Of all the hotels in Side, this time the choice fell on the Commodore Elite Suites & Spa 5 *. The main criteria were 1st line, sandy beach, high rating, calm quiet environment without intrusive overly noisy animation. This hotel met all our expectations, besides it was the only 18+ (adults only) hotel in the area. We flew with Aeroflot from Sheremetyevo. There on a comfortable brand new Airbus A-33.300, but back on an old IL-96 (heaven and earth). When leaving the airport, we were very surprised - NOBODY met us. We had a tour operator SUNMAR, none of the representatives were there. I had to run around and find out from other operators about our transfer to the hotel. It turned out that SUNMAR is the same as Sunrise (who else would have warned us!!! ). Fortunately, they apologized to us and quickly put us in a minibus, and we immediately went, alone together, there was not even a guide on the bus - cool! We were at the hotel about an hour later. The time was 14-00, we were "ringed" and sent to dinner, after which we were quickly settled in a room. Five minutes later they brought a bottle of wine and fruit to the room - very handy!
The contingent of vacationers is 90 percent Germans (mostly married couples over 40-50 and a pension), another 5 percent is the English-speaking public over 40, and our Slavs are about five percent of the same age category. There were very few young couples. Perhaps this circumstance, plus the complete absence of children, made the stay at this hotel quiet and peaceful. Throw in some great food with a mandatory dinner dress code, and you have that unforgettable atmosphere of sophistication and at the same time casualness, if you want. If breakfasts, perhaps, are no different from other hotels in terms of their assortment, then for lunch the chefs always tried to cook something new, but as for dinners, I repeat, only one thing can be said - lovely! Firstly, dinners, as a rule, were themed, i. e. for example, today is the day of Chinese cuisine, then - the day of Mexican cuisine, then - Japanese, Italian, Turkish, etc. Secondly, candles on tables decorated with the flag of the respective country, fast and attentive service of waiters who are always ready to exchange a few words with you, joke, find out how you are doing and whether everything suits you. And thirdly - for 10 days the menu has never been repeated! And do not believe those who claim that none of the servants speak Russian! This is a lie, as well as the fact that some kind of preference is being made for the Germans. In any case, neither in the restaurant, nor at the reception, nor in the city, we did not notice any neglect. On the contrary, the Turks, having learned that we were from Russia, immediately began to smile, trying to speak Russian. One Turk became so emotional that he climbed up to hug. He said that the Germans had already got it, and at that time there were very few Russians left in the hotel. It was nice!
Now for the number. We took ELITE SUITE. We had room 6507. This is the topmost attic floor, but the ceilings are straight and high. In principle, the description of the room on the site coincides with reality, with the exception of only the area. The declared 40-50 meters did not smell, at most about 30, but we were not upset at all, because the direct view of the sea was just amazing - beautiful sunsets and a moonlit path, - beauty! And the smells from restaurants did not reach us. There are no irons in the rooms, take your own. The minibar and the safe are free, the TV is a 32" panel with limited volume and there is no USB socket in it!! ! Three Russian channels, "Let's Get Married" and Malakhov are chasing ORT for days, I wonder if someone watches them in Turkey ?? ? DVD player and Sony Playststion 3 (albeit without a joystick, wires and disks - why is it needed at all? ) Cleaned well, every day change of towels, linen - 2-3 times a week, tips were left every other time. When you check in, remember that everyone is odd the rooms look at the sea (the best ones end with 07.09, 11 and 13), and all the even ones overlook the wasteland and hotels of the 2nd line.
The beach has gray-yellow sand, a very convenient gentle entrance to the sea, the water at that time was very clean and warm, without algae, the bottom was sandy without stones - super! You could always find sunbeds. For lunch we sometimes went to a small restaurant on the beach, the food is the same, except for the first courses.
Indoor pool - did not use. 2 outdoor pools right in front of the main building, sunbeds should be occupied already from 7 am, the water in the pools is cool, another small pool with 2 slides (for some reason it worked only 2 hours a day). The hotel also has 10 rooms with their own private pool, the entrance is directly from the room, but the depth is only 90 cm! Towels were given free of charge and changed throughout the day at the spa in the main building.
Animation - show programs were held every other day, they liked the Chinese circus, the Brazilians also lit up well!
On other days live music, karaoke. almost everything is in German.
In general, I really liked the hotel, it is no coincidence that it is called elite. Of course, young people have nothing to do here, but for those over 40, I think comfort, peace and tranquility will be to their liking. Who has questions. I will answer with pleasure.

For the first time in the history of my reviews, I have to start with the shortcomings in order to add at least something good at the end. So, Minuses: 1. Public beach (not private on public territory, namely public in the domestic sense, that is, common to everyone, VERY (! ) Dirty and unkempt. 2. A pack of stray (! ) dogs that constantly lives on the beach and turns a morning trip to the sea and swimming in it into a second-rate horror movie.

For the first time in the history of my reviews, I have to start with the shortcomings in order to add at least something good at the end. So,
Minuses:
3. The beach is so small that it is constantly packed to capacity (at least at the end of June).
4. Between the hotel and the public beach - a public street (you can’t call it a promenade), along which crowds of vacationers from other hotels continuously roam.
5. Periodic daily blackouts in the hotel, in connection with which, for some reason, the water in the rooms is also turned off.
6. The food is VERY (! ) tasteless and monotonous: total and constant chicken in different forms, lamb was twice, beef more often, but tough as a sole. Red sausages not eaten for breakfast are crumbled into "meat" stew for lunch, and for dinner - into pizza. In the street after dinner, tasteless donuts are fried; when no one wants to eat them, they transfer the donuts to a nearby hotel.
7. VERY (! ) small territory. The hotel is already in June (! ) full, places on the beach and near the pool need to be taken very early. Almost everything is packed with vacationers: the sea, the beach, the pool, bars - in general, the entire territory.
8. Seventy-year-old vacationers can come to dinner in shorts, and twenty-year-olds only in long trousers - apparently so as not to seduce the wives of seventy-year-old vacationers. Strange attitude towards people, to be honest.
9. VERY (! ) a lot of incredibly biting mosquitoes, which is not quite common in Turkey.
10. Savings (or rather, wild GREED) in everything: food, air conditioning (disabled in general places of recreation), service.
11. Killer price/quality ratio even for Turkey. However, I do not exclude the possibility that this is not the fault of the hotel, but the indefatigable greed of Russian-Ukrainian travel agencies. So, a similar tour for two, but from Sweden (! ) for our neighbors turned out to be 25% cheaper. Apparently, in Sweden, either the purchasing power of the population or the greed of tour operators is 25% lower.
12. In the rooms between the bedroom and the bathroom / toilet there is not a wall, but a transparent partition. Perhaps there is some kind of perverted romance in this, but in reality it is very uncomfortable and uncomfortable.
Pros:
1. Good service for the disabled.
2. The lack of good meat dishes is compensated by an abundance of good vegetable dishes.
3. Ice cream all day and everywhere.
4. Spacious rooms.
My conclusions and sincere recommendations:
1. The hotel is clearly not a five-star hotel, it does not meet modern requirements for a good seaside holiday at all.
2. Only very elderly couples who are indifferent to delicious food, clean beaches and swimming in the sea may like it.
3. It may also appeal to elderly people with disabilities, but only to vegetarians.
4. If you still decide, book rooms only "sea front" (direct sea view) or "sea view" (almost direct), - at least a good view from the balcony will please.
5. Do not under any circumstances participate in persistent polls about the opinion of vacationers about the hotel, at least do not give out your email address. Apparently, it is from these addresses that admiring reviews about the hotel are then sent to the famous, most visited travel sites. At least, I, a traveler with great experience and a fairly high degree of tolerance (see my reviews of other hotels) - could not find other reasonable explanations of how high ratings of this hotel and rave reviews about it could appear on sites I respect. By the way, after such surveys, the hotel does not get any better: the chicken that is boring to everyone is not replaced by other types of meat, the air conditioning is not turned on, the beach is not cleaned, and dogs with mosquitoes do not disappear anywhere.
6. (Related not to the hotel, but to the tour operator PEGAS, Kyiv). As a result of moving the flight to Turkey 8 hours ahead and departure from Turkey 7 hours ago, my family lost 15 (! ) Hours of rest and got a sleepless night in return - without any change in the price of the tour. We learned about each of these transfers the day before. We did not receive any explanation or compensation from our tour operator. As a result, the tour operator "PEGAS" (Kyiv) will never be our tour operator again, we will strongly recommend to all our friends, acquaintances and colleagues who love quality service to refrain from its services and bypass it on the tenth road.
7. Do not be disappointed in Turkey, as I was not disappointed in it - even after staying in this hotel and receiving services from this tour operator. Turkey is a wonderful, hospitable country with a large number of excellent and very good hotels for every taste. And there are such unpleasant exceptions to the rule everywhere. HAVE A NICE HOLIDAY!

Nightmare! ! ! The first time such a disappointment ....policy of the hotel and its owner - The hotel is only for the elderly, very elderly and disabled GERMANS.... what a romantic +18 and Russians…. . the guys are not happy to turn us there and we have nothing to do there ...it’s a pity that magnificent maids and bartenders work in such a nightmare (especially the super bartender Osman respect you and good luck). A huge request to tour operators to clarify with the owner if the hotel was built only for the Germans, why sell it and offer it on the Russian market (the cost of the hotel is not SMALL .... ) and two or three people from the staff and all shows, games, etc. speak Russian. also not for us (lotto in German is like you ....super), the romantic singer performed music without a voice at all, even the German guests could not stand it and sang like that alone ....that even celebrities can envy his voice, there is no Russian music at all, and why? ….
We had the opinion that the hotel saves on everything, before entertaining guests, you need to check the program and repertoire (and I can sing, “I also have a voice ...I also want to sing”).
Now about the beach, if it can be called that (didn’t you try to walk on the heads? ) But here this is the norm, but you know why ...the owner built two hotels for himself, and the beach, at best, is designed for one + other hotels so close to each other that everything mixed + 1.2. 3. coastlines…. when everyone meets on the beach, you can't go to the sea.
A little about the food we are not picky people but…. . Turkey for us, first of all, the show was so in all hotels ....except for Commodore Elite Suites & Spa 5*…(which Elite? ? ? ? What is it…) dress code is MANDATORY (it’s the owner didn’t forget… we go to dinner in high heels, in dresses, trousers…. super vacation in the heat) and the food is served as usually ...well, let's say like in a good restaurant, and the variety is lame.
Advice for the host: “You wouldn’t be walking along the beach with the girls (you yourself saw it more than once), but you would travel to other hotels and learn! ”, we recommend Papillon Zeugma 5* Belek…. that's where everything is on 5 +++.
The Commodore Hotel is of course modern, new, and the air conditioners in most rooms are either junk or do not work at all ...there is nothing to breathe, not for the staff, not for the guests (the reception floor and the central restaurant).
The rooms are very spacious, interesting everything you need to eat, we had a side view of the sea, everything would be fine, but the san. knot…. guys, at least the door to the toilet should be made tighter, I understand everything romantic, but nature ...and listening to interesting moments of our bodies (even if you love each other very much) is not very pleasant ...and smells, what is romance? !
To tell you a not very funny story, we met the newlyweds, here is their story ...the guys arrived immediately after the celebration, in a suit and in a white dress (very beautiful), they enter the hotel.
And they are told that you are not declared as newlyweds (the guys called their tour operator who sent them and they confirmed that everything was declared) they give the keys to the room (already super ...or someone will object? ) in the room there are two separate beds ..... all they could do was move them…. Now imagine yourself...the guys never waited for no champagne, no fruit (although they went to the reception and reminded of themselves twice) and slept ...in the gap between two beds ...you would not wish such a honeymoon to anyone .......The question is who is responsible for spoiling the celebration?
Any self-respecting hotel, having seen the bride and groom (even if they were not announced), would have acted, we are sure differently ....completely different!
And I won’t raise our story at all ...the only thing I will say is that I have never heard or seen such rudeness anywhere and I just don’t want to remember this hotel ......
The only thing that saved us was that we were together and made friends with wonderful people, as well as the smiles of the staff, who for the most part also became our friends ....I repeat once again SUPER BARTENDER OSMAN! ! ! ! And my husband and I walk along the promenade, when everyone is already sleeping ...the moon, the sea and the two of us HERE IS ROMANCE!
We love Turkey very much and hope that our meeting will take place again, but WE WILL NEVER FORGET this vacation…. . WHAT A PITY……. FAREWELL Commodore Elite Suites & Spa 5* AND FOREVER.
The only goal guys do not make our mistake…… the money is not returned and the holiday is ruined!

The hotel is very good! True, check-in after 14 darkens the mood after a sleepless night. The rooms are beautiful, the territory is very small, but there is a promenade nearby where you can walk if you wish. The sea is very close, a bit crowded on the beach. The sunbeds are tight due to the small area of the beach, however, there was enough space.

The sunbeds are tight due to the small area of the beach, however, there was enough space. The nice thing is that drinks and ice-cold cooling towels were delivered all the time and there were refrigerators with drinks on the beach. The staff is very very nice and helpful. The food is good, but in the mornings there was really not enough fresh juice - the absence of which is too strange for this level of the hotel. The hotel does not accept children under 16 years old and therefore the hotel has complete relaxation without the screams and cries of spoiled children. The staff is so attentive that they even sent a Happy New Year greeting card - this is the first time in a 13-year vacation in Turkey !! ! Not far from the hotel there are shops and a track with dolmush in Side and Manavgat. And the promenade is just lovely.

We stayed at this hotel at the beginning of September 2012. Liked. New hotel, everything is clean, nothing is broken yet, everything works. We booked the Elite Suite and didn't regret it one bit. The room is great! Large enough, bathroom with 2 washbasins, shower. The design is unusual, interesting and very comfortable.

Bathrobes, slippers, beach bag are included. View of the pool and the sea, lying on the bed and admiring all this - beauty! The beach is narrow and long, but that didn't spoil the experience. Free sun loungers are always available. By the way, they are comfortable and soft. Drinks are served on the beach, frozen wet towels are cleaned. There are refrigerators with drinks, as well as throughout the hotel. Nice bar where you can also have lunch. There are showers, toilets and changing rooms. Who cares - the beach is marked with a blue flag. The beach is located across a beautiful, well-groomed pedestrian alley. Everyone is taking pictures and walking around. In the evening it is illuminated. The left people do not enter the territory of the hotel because there is a guard at the entrance who looks after this. The hotel area is practically absent - just walk around the pool, but everything is very beautiful. And despite the fact that the hotel is new, there is no lack of greenery. Everywhere plants, palm trees, flowers. Everything is compact, who needs to walk, walk - forward to the alley)) The kitchen is also on top. Huge selection of everything. They do themed dinners - Italian cuisine, for example. Everything is delicious. From alcohol tried only wine. We could not drink local and once bought a bottle of Italian for 48 euros. As for a regular Pinot Grigio, well, quite expensive. Animation every evening, sometimes very cool, sometimes mediocre. When we were there, about 70% of the guests were from Europe - Poland, Sweden, Italy, England and, of course, Germany. These are the ones we were able to identify. The rest are Russia and Ukraine. Age over 30 or even over 40. The staff mostly speaks English and German. In Russian, only basic words are known. But there are always Russian speakers at the reception. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The absence of children is very noticeable - the hotel is quiet, calm. Near the pool, half of the female representatives are topless. But there are also disadvantages. 1. Pillows in the room. Really. They are 30 centimeters high! There are even more. When asked to bring soft pillows, they brought the same spherical and hard ones. Who loves such people - it's good, who sleeps without a pillow - too, but you won't envy those who are used to being on a small, soft one. By the way, I'm not the only one with this problem. Two couples from Russia with whom we met also suffered. 2. A la carte restaurants. It just doesn't taste good. There are two of them, and if the cook does not change there, then there is nothing to do there. Feel free to ignore. 3. Lack of ice cream on the beach, and during the day. It was served here only for dinner. But a three-minute walk along the alley, just behind the bridge, you could buy it. 4. Non-sea view rooms. There aren't many, though! As it was with our friends - at five in the morning a garbage truck arrives (it makes holes like a Soviet tractor) and pours out all 12 containers of garbage and bottles with such noise that the dead will get up. Then the car goes to two neighboring hotels and does the same with a little less noise. By six, all this ends and the morning prayer begins in a nearby mosque. They managed to change the number only on the third day. In general, the hotel is very worthy of attention. . Who wants to relax, without noise, drunken companies, screaming children, then choose the Commodore. Beautiful, modern, unobtrusive.

Good afternoon. We rested at Commodore Elite Suites & Spa 5 * from May 5 to May 15. We went from Teza. We were looking for a quiet hotel and we found it. When we drove to the hotel, there was no information and therefore we were in the dark. I thought that there would be some construction work going on in the hotel, but the hotel was completely ready to receive guests.

We arrived at the hotel at 11.00, filled out the cards and Gulnura immediately issued the keys to the room. The room has everything a tourist might need. I won't repeat myself.
If something does not suit you in the room, you can contact Oksana or Gulnura and they will help solve your problems. Everyone is very attentive and responsive.
From Teza in the hotel is Fatma. Very nice, sweet girl. It was a pleasure to communicate with her.
Some little things: a toilet with a glass door. Nice, but not very comfortable. There are different situations in life. The bathroom has poor drainage.
There were no complaints about cleaning the room.
Nutrition. Much has already been written about this. I'll add a little. In the morning, milk porridges were very pleasing. For many tourists, this was a lifesaver. I want something "homemade". The food is very varied, everyone could find something for themselves. But in my opinion, a very small selection of dietary dishes.
I can't say anything about alcohol. I did not try.
For me, the main thing is coffee. Turkish coffee was only properly brewed in a pastry shop.
The main contingent is elderly Europeans. They are constantly eating and drinking. In general, there were very few young people. Maybe things will change over time.
There is practically no animation. But we didn't need it. We wanted silence and we got it. I went to the disco a couple of times. There were almost no people.
Beach. You don't have to take sunbeds in the morning. There are always free ones. The Germans occupy sunbeds near the beach bar. Volleyball is played on the beach and balls are thrown into the sand. Beach towels can be changed from 9.00 to 11.00, for us it was not very convenient. In the evening, the towel is not changed, there is no place to dry it.
Throughout the territory there is WI-FI. But you need a password. Your room number and date of birth, and then another password is given. In general, "troubles".
RESULT: We really liked the hotel. A relaxing holiday was important to us and we got it. Who needs a quiet, comfortable stay, he can confidently go here. I will gladly come back here again. Inna.
