First time in Turkey. We give the hotel 5+. We arrived from the airport at about 10:00, settled us very quickly, we did not have to wait until 14:00. The hotel is beautiful, a very high quality level of service, despite the small territory everything is beautiful and compact, very friendly staff, very tasty, high quality and varied food, a huge amount of fruit and a magnificent promenade along the sea. … More ▾ First time in Turkey. The hotel is beautiful, a very high quality level of service, despite the small territory everything is beautiful and compact, very friendly staff, very tasty, high quality and varied food, a huge amount of fruit and a magnificent promenade along the sea.
Charming girls - guest relations managers Elena and Irina, a special THANK YOU to them, are always ready to help. I have never experienced such care and concern anywhere else.
The SEFA animator lights up the whole day. Darts, archery. Also in the evening in the bar, the same excellent animator constantly turns on everyone without exception. Live music was also great every day.
Fine restaurants and cafes, in bars an excellent choice of drinks. Service in the rooms is also at the level, wet cleaning daily! And for the first time I was faced with the lack of bracelets.
No one bothers photographers and sellers in shops on site, as usual in Turkey, and this is super.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and will definitely come back and recommend it to my friends.

But unfortunately the wonderful impression of the hotel four days before departure was spoiled by an unpleasant incident. We booked a table at the "Akasia" restaurant. There were no dishes for children on the menu (children have allergies). We made an order for adults. While the dishes were being prepared, the daughter took the children to eat in a common restaurant located five meters away. I stayed at the table to wait for the ordered dishes. After 15 minutes, the waiter Asman from the Akasiya restaurant ran up to his daughter with the children and began to shout furiously that we had no right to eat in two restaurants. He screamed as if he had caught the criminals in the act. At his cry, the rest at the neighboring tables turned. My daughter and eldest granddaughter returned to the Akasiya restaurant, where the waiter Asman defiantly removed the finished order from the table and began to indicate that we had 5 minutes to leave the restaurant. Lena helped resolve this conflict. The general manager apologized, but the impression of the rest in this hotel was very spoiled. I don't want this waiter serving you.

What can be said about the hotel - this is the worst hotel we have been to in Turkey and much of what is written here is not entirely true. But let's start in order and with positive aspects. What can be said about the hotel - this is the worst hotel we have been to in Turkey and much of what is written here is not entirely true. But let's start in order and with positive aspects. The hotel rooms leave a good impression - clean, daily replenishment of the mini-bar, fruit in the room upon arrival, free safe. Variety and quality of food on a solid 4. This is where it ends. The territory of the hotel is very small and walks are possible only along the common promenade. There is NO beach near the hotel, but there is only a place where there are umbrellas and sun loungers, and it is impossible to swim in the sea. For swimming in the sea, they offer the beach of a neighboring hotel, where the situation is not much better, but there is about 20 meters of normal entry into the sea, on which two rather big hotels are trying to accommodate. The density is impressive. They write about unobtrusive animation - it's not true, it's simply NOT! The hotel apparently decided to save money and maintain its own theater instead of inviting artists to the evening show, and recruit the theater from its own animators. And as a result - no animation, no evening show. The evening show generally deserves a separate story, but oh well. The kids' evening show involves playing the same songs over and over in the same order day in and day out, don't expect more. Children remember animators from past hotels by name, not a single one from Barut Hotels Arum 5 *. I would like to advise the hotel staff to walk along the embankment at the end of their evening show and listen or watch the evening show in other hotels, since it is 2 times longer there, you will see a lot, even in the same barut chimera.
And now the highlight of Arum is the rudeness of the staff. We have definitely never seen anything like this, and we would not like to see it anymore. We order a glass of wine with my wife for lunch, bring a jug, pour it into glasses (what they say that they bring a bottle is not true, the hotel does not provide a bottled drink service, they bring a bottle if you buy it for an additional fee of about $ 40 per bottle) . We drink, and at the bottom of the FLY, and both her and me. I call the waiters, they say that it’s NORMAL because it’s summer and the wind, they offer to renew the glasses and immediately completely stop understanding and expressing themselves in Russian, and the word “manager” is also incomprehensible to them. I find the restaurant manager, he also says that this is NORMAL and you can either pull out the flies or order another wine, which will probably be without flies. There was no point in further conversation, the complaint was left, NO apologies were made. The representative of the tour operator (Olga, Coral Travel) replied that she deals only with accommodation issues, and the rest is beyond her competence. Question to Coral Travel - is it so?
By the way, the Germans do not rest in the hotel on an all-inclusive basis, they buy drinks separately (probably learned from bitter experience), and therefore they serve them to the table in bottles.
I frankly do not recommend this hotel for visits, the choice is huge, this one is not worth it to spend your time and money on it.

The journey was not long, less than an hour. I liked the look of the hotel right away. We were settled on the 6th floor, room No. 1606. The room was a corner room with a view of the pool and the sea. In the room itself were: plasma, double bed, extra bed (we were 2 adults + child). On the balcony there is a table and two chairs. Bathroom with shower. Cosmetics were included (soap, shampoo, etc. ) Bathrobes and slippers were provided. Mini bar replenished daily (water, beer, juices, soda). The rooms are cleaned daily. Upon arrival, a plate of fruit was brought to the room. Food was plentiful. Everything is delicious. There was meat, fish, grill, kebabs, sausages, cheeses, vegetables, fruits, sweets. . . Just enough. There is a diet, children's table. There are highchairs for children. Freshly squeezed juice at the entrance to the restaurant --- free of charge, in any quantity. Watermelons and strawberries were served for dinner in large quantities. Of course, they didn’t feed borscht and soup with meatballs, but the first one was for lunch, and for the evening you could always choose something from the two offered. Everyone will find something to their liking. Staff service is good. The waiters will always kindly offer you juices, water, drinks. Everyone understands Russian and even says something.
