My husband and I chose another hotel of this chain - Ideal Panorama. In the photo we liked the views and a large green area. Booked from 4 to 11 August at Anex. For some reason the booking was successfully confirmed. (True, about 5 minutes before the confirmation, I noticed that the site had reduced the price by 2500 UAH, but by the time I called our travel agent, the confirmation of the reservation had already arrived, and it was too late to argue, as well as to cancel, well, apparently Aneks needs this money more. )
So, the right to choose was taken away from us, and on the day of departure they warned that we would be settled in Premium. I was ready for this - I saw a review (alas, after confirmation). Premium, we would not have voluntarily chosen. Yes, it is a star higher, and more expensive. But there is absolutely no territory, as well as greenery, views too, the beach is either urban, or go homeless to the Prime beach of the same network, or paid. From Panorama, at least officially, you can go to Prime, and even closer.
I do not want to say that the hotel is bad, we just prepared for a completely different one.

The room was given 122 - with a view of the neighboring hotel and the roof. They didn't try to change, it's ok. The bed is comfortable, although short. Husband 186cm, feet sticking out in the aisle. The air conditioner is working, but the trouble is either with the remote control itself, or with the batteries in it. The safe is working. The TV also included only the music channel though. Fan is weak. Cleaning every day. They even changed the bed once. Hair conditioner and body lotion were not reported.
The design of the hotel building seemed illogical to me; until the last day, sometimes I could not immediately figure out where to go.
The pool area is good. The sun loungers are comfortable. Towels are tidy. The cocktails at the bar are delicious, but depends on the bartender.
Breakfast/lunch/dinner is served in the main restaurant. Usually everything is tasty and plentiful, a couple of times they were only not completely satisfied with the menu. In a previous review I saw about red fish, we were so unlucky. There is also a snack bar and a patisserie by the pool. The donuts and ice cream are just amazing.
From 23 to 00 you can take a sandwich there by the pool. A la carte disappointed, the menu is not for everyone, but at least they drank champagne there for a change. By the way, the waiters are great, the staff at the issue, too, everyone is friendly. What can you say about the reception. And without knowing English, they won’t try to help you at all (I was a witness to the dialogue). And don't count on a wakeup call, even if you're on the list.
There was no animation as such. One evening, sitting at the bar, we unexpectedly caught the performance of a juggler-bartender (amazing, by the way) and an acrobat dancer. Twice got to live singing, twice to live music. But it was very helpful, we liked the whole program.
Don't be afraid of the city beach. Yes, locals come there in the evening, and there are no free sun loungers and umbrellas, but it is clean, the entrance to the sea is good, which cannot be said about Prime beach. No matter how carefully I got out of the water, I still cut myself on a stone on the last day.
I sincerely do not understand why they are not removed, they are really sharp, and besides, they are at a "childish" depth.

Excursions were taken from the Rainbow. Haven't seen prices below. Liked the quality. However, read the description carefully and immediately dispute if, for example, the guide rounds up the entrance fee to Pamukkale + Cleopatra's pool from $19 to $25. And they feed poorly.
We also took an ATV for $ 25 from Pasa for a day, 5 minutes walk from the hotel towards Icmeler. We actually went there first. There is a wild beach at the end of the village, an abandoned hotel above it is very atmospheric, and further along the highway there is a bombing observation deck.
After lunch, we went to the side of the Nimara cave. The cave is strem, even my husband wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. But for those who like to tickle their nerves, it's worth a visit. On the way to the cave, there are a huge number of gorgeous views, I filmed a video almost all the way.
Also, do not miss the beach on the other side of the Marina - there is an open sea, and it is even cleaner (it would seem, where already).
In the center of Marmaris, they did not find anything outstanding for themselves, except for the white streets (the street of bars, it seems) and the yacht parking. The dancing fountain was not turned on, apparently due to mourning in connection with the fires. We were not advised to go to the market, so we did not go. We bought sweets and other things near the hotel in a supermarket (packaged) and a shop (by weight, they are tastier). By the way, we found an amazing Turkish delight for $7, when everywhere it costs $12. They didn’t even bargain, but you can try.
Although the hotel was imposed on us, we were satisfied with the rest, all the negativity is quickly forgotten. Except perhaps for the vivid impressions that Anex employees gave us in abundance:
- The accompanying guide, having met us at the airport at the bus, did not say a word, she only wrote the date and time of the meeting with the hotel guide on the voucher. On the way, I clumsily read a short speech about Marmaris from a piece of paper.
She did not answer the questions of our fellow travelers about the current situation with fires. During our waiting for registration upon arrival at the hotel, she still silently turned around and left. And help with English would not hurt us.

- Our hotel guide Rosalia snatched almost 2 hours of precious morning time from us with her overly intrusive, sometimes aggressive convictions not to take excursions in street agencies (supposedly with a savings of a few dollars, but in fact TENS of dollars), as well as a stream of lies, in particular about that only groups from Anex, Coral, and something else are landed on Cleopatra's island. She insisted to return to the room for a voucher and hand it over to her. In general, the lady is so hypocritical that it is even disgusting to continue to describe the episodes with her participation.
- Her colleague Maxim, to whom Rosalia sent us during our next attempt to return her voucher, also managed to lecture us about excursions and even get angry that we do not want to buy them. He also lied to the question about the reason for settling us in another hotel. And our voucher was never found (in fact, it was not useful).
- And only the guide, who accompanied us on the way back to the airport, was sincerely nice and smoothed out all this surreal. Alas, I don't remember the girl's name.
That's all, I'll be glad if someone was useful. I'll be happy to answer questions
