Very beautiful territory, palm trees interspersed with pine trees, a large swimming pool and several small ones near the bungalows. Animation during the day, every evening a party or someone performs, and at a good level, and not a local karaoke. Dance groups are invited. Loyal staff. All day long they are fed at different locations. Morning and lunchtime food is sufficient but limited selection. In the morning, eggs in different versions; in the afternoon, there are meat, chicken, beef, fish. Dinner is good. Sweets, as always in Turkey, are their feature.
About not very good.
Old hotel 30 years old. Bungalow amenities are worse than in the central building. We were put in a room with an old broken air conditioner, an old TV, cabinets, probably 20 years old. The walls are stoned, worn out. But, they changed the plumbing, new floors and beds are normal.
An hour later, the condo leaked, poured a puddle and we asked to be relocated. Moved to the central building for 90 euros in a deluxe. But, there is another trouble. Air conditioning, although central, is also not new, noisy, you can’t sleep. They opened the windows, overlooking the courts, it seems quiet, but even then, kapets, at 5-6 in the morning and until 9, cars, garbage cars, with products are being loaded into the technical yard. Start cutting the grass, etc. I have never seen such a thing in a hotel, that they did not let me sleep.
The sea-entrance is rocky, even 100 m. There are large stones from the beach, who likes to dive, you need to be careful. There is only a forest nearby, there are no shops, but everything is in the hotel. You have to drive to the city.
In general, everything is like everywhere else in 5 * for a relaxing holiday. The Germans gathered for live music and pop music, but I didn’t see the discos, the music didn’t reach the room, that is. We just wanted to relax and we did. We went to the evening children's shows - clowns, Chinese circus...
There was a good sofa in the room and dad ran away from us there when the little one climbed up to me at night (she gets very excited in her sleep)). I liked the number.
The food is varied as everywhere. It was a fish day with shrimp.
In general, ask what is important to you. I will answer.
Wi-Fi in the room is quite good.
Food is great, drinks too.
The animation team is also very good.
If something does not suit you - there are few towels in the room, few cards for beach towels were issued, go to the reception, the issue will be resolved very quickly.
The beach is sandy - there is a place for children to play pastas, there are a lot of sunbeds.
The main contingent - the Dutch and Germans. There is a flawed practice of occupying sunbeds with towels and things. But there are really a lot of sunbeds - both in the garden under the trees and on the beach and on the pier.
Of the nuances - the safe is paid, take small euros with you, except for dollars, because. and at the hotel payment for services in euros and local taxi drivers charge in euros for the trip - so as not to overpay at the "local" overpriced cross-rate. In Manavgat, prices for clothes are lower than in Side.
In general, the hotel is cool, there are a lot of animators from Ukraine, great girls, the mini-club is just a bomb, there was nothing like this anywhere, but we saw a lot (until 10 p. m. not a single mini-club worked, and here there is always an animator in a mini-club on duty). club and a lot of toys, board games, various swings, slides, huge balls, cars, etc. ).
In the water park on the highest slide, in order to move down faster, you need to drive a couple of meters down - stop, resting your hands and feet on the walls of the pipe, then turn sideways and block the flow of water, forming a "dam", and then, as the water arrives normally and starts to pour over you - turn around and sit very strongly pushing from the walls and this stream carries you already at such a good speed)))))
In a restaurant, it is better to speak Russian to the waiters, because. they are english know poorly, mainly focused on the Germans and the Dutch.
P. S. when we were leaving, I forgot my backpack and didn’t notice it, they called the security at the entrance from the reception, stopped the bus, sent an electric car that brought me a backpack. Thank you very much for the rest and for the service!
Due to the events in Egypt, the hotel was as full as ever, and we did not immediately get a place in our favorite block. But thanks to the Russian-speaking girl Valeria from the reception, she did everything possible: first she found the most comfortable room in the main building, and as soon as the room appeared where we wanted, she moved us.
Due to the overcrowding of the hotel, there were noticeably more people in the restaurant than in previous years, but this cannot be attributed to the hotel’s shortcomings (remember what horror was happening at the airport, and representatives of all nations, and not just Russians, boiled in this horror).
Otherwise, everything was fine, as in our previous visits. Pine trees are in place, flowering bushes are in place, thick scoop butterflies flutter over the flowers, the attendants do a great job. The rooms have been refurbished. Internet in the room is easy to catch. Cleaned up flawlessly.
In general, everything is fine for us personally, for lovers of a very relaxing holiday: there are enough quiet places where music and the voices of animators do not reach, there are plenty of free places by the sea, you don’t need to borrow anything in advance (I won’t say about the pool, we don’t like poolside, it’s noisy there, and we don’t understand at all why the pool is needed when there is the SEA). I don't know how like or dislike this hotel lovers of wild holidays. I know for sure that I won’t take my husband there, but he doesn’t like Turkey at all, he has nowhere to dive there... It’s ideal for my mother, Turkuaz was once recommended to us as a quiet green place.
The food is good. I am on a strict diet, and despite this, I was able to easily create a varied menu for myself, and my mother enjoyed it from the bottom of her heart, especially pleased with her huge shrimp, which were repeatedly served for dinner. And the bakery is amazing.
There is only one drawback, it is also common Turkish: bad tea. But this is not the hotel's fault.
There are stones in the sea, it is better to swim in slippers if you like to go from the shore.
My mother and I did not notice any negative attitude towards Russians. On the contrary, everyone was very attentive to their mother, an elderly woman. And the bulk of the guests in the hotel are older people. For them, everything is arranged with maximum convenience.
We will go again, of course. Why trade something good for the unknown.
In general, the only serious flaw was the very noisy Polish neighbors, who got drunk and spoke loudly and laughed until two in the morning, to the roar of overworked children. But, unfortunately, such a nuisance as vile people in the next room can happen anywhere.
The furniture in the room is a little old, there is an individual air conditioner, in general it is clean and tidy. Room cleaning on request, towels also changed on request.
The food in the main restaurant is very decent - there were always 3 types of side dishes - pasta, potatoes, rice, baked vegetables (zucchini, stuffed tomatoes, vegetable pancakes, 3 types of meat dishes and fish. Wonderful desserts, delicious cakes and of course baklava. On dinner, the assortment is wider, grilled dishes were included, which were prepared right there. Breakfast also pleased with the variety - cereals, porridge (though only oatmeal), scrambled eggs, etc. A lot of fruits - watermelons, melons, apples, peaches, bananas, plums, grapefruits, oranges And all this, of course, the freshest. There are packaged juices - apple, peach, tomato and cherry. Fresh is offered for a fee. Dinner is not allowed in flip flops and T-shirts, there is a dress code - a man was not allowed into the restaurant with bare shoulders. Minus of the main restaurant - The air conditioning does not work well, which is why it is hot.
There are 4 restaurants (Ala carte) - Chinese (we couldn’t rate it, because we mixed up the day of visiting (on vacation we lost count of days))), Turkish - we couldn’t rate the cuisine to the end - an open-air restaurant, and therefore visitors smoke, like locomotives, there is nothing to breathe. not bad - Italian, and a wonderful fish restaurant, especially the amazing fish kebab there.
We counted 4 pools - one of which is near blocks F, the second with slides - there are 3 of them - less scary, medium scary and very scary))) Water slides are made in the form of a cave in Kapodokia. Looks funny. The next indoor and outdoor pool (Relax pool) And the main pool, very beautiful, large, the main animation was carried out there.
There are bars on the territory of the hotel - a bar on the beach (they took ayran to the beach, not far from the embankment a cafe with national cakes (baked right there in front of you, pool bar, lobby bar, block F pool bar, mini club cafe - french fries are served, hamburgers, chicken, breadcrumbs, a cafe by the pool (I don’t remember the name) - a full meal, caravanserai - afternoon tea, coffee and other drinks with pastries.
The bars have an all-inclusive menu - whiskey, martini, wine - white, rose, red and something else, and a "paid" menu - where alcoholic drinks were offered for a fee - tequila, cognac, etc.
The beach is clean, sandy and pebbly, regularly cleaned, there are enough sunbeds, there is no need to borrow in advance. the entrance to the sea is decent, but there are sharp stones. a few meters from the shore there is a picturesque reef that you can admire. Two piers - one smaller, the other larger. A sea turtle swam up to the big one, eating algae. So fell in love with her. In general, there are a lot of sea turtles there, so you don’t have to spend money on a boat trip, it’s enough to sail away and they are easy to meet.
Water sports are a bit pricey, but if you order three types you can get a discount. There is a free diving course.
We walked along the shore to the old part of Side - we looked at the ruins, the famous "Amphitheater" (entrance 20 TL (namely TL! ) Per person, the temple of Apollo.
We went to the town of Manavgat - dolmushi - 15 minutes.
Shopping in Manavgat in the markets is not very good, prices are set in euros, and then converted to dollars. There is a bazaar, there is a market that comes on Mondays and Thursdays. The goods are not of very good quality, but for some reason the Germans buy clothes there very willingly.
animation is rather weak, is in German. The staff is smiling, friendly - everyone smiles, greets.
An atmosphere of peace and tranquility has been created.
In general, the rest was a success, we returned with a wonderful mood, we had a very good rest.
There are a lot of Europeans, the main part are Dutch, Belgians, Norwegians and a few Germans, Ukrainians and Russians.
For Europeans, many sunbeds are located near the pool and throughout the area on the grass. Free places can always be found near the pool and near the sea.
The only negative that upset us at the beginning of the holiday is the entrance to the sea. The entrance to the sea is sand, but there are also a lot of stones and not just pebbles, but sharp, not pleasant stones. We found the entrance more or less without stones to the right of the large pier (there are 2 of them). and algae also bothered every day, although they were removed in the morning, but still clung a little near the entrance, you can’t argue against nature! But after a couple of days they got used to it and no longer noticed these little things.
But several times from the pier we observed a huge sea turtle and thousands of fish!
Awesome territory, very green, the hotel itself is located in the forest, a lot of trees, bushes, flowers, the hotel literally smells sweet!
The food is excellent! Meat, fish dishes, a couple of times there were king prawns. Fruits, sweet - juicy watermelon and melon! Lots of sweets and awesome eclairs!! ! And ice cream for the kids day and night.
The atmosphere is pleasant, the animations are not bad, pleasant evenings with music. In general, everyone will find something interesting for themselves!
I liked the hotel very much, would love to go again!
