The cleaners, by the way, do not understand Russian at all. The girl who cleaned our room did not understand a word of English either. I didn’t even take dirty towels from the room (they lay on the floor for several days until the departure). Although the swans on the bed folded ??? ? (left twice for $ 1, then stopped). He asked her to wipe the floor (there was sand on the floor from the very check-in) - and they lived the whole rest as it is, did not interrogate, washed it only in the bathroom (although he showed his hands on his fingers, I thought I understood... ). The mattresses on the beds are dead, the springs are so noisy that when you lie down, you are afraid that they can get out of the mattress and stick into you??? ? The heated towel rail on the balcony is plastic and extremely unreliable, half broken from time to time (the plastic naturally cracked). Therefore, it is very inconvenient to dry something, and it does not withstand towels at all. We, like most guests, dried them right on the railings on the balconies...
The sand and pebble beach here is also a rather controversial pleasure, I hoped to get used to it, but on the 3rd day my feet were already “burning” from small pebbles, it was simply unrealistic to walk far along the coastline (like on a granite crumb)... Of course, you can walk and swim in special beach shoes, which many do, but I personally want to go barefoot on vacation, because. feet are steamed in shoes for a whole year, and this is simply good for health. Fortunately, on the 4th day of rest there was a tide and the water level rose a little as ordered, so for a couple of days we were happy to walk along the sand quite far in both directions. And a couple of days later, the water level dropped again, and again "exposed" the pebbles of the coastline. The waves were also different every day, the sea was either calm or stormy, so much so that it was not easy for an adult strong person to get in and out, not to mention children and the elderly. Here I do not mean that this is a disadvantage, but simply pointing it out for information. In general, we saw such a different sea and coast in a few days on vacation for the first time, it was interesting.
We did not go on excursions, we just wanted to sunbathe and lie down on the sea. I also note the inconvenient time for issuing beach towels, already mentioned in the reviews, from 9 to 11 in the morning. Having breakfast from 7 to 8, we went to the beach in the morning without waiting for the opportunity to change towels. So we ended up with one set for the whole holiday. I think that at least half of the guests do the same. From other vacationers, they heard that they could hear the pump running in their room at night, and also that they had never seen a line in the dining room for hot drinks anywhere else. Which we also witnessed, periodically at lunch and during dinner, albeit for a short time.
A couple of times there was a feeling that the hotel was overcrowded, in terms of the fact that the number of guests in the restaurant (dining room) exceeded the number of vacationers in the hotel for a comfortable meal at the same time. There is nothing to reproach the waiters here, they tried their best and "rustled" like bees. We also heard reproaches from people with preschool children about the lack of cereals and difficulties with the children's kitchen. I can’t say anything here, except that we saw rice porridge a couple of times (and only that), and it was easier for us without children in this regard. We could always find something to eat and were very pleased with the cuisine.
They tried not to pay attention to the special attitude towards the Germans, about which a lot has already been written, but when during the gala dinner one of the waiters took us from the table (3 companies were sitting, from Russia and Belarus, only 7 people with us ) salt and pepper and napkins, it was not very pleasant. Of course, we have already eaten, but this is the first time I have seen...
Regarding the shows that were shown in the evenings, I don’t want to find fault, but at times they seemed to us very “long”, we liked only a few, so we didn’t go to them much. Moreover, the balcony of our room just overlooks the stage at one end and, if desired, we could watch them from afar, right from there.
Summarizing my review, I can say that the service of this hotel, unfortunately, left a rather negative impression.
The main disadvantages are very old mattresses, a broken heated towel rail on the balcony, issues with water and room cleaning. There were other nuances. Not everyone will like the sand and pebble beach, and it greatly depends on the sea level, as you get there, it can be very uncomfortable for someone without special shoes.
I liked the variety of cuisine familiar from hotels of this level, the dining room staff works very quickly, well done! The main advantage of the hotel is a very beautiful area, not very big, but very comfortable. Wherever you stand, you can do a photo session everywhere, the eye rejoices at all this to look at, amateur gardeners will be delighted!
Unfortunately, we have no desire to return to this hotel, may you have better luck if you decide to go there. The air conditioner in the room blows directly on one of the beds, so you need to be very careful with it and with cold water, otherwise you risk remembering for a long time not only the beauty of the hotel's fauna, but also the subsequent antibiotic treatment of a severe cold, be healthy!
In the evenings, concerts and activities for children were organized.
1. Sea in 10 min. walk along the picturesque alley. Own beach with a bar.
2. Green area, including balconies in the rooms.
3. A hotel for a relaxing holiday, without night discos and noise from nearby areas.
4. Good quality food with decent variety.
5. With full occupancy, there are always enough sunbeds both by the pool and on the beach. There is also enough food for everyone.
6. The presence of adult animation, incl. Russian-speaking both during the day and in the evening.
7. The presence of children's animation - 2 times for 2 hours during the day and an evening disco.
8. Rooms with excellent condition of furniture and plumbing. Everything looks well maintained and fairly new. Mitsu inverter condo in every room.
8. Availability of nearby shops and pharmacies for urgent purchases.
9.7 km from the resort - the city of Manavgat with retail outlets and a market for local residents (in terms of prices). Buses are running.
10. Cleaning in the rooms every day is quite high quality.
11. There is a separate pool for children with a couple of small slides.
12. Nearby is a picturesque lake with a well-groomed embankment.
13. There is an official opportunity to change the number to another one (according to your preferences, subject to availability) for 20 euros.
14. The staff is friendly, without a pronounced division of guests into nationalities (mostly Germans, Poles and Russians have a rest).
Cons (taking into account the low price for the tour):
1. Only one person speaks Russian at the reception, i. е. There are times when no one understands Russian there. Moreover, one of the employees is very annoyed when they do not understand him - they need to be changed.
2. You need to take towels from the SPA, they don’t give out on the beach, although there is an opportunity to organize this.
3. WiFi is paid everywhere. The way out is to buy a local SIM card in Manavgat (they are not sold in the resort area).
4. The safe is paid, but there is no particular need for it, it will be successfully replaced by a suitcase with a code.
5. The billiard table stands with an inclination, the balls roll by themselves-). With a table like this, it should be free.
Well, I want to turn to parents so that when eating, they watch their children, who walk and grab food with their hands, and then change their minds and put it back. Sometimes even adults suffer from this. I have witnessed such things. And so there are legends about poisoning in hotels...
Here, vegetation in the form of petunias covered the walls and balconies, and on the territory there are lemons, pomegranate trees and banana trees - for the first time I saw the flowering of these trees..... A wonderful playground with exercise equipment and swings.... Two pools with a water slide - the place of accumulation of all the kids especially enjoyed the success of the children . .
The contingent is 90% Germans, who seem to have settled in this hotel and are on the rights of permanent residents. In previous reviews I read about a special attitude towards the Germans - yes, there is a special attitude towards them from the side of the waiters, but as the guide told us during the tour, the Germans here are simply permanent residents, namely the residents of the hotel....their habits, humor, the tastes are well known to the waiters and all the staff speak german, but that doesn't mean anything if you are russian. I saw it....If you are a well-mannered person, they notice you and show attention and respect.....
Meals can be said to be 5 times a day, because in addition to breakfast, lunch and dinner, you can always find something on the territory - from snacks to fruits, drinks of decent quality - hardware hot chocolate, coffee, cappuccino and cookies with biscuits..... Fresh -on request for breakfast. Fruits - watermelons, melons, apricots and oranges - constantly, grapefruits and nectarines - sometimes, always canned fruits for breakfast...... We also rested in 5 * hotels - the main difference from them is a more modest amount of meat dishes from whole meat, but abundant food always goes sideways....you gain weight. There is enough of everything and everything is cooked perfectly.
The only negative of our room was that our balcony hung over the courtyard restaurant, where hot snacks were prepared in the evening hours under the open sky, which made it impossible for us to enjoy the sea air.... The first desire was to change the room, but the beauty of the courtyard held back and the lack of free rooms even at this time of the year immediately reassured us..... and we got used to it and tried to be outside the room at that time...
There was plenty of entertainment for the kids, from the mini club. . to the exercise machines on the playground, table tennis.... and everything that everyone could find for themselves here. WI-FI - only paid, the sea is 350 m from the hotel, but a walk along the central alley did not upset us, because everything was within our center of civilization - this is a pile of shops, travel companies, a lake located along the coastline and hotels that adorned central embankment. The beach is decent, the entrance to the sea was excellent for me - sand and good depth, clear and warm water. But I didn’t wait for my favorite calm... almost all the time there was a wave... light... and a breeze... probably this is a feature of June... But the climate is amazingly comfortable, unlike Alanya and Kemer ! ! So, if you evaluate the hotel, then for the four -10-point rating! We handed over our grandson to the matchmakers, who came and continued their vacation with their grandson. So their 5 * hotel did not impress us with its scale - our Venus conquered us with its homeliness and impeccable service....
The hotel guide, the elusive JO, is a beautiful girl, unobtrusive, but very rarely caught our eye.......we were looking for..... we found, but received little information from her... If we were for the first time, we could take offense at the tour operator....There is someone to compare with - only knowledge of local features from the experience of previous travels helped...
