You will be delighted with the rest, if there are no surprises with the settlement.

We went with a family with an adult child to Mercoy Bella Vista 4 * in early October. We bought a suite type room (family) on a hot ticket. Hot - this is 5 days before the trip.
I liked the photos of the hotel, the price was right, we bought a tour and only then read shocking reviews. We mentally prepared ourselves for moving into basement rooms and a long, unsuccessful confrontation with the Turkish administration. However, at the reception they were pleasantly surprised: it seems that we were the only Russian speakers at that time who were given a luxurious room on the second floor.
The balcony overlooked the annex, where the owner of the hotel lives. We were the only Russian speakers on the floor. Toward the end of the holiday, they noticed that there were more Russians on the floor, and flocks of Germans met in the rooms on the minus floor.

ACCOMMODATION:
What they write about unpleasant surprises with the settlement is the absolute truth.

This seems to be the biggest problem of the hotel, which, judging by the reviews on various sites, has been dragging on from season to season for several years. Every day, the reception staff tried to reassure the newly arrived Russian-speaking tourists (Russians, Ukrainians, ... ), who received rooms on the minus floor: it really smells of dichlorvos and dampness, and some rooms have no windows at all.
The essence of surprises with the settlement - there are 2 types of rooms: "standard" and "suite". "Standard" of several types - more expensive and cheaper. It seems that tour operators are selling cheaper options to Russian-speaking tourists, passing them off as an expensive "standard", but at the same time, people are not told anything. As a result, a person arrives and honestly receives a cheap room he paid for - a basement or an attic floor.
In most cases, it is useless to make a scandal - the reception will find convincing explanations why he cannot give a normal room (in fact, he paid for something cheap) and will offer to check in the tourist at the nearby Mersoy hotel across the road. Many did so in order not to spoil the already not very long vacation.
With the second type of rooms - suites - not everything is simple either. There were Russian-speaking tourists who paid for suites, but were accommodated in suites on the basement floor. By what criteria there is placement - it is not clear at all. There is an assumption that the administration does not want to settle together - foreigners and ours. Perhaps, when you check in, the administration visually evaluates whether you will behave like a rowdy cattle or not, and if not, then welcome (just kidding). In fact, probably, here someone is as lucky + the price of the tour + the availability of rooms.

ABOUT THE HOTEL:
I liked the stunningly beautiful places around - the mountains and the picturesque nature surrounding the hotel.
To the warm sea about seven minutes along the beautiful cobbled streets. The territory of the hotel itself is small - a small pool around which there are two buildings with rooms and a restaurant. The hotel positions itself rather as a European hotel in the heart of Turkey.

ATTITUDE TO RUSSIAN:

I did not notice hostility towards Russian speakers at all. The staff is very friendly, always willing to help. Waiters and waitresses - just the soul of the company! : ) The only thing is that almost no one except the top staff speaks English, but no one canceled the sign language and the word "pliz".

SETTINGS IN THE HOTEL:
The hotel is for adults only, so you will miss the children's squeals. Very calm, I would even say lazy atmosphere, helped by measured music and silence. In fact, sometimes it was heard how the cake was eaten at the next table, and sometimes the Germans cackled. Unusual. I'm talking about the cake.
Sometimes I wanted to turn on the music in a more cheerful way and animation, but by the end of the vacation I even liked this unusual atmosphere of lingering calm. No drunken debauchery for the rest of the holiday! The only disturbance of the peace is when someone jumps into the icy pool and sprinkles a little on the faces near the lying vacationers. Yes, the water in the pool is really ice cold. For some reason, the paid SPA center with a heated pool was not popular.
They close the season in October. This is probably why on the third day of our stay they stopped giving us bottles of water in the room. We went for five-liter bottles to a nearby supermarket - three minutes across the road. A bottle costs 4 lira. The exchange rate is 1 dollar = 5.8 lira. (1 lira = 10 rubles)
From excursions we took a trip to the Gold Factory from Anex Tour and were very pleased. The rest of the excursions - on their own.
Of the events on the territory - twice during the whole week there was a performance by invited artists.
Late we found out that the hotel turns out to have a nightly disco in block C. Geographically, the Merskaya hotel chain is three different locations. Block A is Mercoy Bella Vista. There is also block B, where they offer to settle dissatisfied Russian-speaking tourists. And block C is Mersoy Aqua, which is located almost at the mountain (about 5 minutes away). Every evening in block C there is a disco until 23. After 23 they take you to the street of bars in neighboring Marmaris (8 km). Return transfer at 3 am.

All noisy events on the territory of Mercoy Bella Vista ended around 22 - 23 pm, but the street nearby rumbles with music until one or two in the morning.

ROOM:
We were very lucky - the room itself was chic. The only thing you can complain about because of the overkill is that it could have been a little more lighting in the room, but my girls lacked a mirror in one of the rooms. But this is all nonsense.

SERVICE:
The room was cleaned every day. The small towels were changed every day.
Large towels - three days later, and so, they just neatly folded, like replaced ones. Requests through the reception were not always fulfilled. Sometimes it was necessary to approach several times.

NUTRITION:
Dishes were often dirty. I didn’t notice a special variety in nutrition, but nevertheless you are unlikely to leave hungry. If anyone cares - the hotel does not know what byvet "diet table". The food is basically almost all peppery, and even what does not seem to be peppery in appearance will turn out to be peppery in taste.
In the morning they arrange show cooking for you - they prepare an omelet for you with the ingredients you specified - tomatoes, mushrooms, cheese, sausage, onions. Show cooking is when the ingredients of your dish flash spectacularly to the ceiling and are deep-fried for 20 seconds, then they are poured over with an egg and served to you on a plate.
There was also a traditional omelet, greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppered sausages, peppered sausages, french fries, a bunch of different sauces and 4 different types of cakes + bread, tea (delicious Turkish) and different types of coffee from the machine.
For lunch, you will be served peppered sausages, french fries, peppered sausages, peppered powdered potato cream - a viscous substance with a taste of potatoes in which peas, carrots, and corn are mixed. Very tasty meat and chicken. Didn't even smell like fish all week. There was rice in different variations.

For dinner, almost everything is the same as for lunch, but for some reason more tasty cooked (or maybe just wanted to eat))). As mentioned in the reviews earlier - not enough light. Really, in the evening you dine in intimate twilight. A good solution would be for more intimacy - to put beautiful candles on the tables and light them. Although, probably, it’s different here ...in the twilight people will not eat so much, but here the season is closing, so, comrades, intimate twilight! )))
Drinks alcohol - beer, vodka, wine, cocktails. Basically, everything, of course, is diluted and the quality is appropriate. From juices - everyone's favorite natural yuppies.
There are a couple of snacks during the day: a tray is brought out with a few pieces of slightly weathered biscuits and a bit of shortbread cookies.

OTHER:
Be sure to visit Marmaris! 20 minutes and you are in a great place! Minibuses go there every 10 minutes - the fare is 3 lira per person. You can get back by minibus with the inscription Icmeler or by taxi (the fare is the same 3 lira)

TOTAL:
We were satisfied with the rest. If there were cons, they drowned safely in the Aegean Sea : )
Ladies and gentlemen, if you have already bought tickets and there will be no problems with check-in, then you will enjoy your vacation in Bella Vista!
