And now in order. 2 adults, 2 children rested. We had an early check-in, we were at the hotel at 8 in the morning, they gave us wristbands and we were able to have breakfast right away. After breakfast, we changed clothes and went to the pool, already at 10.30 we were given a room on the 4th floor. The room is clean, the air conditioner works. Unfortunately, cleaning was carried out quite rarely, and usually towels were not provided. There are four of us, and 2-3 towels are provided.
In the dining room, the food is rather meager and salty. But you can always find something to your taste.
Internet is paid, as for 5* it's ridiculous.
The staff in the restaurant speak either Turkish or German.
The main currency of the hotel is euro.
Don't set foot in this hotel again.
The work of the hotel staff -reception, restaurant, bars, spa with confidence excellent!
Enough polite staff, there are few Russian speakers at the reception, but all my needs were immediately settled!
Bartender Ali makes an excellent "Washington", it's not a pity to leave it for tea.
An excellent solution is large tents on the sea, a lot of shade, no umbrellas are needed!
There were troubles with the maid, a young thin Turkish woman who opened the safe in the room and put me 100 rubles, she didn’t like the currency (. There were no small €, $. I didn’t like the currency, just leave it on the table, why get into the safe and into the handbag? !!?
There was a lot of food - a lot of meat, fish, fruits. There was no sea food.
Children's animators work well, the child will be brought to you at sea, when the children's room is closed.
And, yes, the Internet is bad, just very weak.
The impression of the hotel "Washington" is quite positive, I do not even take into account the "story with the maid"
We drove from Anex Tour on September 14th. The first "thank you" for the excellent service of the Kyiv agency Anex Tour at Borispolskaya, 6. We checked in for the plane, fully instructed what, how, when and where. Organization of the transfer of the host in Antalya at the highest level. The plane left without delay. The transfer from the airport to the hotel took two hours. Yes, the hotel is last in line, so we were the last tourists on the bus. Arrived in Antalya at 16:30. We were at the hotel around 19:00.
Settled quickly. The rooms were booked standard, without additional payments to the operator for the view from the window. The hotel did not pay anyone extra, so they got rooms on equal terms. We got a room with a view of the car park, friends - with a view of the pool and the beach.
The balcony really has nothing to do with it - there are external units of air conditioners on the balconies, which are very, very noisy, so why pay extra for the view from the window, I don’t know. It is much more fun to go down to the pool bar and spend your evening there with a bunch of cocktails.
The hotel hasn't been updated in a long time. But the rooms are clean, clean and tidy. Towels and bed linen are clean. Bathroom set is complete. Towels were changed daily. They even deliberately turned on the "do not disturb" light so that they could sleep. Air conditioning worked in both rooms. In the minibar upon arrival, water and a few soft drinks. For free. Further, only water was replenished. The only thing that bothered me from time to time was the unobtrusive cat smell that appeared in the bathroom. Either the local water has a specific composition, or something, but what happened, happened.
The restaurant has an excellent selection of food.
Of course, there is no exclusive like lobster, but there are always several side dishes - potatoes, rice (I have never eaten tastier), spaghetti, various sauté s; several types of meat, fish (mainly dorado) - fried, smoked, salted; salads - even Olivier, shake it, cook it; fruits and desserts; and the most delicious bread. Drinks - juices, sodas, local Efes beer, local alcohol cocktails (and pretty good ones). Not only will you not go hungry, you will make a few circles around the food tables to try everything. Not a coffee lover, but the coffee seemed terrible, from the machine, but the tea is gorgeous.
There is a late breakfast and a late dinner - a very limited number of dishes, but you will not stay hungry even at midnight. In addition, a snack bar is open by the pool during the day, where there are always either burgers or hot dogs, french fries, hundredths, meat, fruits. The hotel has a patisserie with a variety of desserts.
There is also a Turkish grandmother who bakes traditional Turkish pastries - gozleme.
There is also a cocktail bar by the pool, open until late at night.
As a result - +5 kg on the scales upon return.
There are outdoor and indoor pools. We didn't use the indoor one, so I can't say anything. But the outdoor pool is great - large and clean. The water is chlorinated. There were no crowds around the pool. Lots of free sun loungers. In the afternoon, sports competitions - a water field, shooting from a gun, darts, volleyball. There are two slides - not a water park, but very cool. One is simple, the other is with turns.
The beach is chintz. Clean. Slightly inconvenient entrance to the sea: 2 meters of shallow water near the coast, and then immediately deep, so it may not be suitable for children. But we both patted the shore and swam in the depths. There are plenty of sun loungers on the beach for everyone. Next to the beach is another cocktail bar, and during the day there is an ice cream point.
In the evening, animators entertain children, and later adults. Interesting show programs. Chico and Lucy - you are the best!
The hotel itself has an almost 24-hour cocktail bar.
Internet is free in the lobby. For 2 euros per day, you can connect to the Internet from anywhere in the hotel - the Internet works well on the beach, in the rooms, in the restaurant - anywhere. Access is purchased per device, not per hotel room. We made it easier. We bought access for a mobile phone, and from it a wi-fi access point distributed the Internet to a laptop and another phone.
The hotel has several shops with all sorts of little things from swimwear and slippers to a hairdresser and Turkish delight. Moreover, the prices are really cheaper than for Turkish delight in duty free at the airport.
The hotel area is not straight to big, but there is where to walk. The boundaries of the beach between the hotels are open, you can walk from hotel to hotel.
From Anex Tour to the hotel guide Nazar. Great guy, he says a lot.
However, some things may not be known. In particular, there are no lunch boxes in the hotel. We had an early flight home, so we had to take care of our satiety on our own. The hotel couldn't help us.
This is the only downside.
In general, the holiday went great. Those minuses that are, for me, do not spoil the picture of my holiday. Considering my experience as a tourist, I can say for sure that the hotel is clearly not 5 *, but a solid 4 *, but the rest is definitely worth the money.
The main disadvantage, which, unfortunately, does not depend on the hotel, is a bunch of ill-mannered and arrogant katsapov who behaved as if everyone was to blame for them here. It was a pity for the hotel workers who, not understanding anything, listened to some claims from the cave Mokshans.
The main advantage of the hotel is its staff. Always welcoming and friendly.
We were settled quickly, the room is good, big enough, clean.
The food is varied, traditional Turkish breakfasts, lunch is always several types of meat (chicken, turkey, beef) for dinner there is always trout or grilled dorado) everything is enough. The food is delicious, the children ate almost everything. There is natural coffee, delicious desserts. But not the only food
The sea is super, as usual
Special thanks to the team of animators who entertained both children and adults.
Girls and boys are just great, children are busy almost all day, competitions, games, awards, entertain as they can.
Evening shows for adult audiences are always trying to surprise with something new.
I am sure I will come back here again !! !
I liked everything, settled quickly, the room is small, clean, overlooking the field and the river, but with a side view of the sea))). The room is in good condition, there is air conditioning. Towels were cleaned and changed every day (even if you don't ask for it).
To the beach walk 3 minutes, around the hotel past the pools and bars. Very clean and green. There are also many sunbeds under palm trees and several hammocks.
The beach is sandy, clean, because it is cleaned quite often. There are enough sunbeds for everyone. Sunset - pebbles, water is clean and clear. A few meters west is gentle, then a sharp cliff, an adult - on the neck. Towels for the beach were given to us on the first day, then every day (or if desired) you can change them.
The food was delicious, there were different types of meat, a few days there was fish. Lots of salads, barbecue dishes, a variety of desserts, fruits - apples, pears, plums, grapes, watermelon, a few days were pomegranates, and grapefruit.
WiFi is free (but weak) in the hotel lobby. In the rooms and on the territory of the Internet is paid, 2E / day.
We liked the service, friendly and kind staff. Unlimited drinking water in the restaurant and near the beach. In the afternoon, waffles, burgers, french fries, and fruit were prepared on the beach.
Entertainment - free table tennis, volleyball, discos 3 times a week, aqua aerobics, gym, paid - billiards, spa, etc.
Special thanks to the animators who held competitions, entertaining and interesting evening shows.
For children - a mini club, children's discos and water slides.
90% of Russians have a rest in hotel, there are Germans, Czechs, Turks. In mid-October, the hotel was 100% occupied, the weather was favorable for rest, the temperature did not fall below 30 °.
The hotel may not be solid 5 *, needs improvement, repair and thorough cleaning.
We doubted whether to go to this hotel, as we read negative reviews.
Tip - read less. If you are positive, then no small disadvantages will spoil your mood and rest!
The room, of course, is good, but two different families, of course, is not a vacation. Two days later, at the insistence of my husband, we were settled in different rooms on the second floor. The rooms are small, but cozy, in terms of cleaning and changing linen I will not go deep, it is not so important.
The food is monotonous and tasteless, the taste of all dishes is the same, the only thing that is delicious is turkey fillet, at least somehow different from everything. Fruit is enough. There are a lot of sweets, but also monotonous.
Another unpleasant impression is the guide from coral travel (odeon) Rusalina. On the second day of our stay, this girl campaigned on excursions and was very active (she did not appear at the hotel for more than 8 days, but left her phone number) and when we asked her questions about the time of departure from the hotel, she answered rudely, I told everything at the beginning.
In general, the hotel is not bad, but far from 5.
Beautiful, green territory, good, unobtrusive animation, and especially the guy who leads the animation from 21.30, he is generally smart. The sea, of course, is lovely, so it washes away all the negatives.
To visit this hotel or not, of course, you need to try everything, but we will definitely not return to it.
1. Stunning clear sea and comfortable pebble beach.
2. There are always plenty of sunbeds with mattresses.
3. Good children's animation, evening children's disco and a varied evening program. I especially liked the live music and the show of Afro-gymnasts.
4. The hotel is family, there is no music at 22, it is quiet and calm.
5. The food is delicious, varied for adults. Fish of the same species and very bony. From fruits: apples, tasteless green cherry plums, delicious watermelons, oranges. They themselves bought strawberries in the market for 2s per kg.
6. We took advantage of the paid hammam + spa + massage procedure. I liked everything, definitely worth the money and you need to spend money in the first days. The masseur is an excellent chiropractor, although I do yoga, I haven’t crunched like that for a long time))
-
1. The territory of the hotel is small, there is nowhere to walk. There is no pier.
2. The playground is very small, the swings are located extremely inconveniently, when children ride hard enough, small children are in danger.
3. Despite the declared ultra all inclusive, alcohol is simply disgusting, more or less beer, wine and baileys we bought in duty free.
4. Very sloppy waiters, even when they pour a glass of wine, they pour it as if they were slashing soup in a budget canteen with a ladle.
5. Cleaning in the rooms is daily, but of poor quality, for 5 days they have never washed under the bed.
6. The food is delicious, but there is no children's menu. From choice: pasta, rice, turkey. Children cannot eat soups. In the morning, either cereal or yogurt. Monotonous.
7. There was no Internet for 2 days at all, Wi-Fi only in the lobby, the speed is minimal.
8. In the hammam The girl was run over for bringing her washcloth and rubbing herself without involving special paid spa staff.
wifi is bad, in the evening it is almost impossible to connect in the lobby, at any rush hour in general.
The spa area in the pool and jacuzzi smells of mold ((
The hotel was good, youthful and very cheerful, despite the fact that the hotel did not have its own animation)
This is about the bad, now about the good. Wonderful, clean, warm sea. The food is delicious and varied. Special attention deserves a wonderful animation in the evenings and children's discos. Girls with children are really engaged, well done! During the day, they also carried out all sorts of activities, such as yoga, aqua aerobics and playing darts. Once there was a foam party, a very cool idea! Cleaned up well. There were always clean towels, the bed was changed.
Wi-Fi is nil.
In general, except for the first day, the rest turned out to be very pleasant and memorable!
Once upon a time, this hotel was located near the beach. But one day, a skilled architect managed to stick the building of another hotel (Lear) between him and the sea, which dramatically changed the positioning of the Washington Hotel. As a result, you have the risk of living in a room overlooking the blank back wall of a neighboring building twenty meters away from you. Most of the other rooms overlook the fields. There are very few sea view rooms. The hotel building itself is a closed pentagon with a well in the middle. As a result, the air in this unventilated well is already heated by 10 o'clock in the morning. All corridors of the hotel overlook this well and you, leaving the room,
you will get heatstroke every time. There is no air conditioning in the corridors of the hotel (five, yes?? ? ). In the same well, compressors and air conditioner heat exchangers are installed, serving the lobby and restaurant. Heat exchange in such a hot place is very difficult (hello Turkish engineers! ) and the cooling efficiency of the above premises is extremely low. As a result, you will eat while sitting in a good draft, which suits the restaurant staff, opening wide open all available windows and doors. The placement of air conditioners in the rooms also causes a smile. The joke is that on your balcony there will be an air conditioner compressor in the next room. If the neighbors turn on the air conditioner, it will be you who will make noise and drive warm air. Of course, you close the balcony door and also turn on the air conditioner, "shaking" the neighbors on the other side and starting a chain reaction (five?? ? well, well).
The rooms on the fifth floor deserve a separate description. They are attic and apparently were built on after the neighbors gracefully erected their building between Washington and the sea. Well, since the fifth floor is an attic, you can imagine how hot the ceiling and the air in such rooms are during the day. Leaving the air conditioner on will not work - the administration monitors this issue and reprimands the guests who decide to cool the room without being in it. Particular attention should be exercised if you are traveling to this hotel as a group of three. There are no TRPL rooms in the hotel and never will be. The third place is a folding bed. That is, when buying and paying for triple accommodation, you will actually receive a "double + extra bed". The hotel administration responds to claims that you are accommodated according to payment. The Pegas website is modestly silent about this "feature" of the hotel, and only after my complaint in October 17 put a footnote on the site,
that by TRPL numbers they mean a cot. You can see their specialty. You will have to carry the key cards from the room to the reception every other day. For some unknown reason, the number lock stops recognizing the key. And such a situation with maps throughout the hotel. The staff does not even check if you reprogram the key in your room. He simply asks for the room number and overwrites the card with a learned movement. The hotel's beach is sandy, with umbrellas and sun loungers. But the entrance to the sea is a medium-sized pebble. Every time you enter and exit the water, you will fall through to the ankles and your joints will not thank you for it. To build bridges for a more convenient entry of vacationers into the water, as is done by the neighbors, the hotel does not guess (five, what can I say !!! ). Part of the sun loungers is located at some distance from the sea on the grass under the palm trees.
If you decide to throw your towel here - know that in the morning and in the evening flies will fly out of the grass, which are very fond of biting through the skin and sucking your blood. During the day, when it's hot, there are no flies. Ants are replacing them. Blacks are basically harmless, but small ones like fleas, redheads will also not miss the moment to express their sincere joy from your visit by poking you somewhere. The chef at this hotel is a genius at cooking chicken and turkey. Almost all meat dishes will be from this type of bird. He knows how to cook a bird well and varied. Sometimes it’s not even clear that you don’t eat beef. For that, in the preparation of fish in the kitchen, no one understands anything. Most of the time it will be hot. Alcoholic beverages deserve a separate topic of discussion. I’ll make a reservation right away: I personally go to the beach, and not get drunk, but to remain silent about what is happening would be blasphemy. So: there is no alcohol in the hotel. At all. On the one hand, it's just wonderful.
Half-dead bodies are not lying around anywhere, no one is falling screaming "tagi-i-il!! " into the pool from the third floor and is not talking "for life". But! Before drinking drinks called alcoholic, I advise you to at least smell them. From the "vodka" comes some kind of sharp chemical smell, which cannot be called natural. The rest of the "whisky", "cognac", and "rum" are most likely a mixture of chemical "vodka" with some kind of flavoring powder. Moreover, "cognac" and "rum" are poured from the same bottle without worrying at all. Beer, of course, only non-alcoholic. How did I know about it? Yes, very simple. I wanted to cauterize another bite on my leg. I took a napkin, soaked it in "vodka" and was surprised to find that the composition does not burn the wound at all, and something like water flows down the leg. Attempts to set fire to a napkin soaked in "vodka" were unsuccessful. She hissed and sizzled in the flame of the lighter, but did not want to burn on her own. WI-FI in the hotel is paid,
which is unthinkable for a five star hotel.
Do you still want to go to this hotel, paying for it as five stars? GOOD LUCK!! !
