The long stretch of the beach line, in the last 3 days of our holiday, caretta turtles sailed to the shore.
The food is tasty and varied, a lot of fruits - watermelons, melons, apples, pears, peaches, apricots, pineapples and much more every day.
And now about the sad part - rooms and cleaning. We had a room with a view of the garden - I really do not recommend rooms with a view of the territory, which are located near the wall / road - you can hear the noise of the highway very much, it seems that you live in a transformer box. Our room 1017 was in a good location - there is a restaurant, a swimming pool, the sea and the noise of cars are not audible, but it always seemed to us that we were living in a trash can. When checking in, the room stank of sewerage - they said that they were cleaning it and in an hour everything would be fine and indeed everything was fine in the evening, but the next day everyone else stank and decently. Good for the whole day on the beach. Fragrant notes were added by cleaners who poured dirty water after cleaning just under the house - we saw this for the first time in our lives and were simply shocked. For 8 days of rest, they never changed the bed for us, and they just took 3 towels and had to go looking for them . . There were some rags and jars of cleaning products lying in front of the room all the time. The view of the garden was also impressive - beautiful trees, and under them pieces of pipes, broken glass. The number is not even a triple - it's some kind of misunderstanding. Several times they swore at the reception - they listened carefully, but they didn’t want to pay money, and normal rooms are only the first row near the sea.
Territory - 5
Rather big, well-groomed, bushes are trimmed, lawns are clean, well-groomed, lemons, oranges, tangerines, bananas, pomegranates grow right next to the rooms, different flowers bloom, crickets sing, lizards run, etc. The hotel is located directly along the sea, so every evening you can walk along the promenade and listen to the surf. There is no gop gay la la ley. And even if there is a disco in the evening, you can go to another part of the hotel, where there will be no hint of loud sounds. Really stunning sea views from the main Magnolia restaurant, a fish (and partly) Turkish a la carte restaurant, as well as the Piano bar, in the latter, by the way, a musician plays the piano quite well in the evenings. In general, we were satisfied with this aspect.
Sea - 5.
The length of the beach is decent, sunbeds were always available, you can enter the sea both on your own and from a pontoon. The water is clean, clear and very warm. The beach is very small pebbles. I hate sand, so this beach made me very happy. But not all, of course.
Room - 4+
We booked a room with a partial sea view, arrived at 9 am, waited until 14 for a settlement, provided not the best room, the next day we changed it to a room with a direct sea view from the second floor. Very nice)) The case was not without difficulties, but thank God it turned out. Many guests also had problems with the settlement. I really do not recommend rooms with a view of the territory, which are located near the wall / road - the noise of the highway is very audible. In general, there are rooms of various categories and prices, respectively. And with a view of the garden, and the pool, and with a terrace, and with direct / partial sea views, and with a private mini-pool, etc. There are plenty to choose from. We like hotels when the rooms are located in one-, two-story buildings or individual chalets. Here is that option. The rooms are not very big, but sufficient. Our room had a small double bed, a long table, a tea set, slippers, bathrobes, a beautiful variety of lighting, mirrors, a shower, a hairdryer, toiletries, a balcony, a safe, a wardrobe with enough hangers.
Housekeeping - 3, no more. But it depends on how picky you are. This time we turned a blind eye to everything, because. I just didn't have the strength. But the facts are clear: they don’t wipe the dust, they haven’t changed the soap in the shower, the duvet cover is full of holes, the foot towel hasn’t been changed at all, and it, too, has threads coming out already. This despite the fact that we asked for cleaning only 1 time per week and left 2 euros for a tip. But they twisted the swans for us - nice))
Service - 4.
Since we were already resting at the end of the season, the staff directly said that they were very tired and were waiting for the season to be closed (and in 2017 it closes earlier, since the hotel is planned to be restored - which is very handy - it no longer pulls 5 * ). The waiters do not know English, it is extremely difficult to explain something. At the reception, they can’t solve the problem for a long time, the woman who bakes cakes on the beach really falls asleep over the dough (it’s clear that she’s very tired), the animators don’t want to do half of the planned (a lightweight version of aqua aerobics is not always carried out, but we forced it, yoga takes place on it’s not pleasant in the heat, no one wants to play volleyball, because the beach is not sandy, but partly pebbly, the animators themselves don’t know how to play in bochu, darts are good, dance shows are not bad, they didn’t go to the disco).
Food - 4
In the main restaurant "Magnolia", which guests consider to be more than a dining room, they serve buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. I forgive a lot, because the sea view from this restaurant is simply gorgeous. You can see the sea from every table. The range of food is quite varied, but every day is the same. Service is average. Serving is minimal, dishes are sometimes broken, flies fly regularly. But hungry, of course, you will not come out of there.
Breakfast: eggs prepared in several ways, incl. individual omelette, which does not even have to wait long; pancakes / pancakes, grilled halloumi, potatoes in different types, sweet and not sweet buns, toast from 5-7 types of bread, about 5 types of sausages, up to 10 - cheeses, a variety of cold snacks (lots of olives, pickled vegetables, salads), fresh lettuce leaves - 5 species, cucumber, tomato, grated carrot, etc. As well as fruits: apples, pears, peaches, nectarines, figs, plums, watermelon, melon - this is our holiday season. Naturally Turkish sweets, dried fruits, a bunch of sauces, yoghurts, jams, etc. And most importantly - a sea of fresh orange juice. Drink - I do not want. Lunch / dinner: all the same starters, salads, fruits + side dishes: rice, beans, potatoes, pasta, stews / fish, grilled meats (chicken, turkey, liver) and fish. And sweets - baklava, a lot of shortbread cookies soaked in sweet syrup, some soufflé s, a kind of cakes, puddings, etc. Wine and beer local - average quality, let's say so. I was surprised that few people left tips - there are special boxes everywhere - obviously almost empty : ( They offer to visit 2 a la carte restaurants for free: Turkish (not impressed) and fish (recommended). 2 more restaurants - for 20-25 euros per person we In addition to the main restaurant, there are also bars and snack bars near the pool and the sea, where you can have a bite to eat and drink.
As for the food, I can't say that I was very impressed. However, after reading many reviews about food in Turkey, we are already glad that there were no problems with the stomach.
Spa - 4.
We took a spa program for 1.5 hours for $50. Hammam - 15 minutes, peeling, foam massage, classic massage, relaxation. It was recommended to do it with the masseuse Made - a woman who has been working at the hotel for more than a year. I can't say that I'm completely delighted. In our city, for this amount, you can organize a more comfortable spa. But I can't say it's bad either.
Tour operator and organizational issues - 4.
We were sent by Pegas Touristik. Everything that was said was done. Group transfer is normal, guides are adequate. The airport in Antalya was not very pleasant, rather dirty, expensive. We did not visit excursions this time, we only went to the 7-storey shopping center in Alanya (free transfer back and forth), which we regretted 300 times. I do not recommend. They also advertised the 33 Pleasures spa - a unique complex on top of a mountain, with a pool with a glass wall, where you can see how the water flows from the mountain like a waterfall. Accepts only 9 people at a time, 2 and a half hours of relaxation and only $45. However, while we thought for 1 day - there were no free places for a week ahead. But for a surcharge of $ 10 per person, you could still go. We started searching the Internet for information about this spa - there is nothing on Facebook, Instagram, or just Google. Not a single photo. In general, visited the spa in the hotel - and normal. There was no time to travel.
And yet, although children (16+) do not rest in the hotel, pets are allowed. This makes a lot of dog owners happy.
The hotel guests in our season were mostly Europeans, some Russians, Ukrainians.
Summarizing: The hotel is not bad, quiet, calm, with a large beautiful territory, good cuisine, unobtrusive animation. What will happen in 2018 - after the restoration - is difficult to say, hardly worse.
The room itself made a very favorable impression. The room has a double bed, a refrigerator, a hairdryer, 2 bathrobes, a kettle with a minimum set of tea and coffee, which is replenished as needed. The air conditioner did not work in our room, but since our vacation fell on May, and at this time there is no heat, there was no need for air conditioning, an open balcony was enough for us. A minus, and quite a big one, I can note an unpleasant smell (manure) in the evening on the territory of the hotel, as it was found out at the end of the rest, this is due to the fact that the plants are watered with some kind of rubbish. Cleaning in the room was normal, no enthusiasm about this.
The beach is small pebbles, for me no special shoes are required. On the beach, friendly staff, as soon as you approach the sunbed, they immediately carry a mattress. There were no problems with sunbeds, but I think this is only because we were at the very beginning of the season. The beach is cleaned from algae every night.
The food is decent and tasty, and you can eat almost around the clock. At lunchtime, cakes are fried on the beach. From lunch to 16.00 on the upper balcony near the lobby daily ice cream.
There is no animation. There is yoga, basketball, live music in the lobby under the piano and live music with songs in different languages in the evening in a designated area. In general, if you are planning a party vacation, this hotel is not for you, look for other options, but if you want to be alone, then you definitely come here, especially considering that the hotel does not accept guests under 16, which means there are no inadequate children with their inadequate parents.
The hotel area is quite large, there is a tennis court, a pond with fish that eat a bun in a minute; ). Everything is cleaned and washed regularly.
Separately, I want to note the location of the hotel. This is neither Side nor Manafgat. The hotel stands apart, to Manafgat 20 minutes by car, there is no market, no shops, no cafes nearby.
The wonderful staff always smiled sweetly, constantly, something is all rubbed, washed - cleanliness is everywhere, there are no complaints. The hotel is for families! Very large, beautiful and well-groomed, clean territory, a lot of coniferous and tropical trees, a lot of flowers, there is a mini-zoo if you can call it that - a couple of chickens and rabbits, but the children have fun. Everyone was very pleased with the mini-club, my son did not go for 12 years, he was embarrassed to be with small ones - he found friends of his age, but the children looked very happy there, they were always busy with something, so if you are with a child - the choice of hotel is right! The pools are all clean, not heavily chlorinated, an awning is stretched over the children's "paddling pool", the slides work on time.
The animation is good, the program is rich, well done - they don’t let them get bored, neither for children nor adults, competitions throughout the day, the gymnasts were amazed!
The beach is pebbly, this is not a hindrance, we have special shoes or you can go down from the pier, very convenient. The water is clean, transparent, but the fact that there is a cemetery not far from the hotel is embarrassing. Sunbeds without problems near the sea, but not near the pool, except perhaps the far one (they were there), such is the mentality of “ours” that they threw a towel on the sunbed and might not even come up all day, because of this, one of us was always separately.
Of all the bars on the beach, the beach bar and opposite the reception are the best. The food is mediocre, sometimes with yesterday's salads, you need to come in the first half an hour, because. a lot of things can not get and the tables are busy. There is a lot of chicken, meat occasionally, fish every day, but there are queues for freshly prepared dishes. But you won't leave hungry anyway! We were in an a la carte restaurant with seafood, for the period of stay at the hotel a free visit to one of all restaurants is included, it is problematic to sign up, they came up every day, but either there was no girl or a queue, and the dishes were the same as every day, basically restaurant, service only.
The representative of the tour operator was seen on the first and last day, they barely found and barely asked when we should fly out, we stood by him for about half an hour and waited until he called everyone.
But you simply don’t pay attention to many things, in particular, I’m talking about those negative reviews from below, why go on vacation with such negativity ? ! we didn’t find fault with anything, but just enjoyed the rest, we smiled and everything suited us and they smiled back at us !!
The nature is SUPER, we love the Kemer region very much, this is not the first time we come to this coast. On the one hand, the SEA, and on the other, the MOUNTAINS - splendor, perfection ! ! Bliss to lie under the sound of the sea on the shore and watch the fog envelop the mountains! !
What can I say about the fact that the hotel is quite fresh, I have already read, so I knew where I was going. For a hotel of this level, the price was pretty reasonable. Maybe because I studied everything in advance, I was not surprised, angry or something else.
Of the minuses:
Not well-coordinated work of the staff, who speaks little Russian. As I understand it, the hotel was only recently built, but garbage can still be found somewhere.
I didn’t like entering the beach - by nature, small pebbles, but if it’s fast, then it’s normal.
From the pros: I went to a noisy booze, but ended up on a heavenly cloud. I was even pleased that the animators were somewhere far away and in small numbers. BUT DID NOT WAKE UP IN THE MORNINGS SCREAM AND LOUD MUSIC, which simply zadolbivaet in ordinary hotels. Regarding the kitchen, there is something to compare, everything was normal. Dishes are light, tasty and varied.
