The room was given next to the lobby - I didn’t like it, they asked me to change it - to a higher and more pleasant view (before that there was a view of the bushes) They changed it at no extra charge to the fifth floor overlooking the sea and the city. The room is small, but everything is modern and clean, all appliances worked properly.
The service is decent, the rooms were cleaned well, regardless of the tip, the refrigerator was constantly replenished with water, lemonade and a cool mineral water like Borjomi.
A few words about food: very high quality Turkish cuisine, meat, rolls, fish, all kinds of herbs and fruits, an abundance of interesting snacks, good cakes. At the bar, everything is according to the all inc system - everything is normal, except perhaps vodka (not crayfish), good beer, wine.
The hotel is German oriented, but all the staff speaks good English, except for the cleaners. We spoke exclusively in English and there were no problems, in principle, the Russians rested there and spoke with the staff in Russian - they seemed to understand)
I won’t say much about the animation - it’s boring, although they brought a cool dude, he sang well live in a bunch of languages, it was interesting to listen to.
The beach is sandy, cleaned daily, the entry into the sea is pleasant, very smooth. The water is clean. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to it, along a picturesque descent, there is a transfer from the beach.
On the territory there is a large swimming pool, a small one with slides and a garden + amphitheater. That is, the territory is very small, although it did not bother.
Of the minuses:
Unstable Wi-Fi in the lobby, animation, the imposition of all sorts of spa nonsense when replacing beach towels with clean ones.
I don’t want to list what exactly was there, because it’s not realistic to list everything... both fruits and vegetables, and sweets are a masterpiece, many thanks to the confectioners - hard workers, also meat, fish! Cool. . . Even the kids, who are very picky eaters at home, ate everything here! Our eldest, 2-year-old, really liked the water slide with the pool... the water in the pool was a little cool for the children, but no one caught a cold, but I think, on the contrary, they hardened! The sea is warm and clean, pleased with the beach... not pebbles! It is convenient to play volleyball, and the children played great in the sand, built castles!
The entrance to the sea is also good! Interesting entertainment for children, the children did not get bored there! Many thanks to the animators, well done! We didn’t go on excursions, we had enough entertainment in the hotel... In general, I recommend this hotel, you can safely relax here with your children, you won’t be left hungry, and you won’t be bored !! !
so if he was 4 * prices he would not have been. and since he is 5 * there are claims to him. Well economy class.
There are many reviews for this hotel. I can agree with both negative and positive.
accommodation. for me personally, the resort of Side turned out to be nothing, the worst in Turkey, but this is IMHO. the hotel building is crooked (in relation to the sea). I somehow got used to the fact that hotels are located either directly or perpendicularly to the sea. For me, the hotel seemed uncomfortable. the room is clean, with a claim to 5 *. this manifested itself in the bedspread and curtains. tried to beautify. no complaints. everything in the bathroom worked properly, we always had hot water.
WiFi was free in the hotel lobby.
food. This seems to be the main question of our tourists. in taste and color. I was satisfied with the food. I don't eat much when it's hot. fruits, vegetables, side dishes, meat-fish, sweets. everything was present. I didn't see anyone hungry in the hotel.
the bulk of tourists are residents of the CIS. rudeness and fights were not noticed.
the staff is friendly. problems are being solved or it seems that they are being solved, depending on the complexity.
there are enough sun loungers for everyone on the beach, it is clean, the beach is monitored.
there was cleaning in the room. with a tip, so there were no complaints.
animation as for 5 * is rather weak. but this question has always been of no interest to me at the hotel. in the evenings we went to Side or Antalya, so we were at the animation a couple of times. you can kill time.
this is one of my few trips where I did not take part in choosing a hotel and resort - friends gave us vouchers. they didn't get to go. went spontaneously, having gathered for 2 days. and we didn’t intend to go at all, so I can’t call my stay in this hotel a long-awaited vacation. and taking into account the fact that I had a knee injury and, as it turned out later, with muscle strain, I also rarely appeared on the beach - on the first day my leg was very cold.
if you are offered a hotel at a good price, you need sand on the beach and close to the airport - it's worth going. but in parallel it is also worth looking at other options.
What I did not like very much . . The staff practically does not speak not only in Russian (he is not obliged to), but also in English. I met only 2 people from the staff with whom I could speak in English. Indeed, the dominance of German tourists is amazing : ) The hotel is focused specifically on them, so everyone speaks German, including animation. You need to be ready for this.
In all other respects, the hotel is excellent. Highly recommend.
