One tour operator CORAL TRAVEL (UKRAINE) sells tours to this hotel, so let's start with the dishonesty of this tour operator. When buying a tour during a pandemic, we repeatedly asked the travel agent / tour operator whether the entire infrastructure of the hotel (lifts, SPA) would work, we were assured that only municipal lifts were not working, and everything would work at a 5-star hotel. In fact, the SPA in the hotel has not been working since the beginning of the COVID-19 epidemic, and the lifts are turned off, both municipal and hotel ones, for the weekend. The hotel does not have a tour operator desk, and when you ask a question at the reception how to find a hotel guide, they answer you, call the tour operator. The hotel guide comes to the hotel only on your call. By the way, there is no tour operator desk at the airport either, and you yourself have to find your own bus for boarding.
We arrived at 7.00 in the morning, after going through all the customs procedures at the airport and independently searching for a group transfer, we found a bus that stood with open doors, not started and not warmed up, and it was -19 degrees below zero and the tourists who flew in to rest, 80% are families with children, to my request to close the door, start the bus and turn on the stove, the driver said that he did not understand either Russian or English. After that, I got off the bus and found a representative of the tour operator, brought to the bus where the frozen children were sitting, including my child, and forced him to start the bus, close the door. No one turned on the stove on the bus.
Upon arrival at the hotel - it was 9 o'clock - we were told that we could have lunch at 13.00. This is considering the fact that we were on the road all night, then we rode in a cold bus and we can have breakfast, because. tomorrow from 7-10.00. My question is, what about breakfast? They said okay, go ahead. They did a favor for us. Although tomorrow I will repeat at the hotel from 7-10.
Then there was check-in, the room was good, but the kettle, tea and all accessories were taken from the room, when asked why, this is a 5-star hotel and everything should be, they answered us - COVID-19. How this is connected with a kettle and disposable tableware in the room remains unclear. Also, such accessories as a toothbrush, paste, shaving gel, a machine - the hotel has everything, but they do not put them in the room and give them only after you call the reception. The service in this hotel is not just lame, it frankly does not exist! No one is taking any sanitary measures required for COVID-19.
Separately, I want to say about the restaurant - this is the worst place in this hotel. 3 star hotel food range. Onion rings for breakfast! Are you seriously? Do all Turks eat onion rings tomorrow?? ? My indignation knew no bounds. It came to me to go to the reception and ask for oatmeal to be prepared for the children in the morning. The assortment for breakfast is as follows - boiled, fried, scrambled eggs. For 7 days you can crow! Grilled Turkish sausage is a "delicious dish", onion rings, vegetables, cheese, Belgian waffles. It's all and every day, the same thing. Lunch is one kind of soup, no one eats it. Rice is the only side dish for lunch and dinner. Sometimes there was pasta. Meat, chicken, fish all in one copy without assortment.
If you do not come to the beginning of breakfast, lunch or dinner, then the food is cold, there are huge queues, the attendants walk slowly and very importantly, as if they are resting, and the Tourists are straining them. PRACTICALLY NO ONE OF THE STAFF KNOWS ENGLISH. Nobody wipes the tables after people, only if you poke the waiter's nose straight, then he deigns to take a wet rag and wipe it. I am generally silent about tea, coffee and other drinks, “the efficiency of the waiters went off scale”, sometimes you ask for tea, you wait... you go and make tea yourself... you drink... and voila - the waiter brings you tea.
90% of the hotel are Turks and 10% Ukrainians or Russians. So, as soon as you start speaking Russian or English. yaz, almost all the hotel staff behave very ugly, they may not notice you, they ignore your requests. Maybe in our homeland we should also treat the Turks this way?
We were driving to a hotel where everything was supposed to work, the travel agent/tour operator said so. We go down to the SPA, but the SPA does not work. And the sweetest girl offers us $ 200 to open it for us for 1 hour)))) We, of course, refused such an offer and asked the travel agent / tour operator how the SPA does not work. Yes? Does not work? Strange - it was the answer of a travel agent / tour operator, but instead of a SPA you want a free tour of the city. Travel agent/tour operator, are you out of your mind? We paid the full cost of the tour with all the options... Do you understand this travel agent / tour operator?
And then 01/01/21 came and the non-working SPA was supplemented by non-working lifts, a ban on walking on the slopes of the mountains, and even children were not allowed to walk on the playgrounds. It was the same on 01/02/21 and 01/03/2021, because It turns out that on December 26.2020, the President of Turkey signed an order to lockdown the weekend! Let me remind you that my tour began on 12/30/2020 and the travel agent / tour operator that all these instructions do not apply to tourists, only to Turks.
To our indignation, the hotel guide said - all claims against your travel agents / tour operators, and the travel agent / tour operator, in turn, says “force majeure”, if you want a free tour, visit, as compensation for the fact that we just sat in the hotel for 3 days, like “prisoners IF Castle, where the food is disgusting and there is no service.
The hotel management, the hotel guide - refused to provide an official letter that nothing was working at the hotel.
Upon arrival in Ukraine, neither the travel agent nor the tour operator contacted the tourists, did not offer any options for compensating for services that were paid in full and not used.
