Yes, I will not argue that the hotel is "tiring", it immediately catches the eye right in the forehead - everything is quite simple, almost spartan. The description of the hotel states that it was built in 1994, but the feeling is 10 years earlier.
I completely disagree with the fact that the hotel is not cleaned - the bed, towels are changed every day, also cleaned. Everything is clean, white.
The rooms (we were in 350 - partial sea view) enough new furniture, new plumbing, TV and individual air conditioning. The old men are just tiles near the bathroom.
Nutrition - solid 4 out of 5 possible points.
There really were no croissants for breakfast - only their freshly baked buns, every morning they spread delicious pancakes, omelets, eggs, yogurt, a variety of cheeses, standard Turkish sausages, ham, sausage, a selection of olives, vegetables, halva, Turkish delight ... , there are worse, but almost as everywhere I would say).
Lunches and dinners are quite varied and delicious. Several types of meat are usually grilled and cooked (turkey, chicken, beef, lamb). Fish was not really served every day, but there was grilled mackerel and tuna steaks, once mussels and shrimp in sauce.
Maybe those who came to the closing of the restaurant did not get all this, I can not say, because we usually came to the opening.
Sweet - standard, Turkish (baklava only on weekends), delicious ice cream at the pool bar from 15:00 to 17:00. At the same time there are cakes and cupcakes. Gezlem in the beach bar from 12:00 to 16:00 (never tried - it was very hot at that time).
As for alcoholic beverages - the wine is quite average, immediate local bailiff. The man praised whiskey and beer (water and beer of their own production).
Quarantine measures were pressing at first, but then we adapted and did not pay attention. The waiters put in as much food as you ask for and ask for, you just need to make it clear what you want. If there is a queue, the number of staff increases somehow by itself.
The area is well-groomed and green, although not very large (before the quarantine you could use the infrastructure of the entire complex Sural, now everyone in his hotel).
The sea is 5 +++ here. Warm + 29-30 in mid-September (remember the fear of + 19-20 in mid-July in Ozder, when he forced himself to dive at least once a day into the water because he came to sea) !! ! The entrance is gentle, sandy. The beach is wide. Sunbeds are new and there are enough of them. You can lie down a little further from the beach - in the shade of palm trees, here are the sunbeds : -).
This year the hotel operates on the concept of 18+, no children, no big plus - if you do not have children. But I have never seen such a concentration of elderly people at sea. Animation ...well, every night at 21 there was a small show, at 16-00 - darts. On weekdays about 10-30 aqua aerobics. On the beach volleyball net - the players were every day… for me animation - the last thing I pay attention to.
Wi-Fi - only in the forehead, perhaps for the better: -)
What's more - the infrastructure nearby - well…. so-so - 500-700 meters from the Migros Hotel and small markets with the usual souvenir shop.
We went on a dolmus in Side - like the ruins - I advise ($ 1.5 travel from the hotel to the ancient Side), and were in the Mall of Side (for $ 1), you could go to Manavgat near Novamolla, but read that from the stop dolmusha need to walk another 20 minutes ...in the heat did not want to wander at night, too.
Between the hotels and the sea is a magnificent promenade, with benches, among a variety of greenery.
Took a small electric car and rode there, but walking was a pleasure!
IMNO - I liked the sea and the beach here the most of all the places in Turkey where I was. The hotel, for its money, is quite good, most importantly - in a great location, clean rooms and delicious food.
If you expect pomp or state-of-the-art refinement - you are not here, but if the priority is the sea, beach, hotel on the 1st line with normal food for adequate money - this is an immediate option!
Housekeeping - below any standards, rubbing the floors with a dirty cloth, generously sprinkled with caustic detergent, without the use of water. The smell is terrible, watery eyes. I had to wash off this soap myself with a towel so as not to suffer from allergies. The bed was changed 3 times in 15 days. Animation was every day, for 30-40 minutes. concerts, 4 times a decent program, the rest is very mediocre. There is no long promenade along the coastline, only enough for 10-15 minutes. walks. Drinks at the bar are not bad, good Turkish coffee.
Of the pluses, there are also a lot of fruits in the restaurant 3 times a day. Also of the pluses - the presence of a sauna and a hammam, a gym. Beach towels are changed every day according to the schedule. The pool is clean and there are plenty of sun loungers on the beach and by the pool.
The room was really SUPER. Large (there was also a sofa in addition to armchairs), clean... with a separate new air conditioner. The view from the balcony was of the sea and a distant hotel. The balcony is large, there were three chairs. The room was cleaned almost daily, changed towels, shampoos and replenished drinking water (Sural water).
The hotel itself is small and this is very good, because. there are no queues anywhere, not in the dining room (maximum two or three people for fried fish), not in the bar, not for ice cream, not on the beach. Many pensioners, both Germans and ours.
The hotel area is very clean, including the green area, constantly washed and cleaned. On the beach late in the evening they clean the garbage, clean the sand. And most importantly, everything is close to each other: a hotel, a beach with sun loungers and a beach restaurant. On the beach itself, you can play volleyball and boccia (playing with balls), an animator also comes and does gymnastics, yoga and gymnastics in the sea itself at certain hours.
The food is good, a wide variety of dishes (sausages and sausages, of course, not ice), but fish is constantly fried for dinner: dorado, trout, etc.
Meat was always turkey, chicken and lamb. Lots of greens, salads, sweets, fruits, etc. You will never leave hungry!
The service at the hotel is not bad, but if you give a tip (as the Germans do), then they bow in front of you and do everything with a smile, they will bring you Turkish coffee, drinks, and cocktails to a table in the bar. If you are greedy, then go to the bar yourself and get what you want (drinks and coffee). Alcoholic local, but quite acceptable (wine and beer), the rest I do not advise... although the Germans got drunk (that's right) to death with local strong drinks. We stocked up on alcohol at the Antalya airport and it was enough for us to drink good alcohol. It can also be purchased at local shops.
Not far from the hotel is the local Sural Bazaar. . . where you can buy souvenirs and all kinds of clothes. You can also go to Manavgat ($ 1.5 per person one way), stop next to the hotel. In Manavgat there are both large shops and bazaars, i. e. choose to your taste. You can also go to Side itself to see the ancient ruins of the Roman era.
We recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to relax and have a WELL, because here, in addition to the hotel, the beach and the sea are just SUPER!!!
Also we researched Sural hotels (Garden and Hotel) and we will say that our SURAL SARAY is much better!!!
The only bad thing is the animation in the evenings. . . but if you want to go to a disco in the evening. . . no problem. . . go to the Garden or the Hotel.
Thanks again for a great stay in Sural Saray!!!! ! We will definitely come back here again (value for money is superb).
The hotel is suitable for families. Friendly intelligent staff. The territory of the hotel is large, green, well-groomed. Wide sandy beach with a gentle entrance to the sea. Clean, well equipped (brand new modern sun loungers, showers, changing rooms, 2 bars), with daily towels.
The restaurant offers varied and delicious food, prepared with quality and offered from the heart. Without limitation, meat and fish: and tuna, and mussels, and other fish; turkey, lamb (even baked whole), various processing methods (stewing, baking, grilling). An abundance of fresh herbs, vegetables and fruits, various sauces and marinades. Great desserts.
A wonderful animation team that can offer entertainment not only for adults, but also for children (the work of a mini-club is organized: creative workshops, dance and game classes, discos). In the daytime, darts, table and tennis, water polo. And morning exercises and water aerobics with Tatyana are unforgettable - she is a professional fitness trainer and a wonderful person.
Daily - evening show at 21.00. All residents can enjoy an excellent show program prepared by animators, one of whom (the host) certainly has not only amazing male charisma, amazing plasticity and a sense of rhythm, but also mastered the skills of Indian yogis (lies on nails, glass, while holding onto 3 adult large men). I remember both the fire show and the cool foam party under the palm trees by the sea. Dj ugur, Ersat, Egemen, thanks guys!
The hotel has a spa and wellness area - a hammam, a sauna, massage rooms, and a gym. I note the work of masseur Erdogan - several sessions with him and the back "sighed", came to life. Erdogan is a professional, from the first minutes he diagnosed all my problems with the spine, skillfully worked with them (20 years of rehabilitation experience, there is something to compare with).
The Russian-speaking administrator of the hotel Tatyana always keeps her finger on the pulse - communication with her in the first days of her stay allowed us to quickly adapt, learn about the hotel's service, and resolve issues that arose.
We will definitely return to this hotel next year. We miss you already. . .
The room upon check-in was clean at first glance, the beds were moved and one of them was in a "drunk" state : ). the answer surprised me - "robes are personal items and they are not provided, but slippers were promised, BUT they were never given out. Of all the days, they didn’t clean it only once, but it’s hard to call cleaning - cleaning was" on top "in the corners the dust is centuries-old , the shower was washed, the towels were changed (every day), the shampoo was given out every day. The shower was not repaired from the day it was built, because the baseboards in the corners were already broken. The water was free and for the entire period of rest they brought three times in a package (this was more than enough) . For the safe had to pay $ 1 per day.
We caught the Internet in the room (and only in the lobby). The food was varied - anyone could find dishes to their liking (even milk rice porridge was for breakfast)
The biggest plus is the sea, the beach is wonderful, a good entrance to the sea, gently sloping, good sand. There were no problems with sunbeds and mattresses. I really liked the green area near the beach where you can sunbathe or hide in the shade of palm trees (located on sun loungers under palm trees on lawns). The territory is very well-groomed. . In the evening you can walk "along the health track", because there is a pedestrian zone between the sea and the hotels.
The staff is friendly and unobtrusive.
Of the minuses:
- there is no wifi in the room, only in the lobby, but even that did not always work
- the room at check-in was not very clean, the floor was sticky, dusty, we even had to put everything in order ourselves a little, in the following days - they cleaned it every day
- they were scammed for money upon check-in, as they later learned from other vacationers, such a scheme is practiced with each guest, offering a room with a sea view for an additional fee and in comparison they showed us the paid one, over industrial air conditioners that work for the entire hotel, from which constantly there is heat and noise
From the pros:
- very close to the sea, about three minutes, and you are already on the beach, sandy, clean, the sea itself is warm and very convenient to enter the water, the bottom is flat and there are no deep drops
- the selected shopping tour for fur and leather from the guides was disappointing, at the factory in Side, where we were brought, in addition to unrealistically high prices, there was no choice. But at the hotel itself, the consultant Sabir from another store, Diazz, turned out to be very handy, who directed us there, which we were very pleased with in the end, because the quality, assortment and work of the consultants were on top and we finally picked up what we wanted
- buffet, a variety of dishes on the menu, everything is very tasty and you can eat when and how much you want
- a very large and well-groomed territory, you can walk along the paths in the evenings, in the evening by the pool - animation
