Finally, the borders were opened and we gathered in September in Turkey in a 5-star hotel. Chose solely on fresh reviews, tk. after quarantine, many "good" hotels have passed the bar. Now for the facts:
- the hotel is located in a kind of wasteland, there are 2 more hotels and a river nearby, nothing more sensible (fortunately, you can get to Side and Manavgat by regular bus, I advise you to take a walk);
- arrived from the airport 4 hours after arrival, as it took a very long time to deliver others (hello Fit Holidays);

- they gave us the documents for settling, we were sent for lunch, we came tired from lunch - no one dealt with our documents, we had to wait another 20 minutes until we were settled). The staff at the reception understands Russian with grief in half, while in English (which I know well) you won’t talk much with them either. So I can not say that we were quickly hospitably settled. They took the suitcase for sanitation, and then also asked for a tip (which we are always ready to leave, but not in the situation when we haven’t eaten or slept since the morning and can’t get into the room for a long time in the absence of any hype in the hotel as such) .
About the hotel:
- the territory is small, there is nowhere to walk, only if you are not afraid to go out at night on the road slightly illuminated by lanterns;
- throughout the hotel, including the room, they save a lot on lighting - you are constantly in some kind of twilight;
- a good water park, albeit small, saunas, etc. there is no free, in the spa only massage and a small gym, where you can’t turn around at all;
- the hall is beautiful, in the evening all the guests flock there to drink cocktails from the heart (which, by the way, are not tasty at all and rather look like a way to quickly get into a drunken state);
- the bus runs every half an hour and even more often - lies! The bus runs every hour to and from the hotel, and it will not go straight in advance (arrived at 15:20 - wait for 16:00), but it can leave at 15:50, and then you will arrive at 16:00 and also did not have time . Thanks to the open windows, everything is in a terrible dust - it is better to close your mouth and nose, otherwise you will plant your lungs while you eat to the beach;
- horses are grazing near the hotel, at night it stank of manure from the window, I had to sleep with air conditioning and close the balcony - at the end of the vacation, a cold jumped out (a hair dryer will not dry any hair).
By food:
- like everywhere there are many Turkish dishes and interpretations of European ones with a dubious taste, for themselves only on the 3rd day of all this abundance they found something more or less acceptable. Crayfish were 1 evening and very few - gray inside, rolls are not tasty, all desserts are like store-bought ones - cute, but there’s nothing to taste, the fruits are the most ordinary, there weren’t even pomegranates, although Side is famous for them and September is just the season;

- I read that food is for the whole day, and I expected that we definitely wouldn’t be hungry. As a result: it is clear that breakfast-lunch-dinner is scheduled, there are no questions, but! By the pool you can eat only in a narrow interval from 2 to 4, like on the beach, there is no food in the lobby. That is, after lunch and before dinner, you either eat up at 2 o’clock or starve until 7. This was especially felt on the beach when you arrive after 3, you want to stay until sunset, but you understand that you are already hungry and the bus stops going. After dinner, only poor burgers at 21:30, which you definitely won’t eat more than 2 times and popcorn for children.
Number:
- we settled in and what we see - the walls are dirty, the floors were "carried with dirt while washing", the windows to the pool and the balcony to the disco (if you like to sleep at night, ask for a room in the other wing to relax at 22:00, and not listen to German children's songs). Lighting - twilight, especially in the bathroom. A lot of closets for things and a strong pressure in the shower - noted as a plus. Bathrobes are not provided. There are no blankets either, but at least you can ask at the reception. The minibar had different sodas, after that only water was replenished. They didn’t give anything at check-in, as usual (not a plate of fruit, nothing, only a luggage carrier stood with us for 10 minutes waiting for money). From amenity: shower gel, shampoo, conditioner (girls, absolutely useless, take your own), body cream and soap. No toothpaste! Although in any 5-star hotel they give a set of brush + paste, also a spoon for shoes. We found out that there was no pasta in the evening when we were going to brush our teeth. We came to reception, to which we were told - go buy in the store, which is in the hotel, we don’t know anything. Naturally, in the evening it is closed and in the morning during tomorrow it also did not work yet. Very spoiled the impression;
- all wooden furniture is very old and not functional at all;
- drying clothes - 3 short sticks from the wall, in a room designed for 4 people this is not serious;
- they gave 1 card per number (on other holidays they gave 2), when asked to give a second one (it’s more convenient for us), they refused.
Cleaning:
- they hung a sign about cleaning in the morning (maybe the sea with small pebbles, etc. , with all the desire, the floors and towels got dirty);

- in fact, she always came to us after dinner, when people usually have an afternoon nap in the midst of the heat on the street and for a couple of days it was very uncomfortable that we were not in the room all morning, and she came to us right away every day after lunch;
- bed linen was changed 1 time, on the last night for some reason;
- towels were changed 1 time, when they personally asked the maid (which was very difficult, because he does not understand any language other than Turkish);
- on other days, dirty towels were folded neatly and hung "like new".
As a result: it doesn’t smell like five stars at all, more than 3 stars with a buffet (and then, some 3 stars, you know, are better). There are a lot of rooms, and the hotel is useless, there is nowhere to go in the evening (of course, if you like to drink cocktails all day and your maximum is to take a sun lounger for the whole day to drink alcohol more conveniently, then you might like it).
