We were generally recognized as guilty, citing that we could have changed clothes at the airport and forgotten the package there. I agree that the hotel is not responsible for the safety of things, but then why do you recommend leaving things at the reception?
50% of the rooms are not renovated, and the second half are renovated)! Settlement, as I understand it, first in rooms without repair, and if they are very indignant, then they are moved to new rooms.
From bitter experience, during the holidays, the children and I were in both the old and the new room (we were moved as much as on the 4th day after 2 requests from the operator, and reviews on the sites: tripadvisor. ru; turpvavda. ua; booking. com ).
Pros:
- there are new rooms) with air conditioning
- on holidays very lively animation
many different dishes in the restaurant
- swimming pools tiles and large area
- there is a pier on the sea
Minuses
- there are rooms without repair (the central air conditioner works like a fan, the bathroom can leak, as we had, old bedding, everything is dirty!! ! )
- after our relocation to our dirty, faulty room, tourists were immediately settled (
- NO CLEANING IN THE ROOMS!!!
- long queues, the staff does not always cope. As for ice cream - 20-25 min (
- there are not always lifeguards near the pools and on the pier, slides either do not work or work, but 3 hours a day
- sale of natural juices and cocktails - 1 cup 2 euros, funny. In the city for 1 euro for juice
- entry into the sea through boulders with moss and pebbles
- average well-groomed territory: there are dry areas without watering
- Service is overpriced
We left our things in the room and went to look at the territory, it is, of course, beautiful, large, well-groomed) As for the beach, if you don’t take sunbeds before 8.30, you will lie on the sand, this is not normal! I recommend taking aquashoes, since the beach and entry into the sea are rocky, it’s more pleasant to go to the neighboring beach, since there is no natural plate, like on our beach) but we liked to swim from a pontoon) Regarding food - we liked everything for the first five days, and then tired of the monotony, I would like a larger assortment of fruits, dried fruits, as well as more space, I had to look for breakfast and lunch or wait until the table was free, we came to dinner at 18.45 and always occupied the table in advance)
On the Turkish night, they said that dinner would be “wow”, but it was the same dinner as always, they just added fresh figs, more cakes, which are not for everybody. And by the way! Lots of spicy food! If you are with children, then go and try before you take something on a plate). But we were never hungry! Delicious cocktails were made at the lobby, although not all of them were always available. The staff in the restaurant understands Russian, at the snack bars not everything is of course, especially at the write-mish bar and the bar near the main restaurant, the girls are, to put it mildly, unbalanced. They reacted strangely to elementary requests in Russian and even in English, throwing ice from a glass on the floor in front of people or making faces, mumbling in Turkish under their breath! ), but it was fun to watch)
Speaking of animation, it sucks, it just doesn’t exist, once there was a disco where a girl sang Russian hits of the 90s, and that’s it. But here's a test hookah, there is modern music playing, it costs $15. But no one tries for the kids, there were dances in the evening, a la move to the left, move to the right. About nothing. A children's room with trampolines, a slide and a spinner or a ride on a typewriter - 5 €, but it only works in the evening) there is also a free playroom and a playground with a sandbox and slides, and a small pool is free)
About cleaning - we were cleaned normally, of course, not to the shine of the floor, we walked in slippers, but we always wiped the dust, changed towels, replenished shampoo / gel / soap / toilet paper. You will only find internet at the lobby, the main restaurant and at the zippy bar where the pools are).
But the territory is large, beautiful, well-groomed, class!
The hotel itself is located in the village, not far from the mosque, there are bazaars nearby, you can walk through them in the evening (they work until 22.00 exactly), but there is nothing more interesting outside the territory.
In general, the impressions were positive, the hotel is quite good for one vacation.
The territory cannot be described, you just need to see it. You live in a large, beautiful, perfectly planted and well-groomed subtropical park. They feed excellent. The quality and selection is very high. Fish every day. Good choice of food for kids. Fruit according to the season, all and in unlimited quantities. In the lobby bar, there was always real scotch (Vat69 or Red Label), and in other bars they alternated with local. The staff is very friendly.
The beach is normal. There is a stone at the bottom, so entry into the water is not very good, but there is a pier and a pontoon. The main thing is to be careful, do not rub your body against the underwater parts of the pontoon and pier, there are stinging algae. I burned my belly, it was hot for 4 hours. But this is not the problem of this hotel, they are found everywhere in the Mediterranean and Aegean. From the pontoon, the staff cleans the algae from time to time, but I managed to do it. On the pool with slides, it is not always possible to find a free sunbed. Not big 2 slides. The animation is ok, but I didn't care much for it.
On the tour from the operator do not see each other. You can go to Side and Manavgat by yourself. Took an excursion from Coral to Side with a visit to the Manavgat "waterfall" and the olive and nomad museums. Emin promised that the tour included a visit to the amphitheater in Side, he deceived. An amphitheater for a fee, but they simply did not leave time for this. In the museum of olives, do not see everything that they will offer to buy, the prices are extra fraudulent. In Manavgat, all this is many times cheaper. Those sweets that are in the museum for $ 40 in the city for $ 12-15, etc. My daughter, son-in-law and grandson took an excursion to the petting zoo. She said that this is the most mediocrely spent $ 100. Emin promised that pictures with a tiger cub and a lion cub are included in the price, but they ask $20 for it and they don’t allow them to take pictures themselves, they beat the animals, they look intimidated. There are few dinosaurs and they are worse than those that, for example, are in the dinopark in Kyiv.
I advise you to go to Manavgat on your own, a well-groomed and beautiful town, you can shop if you wish or just take a walk. Side by itself is worth a visit, who are interested in ancient ruins. The prices there are wild in stores, not suitable for shopping.
There are no particular cons. The hotel is more for families with children. You can advise to add sun loungers on the beach and by the pools.
We checked in at 3 pm, which was a bit tiring, as we arrived earlier than check in and had to wait.
The room was good, clean, the bed is also clean. During our stay they cleaned everything we needed - soap, slippers, towels. The service is good, the staff is polite, never rude. Air conditioning works, all appliances are in good condition.
There is a lot of entertainment, there are places to go besides the beach. And there is where to leave the children - they liked the animators, the children were satisfied and did not get bored without us.
The kitchen is on top, a large selection, there is something for children to choose from. Alcohol is within the limits of good, but you should not expect anything special, unless you can try cocktails.
We liked the rest, the children were happy and healthy, everything went great.
