The hotel is clearly not ready for the season, the territory is cleaned on the go, the staff is not comfortable.
For an early check-in, they asked "a little bit", well, yes, it's a sin not to give, they settled at 10 in the morning. The room is clean, overlooking the road and the garbage. The room has a mini-bar (replenished with water) and a kettle with tea.
The area is small, almost all occupied by the pool. There is also a small pool with two slides, and a paddling pool.
The entrance to the sea is terrible, you can easily break your legs. I only risked my feet once, after that I walked 150-200 meters to the right, there, near the dismantled, black pier, there is a gorgeous, sandy and gentle entry into the sea.
Food Turkish standard, vegetables, fish like mackerel every day, all sorts of chicken with vegetables, fruits - watermelon, peaches, plums.
What I didn’t like is that the staff, with a shaking hand, puts you two grapes, or a piece of bread on a plate, as if you didn’t pay for your vacation, but came to eat personally.
Well, maybe this is how the pandemic affected)
Animation no, very sluggish. Almost no one knows Russian, even at the reception there is only one Russian-speaking girl.
In general, it’s a good four, of course, as we paid 136 thousand - this is very expensive for such a hotel, if there was a choice (this year half of the hotels are stupidly closed) - I would not have bought it for this money in my life.
Summarizing, you can go here for cheap, the sea is a three-minute walk away, and you won’t stay hungry. For other money - look better.
But . . Upon arrival, they offered breakfast (no one was left hungry). The room was settled immediately after the meal until 11:00 - 4th floor. Yes, they speak Russian rather poorly, but all issues were resolved without a cut. Please give additional pillow satisfied immediately. The room was clean and cleaned regularly. Food for every taste and the children and we were satisfied - did not go hungry. On the beach, pizza, hamburgers (made by yourself))), etc. . The choice of one of the restaurants: Turkish, fish and Italian. Were in Italian - super! but for dessert the children did not have enough space)))).
The road to the sea does not take much time on foot, 2-3 minutes in a waddle, and on a typewriter that travels regularly - less than a minute, they spotted. There are no foreign smells, well, except if you sniff very hard and only in one place.
The beach is clean, there were always enough sun loungers, one really MINUS - the entrance to the sea - stones. At first, sand - stones - sand. Algae was only on the first day. This did not prevent going to the sea every day, children diving.
The territory is not large, clean, slides, three pools (one paddling pool). Wi-Fi in the room is weak, in the lobby and on the corridor - excellent.
We were happy with our vacation!
There were no recent reviews of the hotel on Russian-language sites at the time of the tour purchase due to the fact that the Novapark Hotel had previously worked with foreign tourists, mainly from Germany. Probably, like most hotels in the vicinity of Side, so chosen by the Germans. Hence all the information on the hotel premises in Turkish, English and German. This year the situation has changed radically and a stream of tourists from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus has simply poured into Novapark. Children especially like it, as there is no language barrier and they immediately find friends.
The hotel is located in the village of Kumkö y, so in the evening if you want to fuss, you can go shopping.
A little about the flight. When buying a tour, we immediately took a regular flight from Turkish Airlines with night flights. And as a result, no flight delays reported in the latest news, and a full 13 days. We arrived at the hotel at 10 am and had breakfast. After that, we changed clothes and went to the pool to wait for the room to be ready. The flight home was at 23.30, so we left the hotel after dinner at 20.00.
The room was ready at 12 am. However, he did not fit because of its location (the last floor and the view on the opposite side from the sea, on the road). After contacting the receptionist, we were kindly provided with a view of the pool on the formal 1st floor. Why formal? Because from the pool from -1 floor it was really necessary to climb 3 floors up. Family room, two rooms, one of which is walk-through. Enough furniture, two TVs. There is a kettle, cups, instant coffee and tea bags. The fridge was filled daily with water bottles. The only weak point is the bathroom, where a narrow glass partition separates the shower from the toilet. So narrow that the entire floor was constantly flooded with water after taking a shower.
The main pool is in the form of a three-petal flower, in the middle with an island and bridges. A small paddling pool for very young children, located next to the playground and miniclub. Another small pool with 2 slides, which worked for two hours before and after lunch. There are quite enough sun loungers, with mattresses. We spent time on the beach until lunch, stayed by the pool in the afternoon and always found free places, despite the fact that many of the sun loungers were occupied by "specially gifted".
The main restaurant is large, there are many tables, 2.4 and 6 seaters. There are tables on the street, but they are not very comfortable due to stuffiness. Everything is good with food, meat, fish, fruits, ice cream, juices in packages. Three a la carte restaurants by appointment. Bar in the lobby, where there are always sweets; a bar by the pool, where in the afternoon, in addition to the standard service, gozleme, donuts, and potatoes were prepared; a bar on the beach where you can eat at lunchtime without returning to the hotel.
The hotel is on the second line from the sea, no more than 5 minutes on foot. For the lazy or tired, there is a shuttle with very frequent regularity. The weak point of the hotel is the beach. More precisely, the entrance to the sea, where shapeless boulders come across under your feet, a meeting with which guarantees you at least bruises. However, if you go 50-100 meters to the left or right, then you can normally go in and swim. Which is what we did. The sea itself is shallow and calm, a great option for families with small children. Those who love deep water will be bored and not interested. There are also plenty of sun loungers on the beach. Before lunch, you can entertain yourself with bocci or volleyball on the beach of the neighboring hotel. Own volleyball court is located on the territory of the hotel, next to the miniclub.
Animation at the hotel is represented by guys from Turkey, who have nothing to do with Russian. They communicate in German and English. Lifesaver - Elena from children's animation, a very friendly and benevolent girl from Ukraine. But is it really a problem - the lack of knowledge of foreign languages, if you are fluent in sign language))). Animators do their job, it seemed to me, very well.
There is a taxi and dolmush (minibus) stop next to the hotel, it takes 7-10 minutes to go to Side, about 15 minutes to Manavgat. The cost of dolmush is 1 dollar / person.
In general, the hotel justifies its cost and can satisfy many tourists. I can safely recommend it for a holiday.
