The mini-fridge that is in the room only works if it is pulled out of the niche closet, where the attendants successfully put it, that is, the refrigerator must stand in an open place, otherwise there is no ventilation and it defrosts, flows and does not keep the temperature. We pulled the refrigerator out into the aisle, so a few days later the cleaning lady put it back into the closet and it thawed and dripped, and the food that was in it went bad.
About Wi-Fi - a separate song. Wai wai no, the speed is -65 k / bps. For reference, this is 2 times lower than what a mobile operator in Russia gives at the lowest speed when the paid package ends. At this speed, you can hardly enter sites, mail may not load at all. Social networks do not load well. During peak hours, Wi-Fi is generally useless. You can’t even talk about watching videos at this speed, it’s not possible. In general, in Turkey there is a problem with high-quality wi-fi, but in this hotel - especially. In other hotels, at least the speed of Wi-Fi is 2 times higher than in this hotel.
About nutrition:
The food does not correspond to 5 *. As always, Turkey is famous for its sweet table, but this is not in this hotel. Apparently the chef doesn't know how to cook. The assortment of the sweet table is sufficient, but the table is not tasty. You can eat only 1-2 types of sweets, the rest is the translation of products. What is grilled and fried is often burnt (for 5 * I think this is not acceptable).
Cheeses are not cheeses, but cheese products. Sausages are just a hint of them. Their color makes it doubtful that they are made of meat. We have any of the cheapest sausages at a social price many times better than what they give under the guise of sausages. I was just curious to try what kind of sausages it was - you can’t eat it. The assortment of sausages is sufficient, but the quality leaves much to be desired. It seems that many product names are exhibited purely to confirm the stardom, but the quality suffers. For me, it's better to put out 1-2 species, but of good quality, and not for "eye diversion".
Lettuce leaves in the restaurant lie whole, but you can’t eat them, because they are poorly washed - the sand crunches on your teeth.
For breakfast there were pancakes, scrambled eggs, eggs in a bag and hard boiled, sometimes there was an omelette, sliced sausages and cheese (not recommended), buns, vegetable slices (tomatoes, cucumbers, herbs), olives, olives, muesli, fruits, porridge, milk. In the morning I do not recommend taking porridge, because all the time it turned out to be undercooked.
You have to be prepared for the fact that you will have to stand in line for scrambled eggs and pancakes
Of course, you will not stay hungry, but there will not be a wide variety and frills here. The European four for food will be far superior to this five-star hotel.
The beach is far from the hotel 15 minutes on foot or 3 minutes by bus. There is a free bus. But the schedule is poorly adhered to, maybe 5 minutes earlier to leave, maybe a little late. At the end, additional buses were launched, it turned out, on average, a bus arrived after 15 minutes. During the day in the heat it is better to take the bus. The beach is sandy, the entrance to the water is good, there are no stones. Beach towels are provided free of charge.
By placement:
Arrived late, around 11pm. Posted right away. There were no sheets in the room to cover. This issue was already resolved the next day. We didn't get dinner on arrival. Came in for a late dinner (23:00-00:00). There was nothing. There was a salad consisting of onions and a few pieces of tomato (mainly onions), soup, bread, butter. We ate bread and butter (they were hungry, because they didn’t feed us on the plane, they only gave us water. North Wind Airlines).
The rooms are large (they took the standard), a table, a mirror, a TV, a mini-fridge, a wardrobe, bedside tables, 2 beds (one double, one single, a sofa), air conditioning, a hairdryer, shower gel, shampoo, hair conditioner. There are no bathrobes in the room, no slippers either (bring the slippers with you, if the bathrobe is fundamentally important, then bring it with you). Of the minuses - the blankets are all in spools.
Room cleaning every day.
Host Pegasus. I do not advise this company, because the guide is only interested in selling you an excursion, and then she loses all interest in you. The questions can be answered that now there is no time, come tomorrow, and feed tomorrow and run away from you. In addition, it gives false information, as a result of which it is not possible to receive the declared service, and you also find yourself in situations where you find yourself in an awkward position. As a result of incorrectly provided information, we could not get into the a la carte restaurant (the price of the tour included 1 visit to this restaurant, visit by appointment).
The hotel had a disco. At the disco mostly foreigners (Europeans, the leading value - the British). But the disco takes place quite late - beginning at 00 o'clock and until 2-00 o'clock.
Animation was also in the hotel. Went by the pool. But every day the program is the same, only in the evening it is different. Karaoke takes place once a week. The animators tried their best to the best of their ability (for super-professionals, of course, they are far away, but at an amateur level it is quite normal) For children - a mini club, there is a Russian-speaking girl. The mini club is great for kids.
There is a Russian-speaking girl at the reception, her name is Katya. But other receptionists also understand Russian. If you speak a little English, then there are no problems at all in communication. They said something in Russian, that they did not understand - they clarified it in English.
The contingent is mostly Russian, some Europeans (British, Poles, Dutch, immigrants from the former Yugoslavia)
Lunch packages are not provided for early departure from the hotel, so you need to take care of meals in advance. (especially if you are flying on a charter where meals are not included).
Conclusion: I do not recommend the hotel for visiting with children, as there may be problems with food. I also do not recommend going to this hotel at all, because theft and wrecking are not allowed in the hotel, especially in 5 *. All other disadvantages can be experienced, adapted to them.
There are a lot of flies in the restaurant, the tablecloths are heavily worn, the tables are often dirty
Upon arrival, we (me, wife, 4-year-old daughter) were given a kennel room, a bed was placed end-to-end from the wall to the window and instead of a pedestal, they threw her onto the balcony, they shoved a cot... I had to make a fuss so that the room was changed to a normal one (in this hotel is the norm. . . )
Tourists from the Russian Federation are almost always accommodated in the distant third building... and the attitude is appropriate . .
The food is monotonous, in general, it’s normal for an adult, but you can’t find soup for children . .
Sun loungers by the pool from 7 in the morning are booked by foreigners at zero, for the whole day....You will find a high chair at most....
Rotavirus, and we picked it up on day 3, in this hotel bypasses only a few....there is no mercury thermometer at the reception, they shrug like your problems, who brought what....
Disco - on the minus second floor from 00:00-02:00, take alcohol on the floor above in the bar, Music for the contingent (I noticed young Turks around the hotel in search of Balzac foreign mothers....), but overall sadness...
Summary: feeling like you got fucked for your money, the fifth time in Turkey, this is the most blatant five (under five... )
The good thing is that the steam room, the sauna is free from 9 to 21 pm, we visited regularly. 2. The gym is not bad, but children are not allowed, although they make an exception for the Germans, my child was kicked out although he was with his father, and he is familiar with exercise equipment, he goes in for sports at home (the child is almost 11 years old), it was a shame when you see that German children can but ours is not. These are perhaps all the comments, although there is one more thing - the animation is not very good, because there is something to compare with ! ! ! Maybe I'm biased, but in contests there is an interesting attitude towards Russians, all answers should be in English, even if the answer was correct in Russian, the animator explained that they say Russians are only 8% and not everyone understands what you are saying, again compatriots - learn English! According to the numbers, ours was in building 1, on the third floor, everything would be fine, but loud music strained until 23-00, because the child and I tried to fall asleep due to the time difference (6 hours), but without result, but over time you get used to it.
Cleaning was regular, but not very high quality, soap items were put on arrival were no longer replenished, towels were changed, but not all, sheets 2 times. Bedspreads are synthetic (no duvet cover) so not very nice. The great thing is that the room has internet access to communicate with the house without any problems, given the cost of telephone conversations. The food is very good for both children and adults, meat (not only chicken) - beef, lamb, liver, always available, fish is also, although not very tasty. Vegetables, fruits, dried fruits, honey jam, etc. are in abundance. Juices, wines, etc. too. I also forgot that the water in the room was not left regularly, reminded repeatedly. Beach towels are given as a deposit for $ 10, the safe is paid, but these are necessary costs. The hotel guide Victoria will explain everything in an accessible way and help if necessary. I recommend trips because there is something to see in Turkey.
Be sure to visit antique Side, on the shuttle bus number 5 to antique Side, the trip will cost $ 2 per person, the bus runs regularly. As for the currency, I read in the review that you need to take euros, although I used to take dollars myself, this time I took both, but I still recommend dollars, because they (the Turks) use the conversion coefficient very strangely, in short purchases dollars are cheaper. For shopping in the vicinity of the hotel, there is a small market about 300 meters away, you can and should bargain, they don’t drop the price especially, in some places even aggression is shown (they can send). I recommend visiting a small but cozy Han souvenir shop (like so) it's easy to find - 3rd from the road in the first row. The meeting with our former compatriot Marina is especially pleasant, you will be treated to delicious tea and unobtrusively offered souvenirs, sweets, coffee, tea, etc. It is worth noting that the prices in their shop are noticeably lower than in others.
It seems that she wrote everything, in general, everything is fine, the child was pleased, especially the free ice cream from 15 to 17, the ice cream is really not bad. Many thanks to the hotel staff for a pleasant stay and personally to Katya. Everything else about what I did not write read in previous reviews, everything is true. Thank you all again.
In general, the hotel exceeded my expectations, it is very neat, clean, the staff is polite, speaks as many as four languages, but best of all, of course, in Turkish and German. But in Russian they will try to understand you.
1. Location - located in the western part of side, that is, closer to the airport, drove 40 minutes, from the beach - 7 minutes on foot with a child, we walked with pleasure, although there is a regular service to the beach. Near the market with souvenirs, clothes, etc.
2. The beach is wonderful, gently sloping, sand, but there were often waves, I don’t know, maybe it depends on the time of year, but all the kids splashed. The sea is beautiful and clean.
3. Food - the choice is huge, everything is delicious, there are fish, meat, vegetables, fruits, desserts. Who needed a round-the-clock bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, water, juices, coffee... the pool bar is almost round the clock, the beach bar is from 8 to 18.00. Everyone seemed to be happy. Also, at the pool bar and on the beach, you could eat from 11 to 18.00 approximately, many ate there, but we wanted variety. There is also ice cream near the pool from 15 to 17, cakes from 11 to 14.00... children's snacks... you could eat around the clock, if you wish.
4. Numbers. I was supposed to have a single, but they put me in a room with a large bed, there was also a medium bed and a sofa, and a balcony, everything is of course new and beautiful. air conditioning and TV with Russian channels were, but we did not use.
5. The staff is very polite and efficient, perhaps because the hotel is new, they tried very hard. She didn’t give tips to anyone and encouragement when settling in too, there is no such habit.
6. Although the information indicates paid beach towels, they gave new and clean ones daily to the room for free, but you have to take them to the beach.
7. There was a sauna and spa, fitness equipment, but they didn’t even go down to this floor.
8. in general, 5 stars are drawn everywhere in the hotel, but so far, apparently, it is positioned as 4 for promotion.
9. In general, they never regretted it!!
10. and yes, the animation was in the evening and afternoon by the pool and a little on the beach. children's disco in the evening. A playground with swings and a slide where children of all nationalities frolicked, a mini-club with some games and crafts, but we didn’t go there.
a lot of food and ultra all inclusive I highly recommend I’m crazy about this hotel so you won’t regret going again we’ll eat in summer and winter and want to go to this hotel oh I almost forgot cool slides and it’s so interesting we also went to darving oooooh it’s generally cool yak ewww and the hotel is so cool that the roof was blown off at all
