We were very pleased with the comfort of the rooms (we lived in number 4), the interior of the dining room, the courtyard and the playground are very well maintained. The rooms have mosquito nets on the windows, the air conditioning works silently, our room had a hair dryer. It's nice that both the owners and the staff treat vacationers, as they are welcome guests who they want to see more than once)) They are responsive and friendly to any requests. A separate topic is food - they really enjoyed it (although this pleasure was deposited in an extra kilo, but to rest, so rest! ) The menu is custom-made, they will cook it at the time you need. We rested with a child of 3.5 years, so we approached food selectively. All dishes are prepared from high-quality and fresh products, everything we ordered was delicious (we tried everything). The cook baked delicious pies with cherries, charlotte, cool pizza. We arrived home, and the child asks us to cook pies like this now !! ! until it turned out)) In the evenings, dinner can be served on the street at tables, sit in pleasure. The beach is close, 1 minute walk, on the beach there are awnings, benches, yellow sand (shell only in front of the shore). The beach adjoins the Neftekhimik sanatorium; There are many entertainments for the child in the boarding house Slavutich (10 minutes walk from our hotel).
We went to the zoo in Berdyansk (I liked it very much) and to the embankment (I didn’t like it at all, you can not waste time). I recommend to relax families with children, young couples who still enjoy communication with each other. For lovers of noisy rest, it will be boring in the evenings, you will need to move to the Middle Spit. I wish you all the right choice, have a good rest! And thanks again to Galatea for the rest!

The hotel and surroundings are quiet and peaceful, an ideal place to relax with children or grandchildren. The only downside to the hotel is its location.

The only downside to the hotel is its location. It is located quite far from the noisy life of Berdyansk and the beginning of the Spit (~ 5 km), for lovers of parties and entertainment this is a minus, but as I said - for a family vacation or for calm youth (such as me and my girlfriend) what do you need. And if you have a car, it’s generally super - you can go to have fun in Berdyansk or at the beginning of the Spit, and return to relax and go to the beach in Galatea and enjoy the peace and quiet (by the way, you can ride buses and minibuses, the stop is right in front of the hotel and they go they regularly).
Everything you need is in the hotel (on the 1st floor there is a convenience store, there is 24-hour food in the hotel; however, we didn’t abuse either one or the other at night, we tried to eat during the day and buy everything in our room in advance and not disturb people over trifles).
The menu is sufficient for most inexperienced visitors, no frills, but really tasty, fresh and, well, very inexpensive. For example, a plate of excellent chicken noodle soup 20 UAH, a salad of fresh vegetables with chicken breast 28 UAH, a chop with mushrooms and cheese, something in the region of 36-38 UAH. The portions are quite large, so it is quite possible to eat right at the hotel (although we went for a walk to Berdyansk and ate more often in a cafe there).
Of the little disappointments - Wi-Fi did not reach our room, we had to use the Internet via mobile (which is slow), and in order to download the Formula 1 broadcast, we had to sit in the car for an hour because there was Wi-Fi in the parking lot.
: ) But I'm so confused and they promised to fix everything, they said that it was just during our stay there was some kind of breakdown of the router or something like that.
But the air conditioner in the room, hot water, refrigerator, kettle, light, satellite and conventional antenna TV - everything worked properly 24 hours a day, no complaints!
On the territory there is a sandbox, tables, benches and swings under awnings. Pretty cozy, but the mosquitoes got stuck, so we almost didn’t sit in the yard (although, again, we were told that mosquitoes are usually poisoned on Kos, but this year for some reason they didn’t poison them and there were really a lot of mosquitoes). Valuable advice - take fumigators and mosquito repellents, they won't interfere. ; )
The beach is really 50 meters from the hotel, across the road (there are not very many cars, they don’t drive fast, and if you follow the children and follow the banal precaution, everything will be OK). The beach is sandy with a shell, clean, wide. And, most importantly - not a "paddling pool", there are not very many people.
And not many annoying pedlars of any baklava, ice cream, shrimp, etc. (although they were).
Would love to come back to Galatea and recommend to friends, no problem! (By the way, my sister was already interested and plans to go in August). Have a nice holiday!
