We went for 2 days in May 2014, in fact, the rooms are all right, we went to friends from a neighboring hotel, at the entrance they gave a piece of paper with the rules, and added it verbally, they didn’t say a word about the guests. At about one in the morning, we went to have a drink, the receptionist said that everything was fine - go hang out, don’t make noise, in the morning it turned out that you couldn’t bring guests, and you had to pay 40 euros for each, in case of non-payment, they promised to be evicted on the same day .

I didn’t like the attitude of the staff, we didn’t have anything to say with the animators, the rooms are quite good, if you don’t say that the buildings are facing each other, and when you leave the room you look at someone else’s room, which you can see through. Near the pool, not enough sunbeds, went out too late - you don’t sunbathe. The food is not bad, but again, you have to try everything, something that looks very tasty, in practice is not always the case, and vice versa, very boring sweets. In general, it’s probably not bad with children there, but Turkish omissions, as always, spoil the impression.

Vacationing with husband and child. The hotel is very good. The conditions for a comfortable family vacation are created to the maximum. Cool animations every evening, good food, green and cozy hotel area, clean rooms, next to the sea, a normal beach. All sorts of carousels for kids. They weren't hungry. With igor7 rested at the same time, I will clarify the situation with towels and the Germans.

Cool animations every evening, good food, green and cozy hotel area, clean rooms, next to the sea, a normal beach. All sorts of carousels for kids. They weren't hungry. With igor7 rested at the same time, I will clarify the situation with towels and the Germans. Problems with towels arise only for those people who like to go out at 5 in the morning to throw towels on sun loungers, 2-3 pieces and dump for the whole day, while other vacationers and elderly Turks and young Russians with children walk along the pool do not know where to go. Therefore, the manager, clearly seeing that the sun lounger is "crammed" and there are no people, releases it for those who need it, and I think this is right. They remove towels from both Germans and Russians, so there is no need to look for pitfalls aimed at our compatriots here. I’ll clarify that the towel was also removed from me, because I also staked out a sunbed and left for the whole day, I have no offense, because I understand that this is a kind of disrespect for other vacationers. I didn’t see any drunken Germans jumping at night and, which is characteristic, I didn’t hear, we slept with open doors to the balcony and nothing disturbed our sleep. There are claims to
ODEON - to the receiving party. They strongly advise to buy excursions only from them and this supposedly guarantees our safety. I bought for 150 bucks an excursion on a yacht with Vikings + dinner. And what do you think the children were served food in plates of MELAMIN - toxic plastic, poison! Emitting formaldehyde and causing cancer!!! ! Strictly prohibited for food purposes. I wrote a complaint to Odeon, there was no answer, they didn’t care that children were being poisoned, I think no one even checked this fact... The guide spread his hands, the answer was according to the principle “What about Lukashenka, what about Lukashenka !! ! “Therefore, eat food only from ceramic or even on the edge of plastic dishes where a spoon and fork are drawn - this is the designation of food plastic. And the hotel is good, I will go for 2 weeks next year, there will be money for maybe 3, but in general I would stay there. Have a good rest and take care of your health and your children, watch what you eat and what you eat from. And most importantly, remember that the host on the excursion does not guarantee your safety, our yacht tour with our animator cost 45 bucks. WE Odeon overpaid 100 turns out for nothing!

The bar is open until 23h. and even after 23h you can go up to the dining room and eat soup. The rooms have a bath, cleaning every day, but at night drunken Germans jump into the pool screaming, so I had to sleep intermittently, especially since the staff didn’t care (the owner is German). The main contingent of the hotel: Germans, Poles, Slovaks, British, Turks (the latter don't give a damn about the fact that someone else is resting next to them). The hotel staff does not speak Russian, only animators. Animation every day from 21h to 23h. Generally a family hotel, almost all families were with children. True, there was one aunt (pimp) from Russia, allegedly with her daughter (looking 17-18 years old, but I think more), who on the beach offered her to the Turks. The beach is not cleaned, all in cigarette butts. Nobody drives outsiders, so locals come there and settle down in companies between the sea and sun loungers and eat the female with their eyes. 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel to the beach. Coming from the sea on the last day of rest, we found two elderly Turkish women peacefully sunbathing on our sun loungers near the pool. Our towels and towels of two more families from Russia ended up at the reception (all were with small children). Before that, they threw off the towel at our friends, also Turks. When they began to find out how this could happen, we were told in a harsh form through the animator's translator that there were few sun loungers and not enough for everyone, there was not even an apology. Although I occupied one of the last sun loungers (7h45, the rest were already taken). In the evening, another Turkish family arranged football matches on the lawn in front of the hotel, where children play (my son was hit on the head with a ball, fortunately not much, in response, the duty officer, sorry). Our friends' child fell ill on the last day of rest, the doctor's call cost 100 euros. There are not enough places for everyone in the dining room, so it’s better to come for dinner 10m before opening, or an hour later. The overall impression of the hotel is not bad, but after this trip to Turkey more than a foot.

Many tourists who have discovered this hotel, then try to get there. The only thing that I didn't really like in 2010 (when compared with previous years), there were a lot of Germans. We can say that only the Germans. There were also Russians, but very few. We felt like we were surrounded : )) Therefore, the animation was also in German. But this is perhaps the only negative. They feed very well. For lunch and dinner, be sure to have soup and several types of meat dishes, not to mention salads and all kinds of vegetable dishes. Breakfast is served with very tasty bread rolls. Who overslept breakfast - late breakfast. Right in front of you, cakes with different fillings are baked. For an afternoon snack - tea, coffee with buns and cakes. There is also a late soup at 23-00. The bar closes at 23:00. There is no bar on the beach (do not forget that this is just a "three-ruble note"). The sea is close. Literally 2 steps away. But to the hotel beach you need to walk along the promenade for 5-7 minutes, however, this does not bother you at all. Not far from the hotel is an ancient city. Free open air museum. You can walk around and see everything. Lots of cafes and shops around. The hotel has its own sauna and Turkish bath (hammam). Be sure to go, you won't regret it. The price is 2 times lower than the guides offer. And very convenient - you don't need to go anywhere. The rooms are very cozy and comfortable, cleaned every day. This hotel is quite consistent with its price and the rest will not disappoint you. In addition, the Germans are economical and picky people, and they will not go to a bad hotel. Draw your own conclusions. . .

The hotel is really great. Location - the center of Side (to the sights - 10 minutes walk), well-groomed area, good rooms, smiling and very friendly staff, delicious varied food, fun animation (especially for kids). But, when we went to a distant beach, we realized that we were lucky. : ) The sea is much cleaner (pale blue), the sand is white, there are fewer people. In general, in the mornings we went to a distant beach (and often walked - only 20 minutes, and 5 minutes on a hotel bus), and in the evenings, we swam near the hotel.
The hotel has a free sauna (procedures - for a fee, but inexpensive), darts, volleyball.
The guests are mostly Poles, Russians and Germans.
And more about the staff. I have never met such a positive staff in any hotel!!!
In general, I was satisfied with the rest!

We rested in August 2009. First time in Turkey.
We were purposefully looking for a small hotel within the city with conditions for children - we were tired of sitting on the territory of peripheral hotels. Breaking the sea of reviews on the "fours" in Side, quite by accident came across the "triple" Sun club. I liked the reviews, although it was dumb to go to the three after the previous "fives". Despite the fact that the hotel was on the "stop", through its operator managed to break through the vouchers.
In principle, I completely agree with previous reviews - the hotel can claim a solid four.
I will try not to repeat, because in previous reviews over the past year everything is more or less the same.
LOCATION.
The hotel is located on a small shopping street, about a hundred meters from the coastline. From its side there are a number of shops, exchange offices, cafes and a pharmacy. On the opposite side, a whole block of big fives with inner blocks of shops. Very handy for small purchases.
It is very peculiar that the hotel is not visible from the street at all. There is a small archway between the shops - entering from the street you immediately find yourself in another world. Given that the territory is located in a large square, along the boundaries of which buildings are located, the presence of the city on the territory is not felt.
I’ll make a reservation right away - the pictures on the tour sites are outdated. The hotel is green. Fruit trees grow on the territory along the buildings (a very definite plus - they are not liked by cicadas roaring outside the hotel). Every day the gardener bustled about planting something in the flower beds. Compared to the previous photos, it's a clear progress, although the trees are not very big yet.
The location of the hotel is very good, because after going ashore, in 15 minutes you can walk to the peninsula, where the old city is located.
The rooms are standard (double bed plus one and a half). But with two children it is better to stay in building D. There are bunk beds. Hot water was present without fail. Rooms are cleaned daily. True, the first three days the towels were not changed. But, going to the reception and meeting with the manager of the hotel, I realized that this was a misunderstanding. By the way, a very pleasant and adequate person who speaks Russian well. Any request (for example, to move the cleaning of the room from lunch to the morning when the children are awake) is resolved promptly. By the way, painlessly, for a fee, the issue of extending the room on the day of departure is also resolved (the general rule in Turkey is that the room is vacated at 12 o'clock). And in general, the staff is friendly, most speak Russian.
Upon arrival, we were settled on the second line (between the buildings). As it turned out, this is even better, since during the day there was a small shade at the entrance to the room and no noise was heard from the pool.
NUTRITION.
Very good food for a treshka. Yes, as everywhere now in Turkey - soy beef. But, there was always an alternative in the form of poultry, pizza and a sea of stewed vegetables in different variations. From fruits - only watermelons and melons. But, in neighboring shops (in the inner streets of neighboring hotels) there are always grapes, Persians and plums at reasonable prices. Moreover, almost every day a truck with a local collective farmer came to our street, who sold the freshest fruits (grapes, Persians) at the rate of 2 tugriks per kg (about 50 rubles).
SEA.
The only negative, in my opinion, that does not allow this hotel to receive the status of the four is the location of the beach. Although, maybe this is not a minus. Will explain.
Indeed, until July they had their sunbeds right in the city. But, according to the manager, at the peak of the season, since August, the rental price tag was well charged and a number of hotels moved their beaches outside the old city.
The sea in Side is gorgeous. Small sand. Morning and evening just transparent. But, in this place (in the city) there is a large load of beaches by neighboring hotels, therefore, thanks to the fine sand that swimmers raised, sometimes the sea is unclear. Again, very clean. The public beach mentioned in some of the reviews is about 500 meters away, and in fact, almost empty. In the evenings, the Turks bring the children to bathe. But I did not notice any crowds of people there.
The beach directly from the hotel is located just behind the peninsula (old town). The water is perfect there. Yes, the delivery was not very successful. An old gazelle-type bus once an hour. Timed it - four / five minutes.
The problem was that the first departure was relatively late - at 9-30 in the morning. Considering that breakfast at the hotel started early (from 7-30), and after 12 there was nothing to do at sea with children - there was a significant queue for the first flight. With children, of course, everyone let them go ahead (with the exception of impudent Polish pensioners). Again, when the Manager had to complain, the schedule was changed to an earlier first flight. But, in principle, a five-minute bus ride did not bother (my children and I swam on a distant beach before lunch, and in the evening we went to a local beach).
Indeed, if you take the sunbeds of coastal restaurants, the Turks offer to buy something from them at the bar. In the evening, we just threw things near the sun loungers and calmly swam.
As for the pool - like everywhere in Turkey they have a problem with chlorination.
Yes, every evening the pools were cleaned with a vacuum cleaner and part of the water was drained - but still they tried not to let the children into the pool once again. Although, the Germans and Poles did not climb out of it for days.
TOURS.
The host was the company "ODEON". Good organization of work both on reception and on excursions. Hotel guide Olga, a very nice girl, who actually came to the hotel every day. Yes, of course, the price tags on excursions are screwed up. But I didn’t want to take risks on street options (for example, for 5 euros to Alanya), having heard how they bred.
Of the excursions for children, the “pirate yacht” was very successful. I personally liked flying to Istanbul. As for Pamukkale, of course it is worth seeing, because the Turks have actually decided to close it to tourists.
But, during a one-day excursion, most of the tourists were taken to all sorts of "baited" outlets, such as wineries and jewelry stores with charged price tags. The visit to Pamukkale itself took two hours! ! Therefore, the more you should not tie up for a two-day tour.
We also went to the Troya water park in Belek. I did not like. We have been to different water parks, but this attempt is the worst. A dozen slides on site and a terrible crush. It is clearly not suitable for a large flow of tourists from all over Antalya. Moreover, in fact, there are several small slides for three-year-old children, and only 12 years old are allowed on the other slides. Accordingly, my eight-year-old son got on a number of slides.
Of course, you should go to the ancient Side during the day, as well as take a walk along its streets in the evening. The spectacle is indescribable! Walking by sea 15 minutes. By minibus 3 minutes (approximately 2 lira per person).
By the way, there is the only place where they sell the famous Turkish goat ice cream (2 bucks).
PURCHASES.
As for shopping, we did not pursue the goal of shopping, nevertheless, before departure, we bought a little clothes for ourselves and our children, since here in Turkey they are of high quality and much cheaper than in St. Petersburg.
Practice has shown that in the surrounding small shops within our quarter, the price tags are, of course, an order of magnitude lower than in the “official” points of the guides. It is also expensive to buy in the shopping district of the old city.
Do not be fooled by the offer of the guide who meets you not to buy sweets until the return trip to the airport, when the bus will call at the confectionery factory (such as “everything is the freshest! Etc. ) Yes, at this factory they sell “from the oven” for the weight of some it's one kind of sherbet, priced at $16 a box! The rest of the products are in the usual factory packaging, the date of manufacture of which, at best, is at least three weeks.
The price tag, of course, is 30 percent higher than in the shops near the hotel and, therefore, the mythical 5 percent discount on cards issued by guides looks cynical.
CURRENCY.
Oddly enough, the rates that are at the reception, that on the street in exchangers do not differ. Approximately it turns out that the lira goes to the euro 1:2, and to the dollar 1:1.4. I do not agree that it is profitable to buy only in euros. Turks use exchange rates in a peculiar way. So always ask them for the price in all three currencies. It often happened that the price in dollars was lower than in euros, and vice versa. It is convenient to keep small lira on "bakshishi".
CONCLUSION.
Nice little family hotel for families with children. It is especially convenient if you do not want to lie by the pool or on the beach for days.
Sea of impressions. And I wrote too much. Ready to answer in more detail on each position (write).

I want to start right away with the beach, since the information about it on the websites of travel agencies is not true. The hotel is really 150-200 meters from the sea, but there is no hotel beach there - there are beaches of other hotels and bars. To the beach of the hotel you need to go 2-3 kilometers on a "transport" (with a frequency of about 1 time per hour from 9.30 to 18.30). On this beach, umbrellas, sun loungers, mattresses are free of charge, a bar is paid. We were there only once, as it takes a long time to walk from there, and waiting for a delivery is not always convenient, and it looks intimidating.
Since the availability of a place under the sun was not important for us, we simply reached the sea 150 m from the hotel, swam and walked back or walked along the coast. The beach is sandy, very clean water and few waves, which we really liked. Indeed, it was possible to borrow sun loungers on the beaches of the bars, but you had to buy something from them. A couple of times I saw how the owners of the bars were kicked out of the sunbeds, saying that it was their property, and the tourists, apparently, did not buy anything from them. At 400 meters there is a public beach where locals relax.
I liked the food at the hotel. The assortment practically did not depend on what time you came for breakfast, lunch or dinner, since everything that ended was always served. Of the fruits, there were always watermelons and melon for dinner. There were a lot of people at dinner, so it was better to come either to the very beginning at 19.00 or an hour later, when the majority had already eaten : )
The room pleasantly surprised me with its size and bed (large double bed and one single bed - in all standard rooms). Cleaned every day, towels changed every other day. On the last day, our shower broke down, but it was done in 10 minutes. The air conditioning worked properly, even froze a little at night : )
Most of the guests at the hotel are Poles and Turks. There are fewer Germans and Russians.
The pool is small, very chlorinated and the water is cloudy. I decided to go into it only 1 time, although some were sitting there all day. Sunbeds are occupied very early that there are no more places for breakfast.
We didn't like the animation, but it didn't matter to us. We went to the disco from the animators - I didn’t like it: little time (2 hours), bad music and a small dance floor
In general, the rest was pleasant, but next time it will be a different hotel.
