We chose a quiet (chamber) hotel, with normal service and food, and within walking distance to historical sites.

The Sun Beach Park & SPA 4 * hotel approached us according to these criteria. The check-in went very quickly and we received the key to room A 408, this is a family two-room suite (Femily) of a corner location (the bedroom window overlooked the pool of the Side Star Park 5 * hotel, and the living room balcony overlooked the wall of the building B of the hotel, although you could see a little from the side sea). Under the balcony there were kitchen air conditioners which were noisy but no noise was heard with the door closed. According to the voucher, we were booked a Standard class room, and we were settled in the best room without any additional payments. THIS IS VERY PLEASANTLY SURPRISE!! ! They explained that the standard rooms are all occupied.
The hotel has one five-story building divided into three buildings A, B, C - there are three elevators, in building A - mostly family rooms, in building B - standard and economy rooms, building C - standards (but worse). Each building has its own swimming pool and recreation area.

The room was renovated (good repair and fairly new furniture), everything worked, plumbing in perfect order. , safe for free. TV showed German, Polish and 4 Russian channels. The flooring is laminate. Slippers were provided, which was nice.

The room was cleaned daily, but there was not always a wet cleaning, however, 1.5 l - water and shampoos were replenished daily. Towels were changed as needed. Bed linen was changed once in 8 days of stay. The service is prompt, when we had a tap in the washbasin dripping, the manager at the reception (who put us in the room earlier) called a plumber in front of me and he immediately replaced the entire tap with a new one.
I've never experienced this kind of attitude in other hotels...

The food at the hotel should be noted as good. Breakfast is standard - cheeses, sausages, vegetables, pastries (delicious), several stewed vegetables, scrambled eggs, pancakes, etc. For lunch, in addition to raw vegetables, various stuffed peppers, etc. , there were always soups, 3-4 types of meat (chicken, turkey, beef) and fish dishes, side dishes for every taste, desserts - a huge selection, fruits - there were apples, plums, watermelon, grapes, oranges, gray fruit. Drinks: tea, coffee from the machine, yupi, fanta, cola, sprite. From alcoholic: red and white wine (sour - not for everyone), Effes beer, brandy, vodka, gin (you can drink). Other drinks (cocktails, Turkish coffee, fresh) for an additional fee.

For dinner: grilled meat or fish was added, mussels stewed with vegetables were given twice. Everything is very tasty!!!

Yes, and despite the pandemic, the hotel provides buffet meals - without individual distribution and queues.
Only there is a question of free tables, which is solved by the arrival an hour after the start of the meal.

The hotel is constantly occupied at about 80% - a large number of Germans, there are Poles, Russians and Ukrainians. The contingent of age, mostly - 60+. Until 2019, the hotel accepted only Germans, so the service staff strained with the Russian language, but you can explain yourself in broken English.

The bottleneck of the hotel is the beach. Yes, it is not very far away, 5-7 minutes walk, but there are only about 100 sunbeds on the main beach, which are engaged from early morning (6-7 am), although there is also an additional beach (250 meters to the right to the local gendarmerie building), there a little more than 100 sunbeds, which after 10 am are also all filled. Sunbeds, umbrellas, mattresses on the beaches are free, but beach towels cost $ 3, so it's better to take your own. With a large occupancy of the hotel, the issue of the beach is an edge and the owners need to solve it in the future ...
The sea is excellent - clean, the coast is sandy, the entrance is gentle and convenient for children, the depth begins - about 20 meters from the coast.

Well, perhaps that's all. Wi-Fi in the lobby is free, but weak, available in the rooms, but for a fee. There is no animation at all in this hotel, but we didn’t need it, in addition, every evening through the window we listened and watched live concerts from the neighboring five through the bedroom window.

Near the hotel there is a promenade (quay) with bars, restaurants and shops. Migros, Waikiki and a large shopping center are very close by. To the old (antique) city along the embankment is just over 1 kilometer (20 minutes at a leisurely pace).

A hotel for a relaxing and measured family vacation. Young people will probably be bored here.

We enjoyed our holiday in general. We will probably come to the hotel again, if there is a good offer for the price ...I am attaching a photo of the hotel (room).

The hotel is good, but it will be boring for young people, the animation is rare, the slide is 1 and that is small. Room cleaning is not chic, I never saw a swan for 8 days, although I left it for tea every day. In the mini-bar, only 1.5 liters of water daily and that's it : ( the snack bar does not shine with an assortment, although it is tasty there.
Beach... Mmmm... Don't even go to the nearest one, don't spoil your mood, they don't give you towels on the beaches, but they also kick you out at the nearest one if you see that you took a towel from the room, and there are no places even at 7 in the morning, on the far side near the gendarmerie - there is always a place, really always, and the employee there doesn’t care what kind of towel you have (there is no bar on the beach, but the man from the hotel pours water and soda for free).
Check-in is always strictly at 14:00 for those who arrive in the morning. The staff speaks average Russian. Spa cool program for 20 bucks direct advise! Antique Side at least 15 minutes on foot, very beautiful, especially in the evening. A separate guide sold excursions well, although the departure time is let's say in Demre at 3 am, and you will find out about this the day before the trip, again, it's worth it!
Overall impression 7/10 would go back maybe but life is short not to try something new. Have a nice trip.

We booked 2 double standards. We stopped at this hotel, because it is the smallest of those offered, oriented towards the Germans, thinking that there would not be many people, and the service is correspondingly European, not far from the sea, although not the first line. Focused on reviews, mostly positive. The price was average at the level of 4-star hotels, it dropped a little more when we booked. Tour operator Anextour.
We arrived at the hotel around 9:00. morning. They didn’t settle right away, citing the fact that the rooms had not yet quit. We were immediately invited to breakfast. As usual in such cases, we left our things in the luggage room at the reception and after breakfast went to the beach. We knew that there are two beaches of our hotel. The nearby beach was full. Also, the beds are at close range, violating quarantine requirements.
There we were sent to the far one, which we did not find, there was no sign anywhere (it is, but it is visible from the other side, when you return back, and do not go from the hotel).
Already after 14:00 we were given one room in building B on the 2nd floor, the second - in building A on the 5th floor. But the first one turned out to be with one double bed, although we immediately noted that we needed two separate beds, because we are not relatives. When we were indignant that this number did not suit us, they offered a neighboring one, who had quit a long time ago. The reception does not understand English well, so we had to wait half a day in vain.

Settlement in the room: it is known that this is a kind of roulette, how lucky. The reviews wrote that it is better to settle in the building, but not on the ground floor. As a result, we were settled, as we asked, in building B on the second floor, but ...with a balcony overlooking the restaurant. The noise from the hoods and the transformer is almost around the clock.
You can hear noisy companies sitting up late in the restaurant. There is no soundproofing, closed windows do not eliminate noise. The room is small, less than the declared 18 meters. We even thought it was economy. But our hotel guide assured that if there is a balcony, this is the standard. The mattresses on the beds are crushed - you immediately fall through and sleep like in a hole, and then your back starts to hurt. But it is clear that the renovation was recently, the rest of the furniture is new. We thought to ask to be moved, because the hotel is full, anyway we would have to wait a few days, and every morning to ask us to be moved. Room service is more or less normal, change towels every other day, bed once a week.
Our friends, who were accommodated in building A on the 5th floor, had a more spacious room, a large balcony, even a bay with a piece of the sea is visible from it, and silence at night. Only the furniture is not new. Therefore, it is not necessary to argue that building "B" is better than "A".
The atmosphere in the hotel at that time was completely opposite to what we read in the reviews before the trip. The hotel was filled with tourists from Russia by more than 90%. But there were few Germans. The staff is not prepared to work in the extreme conditions of the invasion of the Russians, and it was sorely lacking. This is especially noticeable when serving through a window in a restaurant.

Restaurant. At breakfast on the distribution is 2 people for 8 showcases. Constant queues, crowds, crowds, quarrels. Of course, no one keeps their distance. , it's simply not possible. The staff calmly observes, serves without accelerating. A particularly large queue is created for tea, coffee and drinks. The coffee from the machine is not good. Little is poured into tea leaves, more water is not taken into account at the request to make strong tea. Whereas the bar, where you can drink natural coffee / tea, is open from 11 am.
And for those who like fried eggs, scrambled eggs or pancakes for breakfast, they start frying after 8 am, when most people could already have breakfast and go to the beach. In this case, the queue is created even at the time of preparation for frying and moves very slowly.
So a full breakfast often had to be abandoned in favor of the beach. Also, for lunch, they are forced to choose what to stand for in the first place, and not necessarily for the rest. Or, as an option, come towards the end of lunch, but then you will eat what is left. The attitude towards saving goods is felt in everything. A request to add a piece of meat or even a spoonful of mashed potatoes usually causes dissatisfaction among the staff at the distribution, as well as with fruits and other things, except maybe greens. That is, food according to the “all inclusive” system has been turned into a system of “what you will interrogate” (or what you will get).
Of course, this causes indignation of people, especially Russians, in their characteristic boorish form, they also paid for all inclusive, but are forced to stand in several lines in a row, and even beg for their own food.
As for the quality of food, at the beginning of a few days since we arrived, all the food was completely non-existent, somewhere after a few days we noticed how everything changed and became quite tasty, then it got worse again. Probably, these are different shifts of cooks, because we heard that the staff works in shifts. But it's good that none of us got poisoned.

We went only to the far beach - opposite the gendarmerie. At least there were free sunbeds before 8 o'clock. in the morning and it is a little more spacious, the distance between the sunbeds is more, but there is no bar on the beach. If you want water or coffee, you will have to go either to a bar on the nearby beach or to a hotel, and once again you can’t be back and forth in the heat, and you want to swim longer while the sea is still warm.
Also, the working beach with its fuss, to put it mildly, does not allow you to relax, then it cleans the mattresses, then rearranges the sunbeds, and right after 5 o'clock. at noon, he begins to collect mattresses, close umbrellas, showing with his whole appearance that it is time to get out of his territory.

Later we found out why the hotel was so crowded. Its owner has two hotels nearby, one on the first line of Sun Beach, which did not open this season, and everyone who booked it was settled in the second - Sun Beach Park. In addition, the owner gradually reduced the price of the hotel in order to fill it as much as possible and earn more during this incomplete season.

Regarding this hotel, the negative reviews turned out to be more true than the enthusiastic ones. Of course, this hotel is not the worst of those where we have been, but we don’t want to go there a second time. After two weeks of such a "rest" with constant "quests" in the dining room and chronic lack of sleep, we do not feel that we had a good rest.

The hotel is good for the money. There are large differences in the temperature of the water in the shower. The child cried every evening from such executions. No second room key. If one person is asleep, the other cannot leave and return. Not very good housekeeping. Like the floor is being washed, but the socks are immediately dirty. … More ▾ The hotel is good for the money. Linen for 2 weeks was changed 1 time when asked. Never got a new shower gel or shampoo. Sink, shower for 2 weeks was not washed even once. Loud music coming from next door. The beach is very small. If you do not come early in the morning, then there are almost no places. There is no space at all between beds.
From the pros, good food, very helpful staff (although they don’t have very good English), close to the beach, not noisy.
But the main thing is that now 15 people have already fallen ill in the hotel with a viral intestinal infection on 17.10 (these are only those that we know about). The hotel manager denies this fact, and the number of cases is growing. Good thing it's the end of the season. If the same thing happened in summer, there would be an infirmary here. The attitude of the staff to this problem crosses out everything. We were in the hospital with the whole family.

The transfer from the airport took an hour and a half. In fact, it takes about 40 minutes to drive, but on the way both ways, the Turks always deliver to shops, and on our route, Sun Beach Park was one of the last stops.
We lived there for 7 nights. In general, I liked everything, a solid four, both in terms of stardom and personal impression. Now the details.
Walk to the sea 4 minutes. There are 2 swimming pools on the territory of the hotel, one of which is hidden from general visibility - they learned about its existence on the last day. Near it there is also a paddling pool for children. There is table tennis, a gym (of course, I never went there).
The kitchen does not shine with abundance, but you will not stay hungry either. Every day, different meats are fried outside the buffet, and they also make delicious pizza in the oven. There were strawberries a couple of times (out of season, probably more often in summer) - of course, Russian aunts 50+ picked it up with a slide. Nearby there are shops - for 10 lira we took a kilo.
For drinks: 4 juices (concentrate with water, pineapple is quite for itself, the rest are bodyaga), a coffee machine for 8 positions, a lot of tea bags of all kinds, light beer - apparently a local effect, white wine (there seems to be no red), vodka, raki, gin . Whiskey on "all inclusive" is not included, only for an additional fee.
The staff is funny - half of them don't speak any language other than Turkish and are notably stupid: every day they explained anew on their fingers how to pour gin and cola and not forget ice, lemon and a straw. The other part understands English or even speaks German. Most of the tourists, by the way, are from Germany, ours are in second place.
Until 17 o'clock near the beach there is a bar, which is also poured. That is, you do not have to run far for drinks.
On cleaning: in the first days it was very clean. Apparently influenced by the left dollar. Then they tried less, they didn’t always put shampoo (not a problem, they had their own), and on the last day they forgot about towels. Every day put a bottle of water 1.5 liters.
The room has a free safe, a hair dryer, a small refrigerator, a small TV, wi-fi for money (they didn’t take it, they used the free network in the hotel lobby - it catches only from below, the video will slow down, it can withstand calls via whatsapp), a balcony with places for drying , 4 sockets, wardrobe and 10 hangers.
There are many cats in the area. They don't eat some sausage.
They will also constantly offer massage - we did not take it.
In general, a good impression.

On Saturdays, there is a market at the Side Mosque (Fatih Cami), which is popular with tourists and locals. There is no territory in the hotel. The hotel consists of two buildings (A and B), two swimming pools. Each building has its own swimming pool. Building A has two swimming pools - for children and for adults. There are no water slides. There are sun loungers and umbrellas. Everything is free. I personally did not swim in the pools. I think it's better to swim in the Mediterranean. My wife and mother-in-law went for a swim in the pool in the evening after 4:00 pm. My son and I only went to the sea. Beach shared with guests of the hotel "Sun Beach Hotel", 3 *, on the first line. The beach is very small and very narrow. There are a lot of vacationers. I recommend borrowing sunbeds in the morning, as very smart tourists did. On the beach you can take drinks at the bar of the hotel "Sun Beach Hotel", 3 *. ONLY from 10:00 BEER, soft drinks and water, coffee. I spoke only in Turkish. In Turkey for the third time and therefore prepared. The flight our family also carried out on "TURKISH AIRLINES" back and forth. My son and I visited the ancient city of Side, the tourist information center of Side, which is located next to the ancient city. We visited the Side Museum. Entrance ticket per person 10 Turkish Lira. On the observation deck, we admired the peacocks that walk among the artifacts. Check out the amphitheatre. Entrance ticket per person 20 Turkish Lira. We visited the ruins of the temple of Apollo and the ruins of the temple of Athena, the ruins of the Bishop's palace and the basilica, the monumental Nymphaeum fountain, watched how Turkish archaeologists excavate in ancient Side. We sailed on a yacht in the Mediterranean. We visited the neighboring city of Manavgat, walked along the main street and reached the mountain river Manavgat. We sat on a dolmush and drove to the Manavgat waterfall. We visited the park. The entrance fee per person is 5 Turkish Liras. The hotel rooms are excellent, consisting of two rooms. Floor pokratie tile. Balcony. The bedroom has a double bed, air conditioning, two bedside tables, telephone. Each bedside table has a night lamp. Opposite the bed is a large mirror with a table and a chair under it. In the adjoining room there is a table, a folding sofa, a refrigerator, a TV with a bedside table, three chairs, one armchair, a wardrobe. The closet has a safe with a key. Every day they brought 1.5 liters of drinking water. There is no tea and cafe set. We took a small teapot Tefal Travel City with two cups and spoons. Tea and coffee were purchased at the "MIGROS JET" store on Ataturk Blv. The bathroom has a shower, hair dryer. Soap, shampoo, shower gel replenished every day. Towels were changed every three days. Two face towels, two body towels, one foot towel. There were two shower caps. Toilet paper was replenished regularly. Room cleaning is good. Very friendly staff did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. A lot of Germans of different ages stayed with us at the hotel. There were also couples with children from both Germany and the Russian Federation. We have not seen any Coxsackie virus in anyone. I repeat that the hotel rested a lot of families with children of different ages. Diverse food. There were a lot of vegetables, fruits - pear, plum, nectarine, watermelon, oranges, apples, grapes (both white and red). Cooked pasta, spaghetti, vegetable dishes, mushrooms (mainly champignons). In the mornings, they cooked an omelet, scrambled eggs by the pool of building B, where the restaurant is. A very friendly Turkish lady. In the evenings, the cook's guys cooked liver and sausage on the grill. Once there was a lovely tuna. I've tried fried anchovies a few times. Sweets are just a huge selection. For breakfast there were dried fruits - figs, dried apricots, raisins. There were peaches, apricots and cherries in syrup. All kinds of jams in disposable packages, tartlets, rose jam, several types of jam that I did not have time to try. For lunch, soup is always mashed potatoes. Wine white and red, brandy (both with ice and without ice), beer. That's all I've had time to try. The bartender in the main restaurant understands and speaks a little Russian. The restaurant has a coffee machine, black tea in teapots, Lipton tea bags, titans with boiling water, a water cooler. We did not notice any shortcomings, since we came to rest, and not to look for shortcomings.

The hotel is normal, just for 4 stars. I did not notice anything unusual, but nothing bad or negative in the hotel itself. The territory is small, the whole is actually occupied by a pool, sunbeds, tables. No animation, but that's also ok for a 4 star. It should be noted that we were a little amused - a good Turkish night, discos by the pool.
The room is standard with all the relevant pluses. However, there are negatives: water does not drain well from the shower tray, from time to time there is a stale unpleasant smell in the bathroom and, importantly, the air conditioner blows directly onto the bed. I had to turn it off at night, open the door to the balcony, it did not help much. And there is only one Russian-language program on TV - RTR Planet, not enough. And at least one Ukrainian one was set up.
The food and service at the hotel is excellent, the staff is pleasant. About food - a separate conversation - a varied menu, a large selection, desserts - no question, delicious. The towels in the rooms were changed every day.
Didn't like and even pissed off - it's a beach. It is for two related hotels, small, so the sunbeds are almost close to each other. Okay, we got used to it. But the attendant on the beach is engaged in small business - he “fills” places in the morning, and then allocates them to tourists for money. It is unpleasant. And the worst thing is that on the border of the beach, right in the sand, there are two pipes, from which some kind of water flows from the side of the city. At first it seemed to be nothing, even the children crawled around in it, and then such a smell rushed from that ravine that we fled to the other side of the beach. I didn't like it very much.

On Saturday there was a mini show with fireworks and ice cream. Drinks at the bar: good beer, but red wine was not appreciated, cola, Fanta, sprite, tonic, coffee. Bar on the beach from 11 to 17. In the morning, fried eggs were fried for those who wished, for lunch and dinner, grilled turkey, chicken, fish, meat. The hotel has a sauna, hammam, gym, but it was empty. I consider the lack of weights to be one of the shortcomings (it's a joke), although I do not exclude their presence in the gym. In general, I really liked everything. The service is excellent, the sea is warm.

Hello. I would like to know about the availability of animation (for children and adults). And the umbrellas and sunbeds on the beach are free or not.
