels are white, of high quality, as in foreign hotels. numbers. The only downside is the poor soundproofing between rooms. Fabulous food. An extensive selection of procedures (most included in the price of the tour), which are released on the latest equipment.

Fabulous food. An extensive selection of procedures (most included in the price of the tour), which are released on the latest equipment. Everything is clean, new, modern. There are several very smart doctors. Therapists are so-so, but not greedy for procedures. Very good masseurs - all young guys and massage techniques are similar (according to vacationers). ), do not conscientiously volynyat.
It is very convenient that the sleeping building, medical and dining room under one roof. Well-trained, polite staff. The director of the sanatorium is constantly in sight, keeps everything under control and is interested in the impressions and comments of the guests of the sanatorium.
The general impression is that in 30 years of visiting sanatoriums (including for the servants of the people; ) this is the first time I have met such a level of a sanatorium. Bravo!
