Just returned from vacation, I want to tell you about everything in order. First you need to pay tribute to the Anex-tour. I go with them not for the first time, I myself scolded them more than once, but this time they did not disappoint. The plane was of the UIA company, flew wonderfully, was taken to the hotel also without incident. The girl who did the transfer was nice and sweet. I also liked the hotel guide Elkhan: he spoke excellent Russian, helped with everything and solved all problems. Special thanks to the guide on excursions, Mehmet, although it was sometimes difficult to understand him due to ignorance of Russian, but it was fun with him.
The hotel itself did not disappoint. And this is not the fault of the Anex tour, but, perhaps, the owner of the hotel, who, by the way, also rested in it at the same time as us. But in refutation of the comment that I read about the hotel, it should be said that Pegasus sends plenty of Russian tourists to it, and not only him.
So, in the hotel, despite all the descriptions, a lot of things are missing:

1. There is no A'la Carte restaurant - there is only one restaurant, the main one.
2. There is no bar. More precisely, he is, but in the restaurant and is open from 10 to 22.30. Further, either to the store or to neighboring bars, of which there are a lot, there would be money.
3. The pool is small and there is little space near it, but there were lovers of swimming there. Although the sea is 10 meters away
4. Everything in the room, as in the photo. Tele - plasma, mirrors, wardrobe. If you travel as a couple or as a family, then everything is fine. We went with three friends, two of us had to sleep in a double bed, since they don’t have rooms with three beds. Cleaned every day, towels changed when they began to leave the euro instead of the dollar, began to change bed linen every day. The bathroom has a shower, hairdryer, toilet. Everything is working. There is no safe in the room, but if you ask, they will bring it and put it. Safe fee $20 for 7 days.
5. The beach is private, its territory is small, but there was always a place. There was no garbage anywhere, a guy walked around and cleaned everything, helped to open umbrellas and showed free places. On the beach it was possible to take drinks from the bar, the glasses were then removed by the same guy. The sea is wonderful, cool, in the evening it was dirty, as it washed up garbage from yachts floating in the bay, but this is the case everywhere, it did not depend on the hotel. But in the morning it was beautiful: clean and transparent like glass.
6. There is no animation in the hotel, no. After the bar closed, the hotel was dying. Those who did not want to sleep went to a disco or to neighboring paid bars. I was pleased with the bar Honey Moon, located next door. Nice staff, nice atmosphere. There is no entertainment in the hotel. There are no baths, as it was written on some site. But you can go to it by buying a ticket from the guide, or go on your own. She's close. When buying excursions for more than 100 bucks, the guide arranged a trip to the bathhouse for free.

7. Food is scarce. European breakfast: scrambled eggs, salads, muesli, a large selection of jams, rolls or bread, and coffee, tea or cappuccino. Coffee and cappuccino pleased, you can drink. Lunch and dinner are more plentiful, you can eat, but they don’t pull on a 4-ku. Of the fruits, only melon and watermelon were given, once plums. There were plenty of them in other hotels. Even on excursions with anex there were more of them.
5. The excursions themselves were taken from the annex and did not regret it. Although they were more expensive than those of street guides, they were more comfortable. When we went to the Aegean Islands, the yacht was free despite the large number of people. We talked to a woman who traveled from a street firm, she said that so many people were packed that it was impossible to turn around. And no one will pay insurance if you go with someone else. And everything happens.
The contingent of the hotel was Russians, British, there were other Europeans, as well as Turks.
BUT, if you go to Marmaris to relax, swim in the sea, go to discos, and not criticize the hotel, or eat yourself to exhaustion, then Mehtap is great for relaxing.
Against the background of nearby hotels, it looked great, as the rest were shabby. The hotel staff is quite nice and friendly, the waiters, although silent, but they know their business. One was very friendly, learned a couple of words in Russian and spoke them to everyone, wishing them a good appetite and a good day. There was a very serious boy in the bar who could hardly understand Russian and even English, but the restaurant chef helped him. Although he was a little old, he was quite friendly and often smiled. The front desk clerks were also friendly and helpful.
In addition, the hotel is located near the center, 10 minutes walk to discos, as well as two supermarkets and many shops nearby.
Therefore, despite all the shortcomings of the hotel, if I go to Marmaris again, I will choose it, because usually I go on vacation not to eat and sit in the room, but to walk, meet people and swim in the sea. And this is all in Marmaris, and I want to return to this city. Therefore, probably, not only ours, but also foreigners return there.
