Rest for the New Year. Having read it, it was... dumb to go . . But as we were told, in September the leadership and all the staff changed at Kordon. What can I say - we are delighted! The rooms are very warm, clean and comfortable. We took a room above the cafe, contrary to fears, not noisy. The kitchen is simple and homely.

We came to the restaurant and were horrified. assorted meat - a saucer with homemade sausage, which, despite the fact that everyone was hungry, did not eat. It was dry and hard, that you can hammer in nails. It seems that it was prepared for the New Year and then taken out of the freezer. assorted pickles consisted of pickled tomatoes. and that's it! ordered jellied tongue. but it was never served for cold appetizers. after a reminder. brought one plate out of two. the fact that the appearance of this dish, so to speak, was unsightly, is not enough. the tongue was undercooked and therefore rubbery. a knife had to be applied well to cut off a piece. in general, everyone was hungry, the birthday boy was angry, and after lengthy explanations and proceedings with the kitchen, and subsequently with a stupid administrator, who turned out to be a non-professional in her field, instead of resolving the conflict and reassuring the guests, she began to use obscene language and brought it out completely.
We packed our things and left this nightmarish establishment safely.

For two days we ordered additional breakfasts (for a fee, of course), because an omelet with a 5-gram piece of ham before an active journey through Kholodny Yar is not food. Especially for a man. On the third day, we were told that they would not prepare additional breakfast for us. Given that there is nowhere else to eat - you understand. And cooking is warming up pancakes so that you understand.
We took grilled ribs in the evening. I have never seen so much fat. There was basically nothing to eat. Well, the kebab from the neck, of course, not from the neck, but from the shoulder at best, at a price of 45 UAH per 100 g. Sour cream is a supermarket powder of not the best quality, but why was it necessary to lie that it was homemade - it is not clear. Same thing with barbecue sauce. It means ordinary ketchup. It's okay, but, fir-trees, again, why lie that this is a sauce like adjika and other things? 10% of the bill is included for waiters.
Regarding the room, atmosphere and service: Since there was only a deluxe room left, they booked it, although objectively the price is completely unjustified. Probably, they wanted to make something like a billiard room with a sauna there. On the third floor, without a balcony, and in fact without full windows - the so-called attic floor, which is nonsense for a good room. They showed us the standards - very nice.
The local "trick", you see, a fireplace. However, the wood for the fireplace lay damp and without splinters. Obviously, they were counting on the fact that no one would kindle a fire there. But perseverance and work... and a matter of principle : )
The hose in the bathroom was leaking - they replaced it promptly, for which I thank you, but this, in principle, should not have happened. The faucet in the sink rests on a kind word. Soap and shampoo are available. There is no cleaning from the word "absolutely". Just take out the trash and change towels every 2 days.
Wi-Fi is available, but it is not. Absolutely. Mobile communications, by the way, too, although this can be regarded as a plus.
Overhead in the "suite" - a living corner, that is, bats : ) Not in the room itself, really.
