The food is quite high quality and varied: chicken, meat, fish, various vegetables, fresh stews, sweets, fruits. Drinks are varied: wines, local beer, alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, yuppie juices, water, tea, coffee, the bar is good, until 23.00.
The staff is friendly, good-natured, but does not speak Russian The beach is a 10-minute walk from the hotel, even a plus is to walk in the fresh air.
Icmeler is a wonderful place, the hotel is normal, we had a very good rest!
The hotel after a recent high-quality renovation, large, but the atmosphere is "home". Everyone knows you and everyone is happy to see you and try to say greetings in Russian, although the main contingent is Turks and English speakers. At the reception, Khalil knows Russian, and his charming replacement Yeliz teaches, while both speak English. Our cleaning was done by Samira and in the bar, among others, Mehmet worked - both also knowing Russian and willingly answering questions. The staff spun around non-stop all day, while remaining smiling and friendly. Cleaning and change of towels - almost every day.
The food is varied and very tasty, and the chef and assistants were present in the hall "studying the demand" of the buffet. And if after the meal you don’t forget to thank, then the managers of the hall will meet you like family. But even without thanks, the dirty dishes were removed almost instantly.
We didn't have to wait long even though we arrived before 10:00. They immediately offered us a breakfast that was not supposed to us, and settled in within an hour. The room was very good, on the top floor.
The pool is large and clean with plenty of umbrellas and sunbeds. Although it was only "after dinner". And so - or 10 minutes. walk to the equipped municipal beach, or 25 minutes of a pleasant walk to the vicinity of Nirvana Beach (between Nirvana and Deniziaka beach).
There, in the mornings, a Turk, whose name seems to be Istmet, rests and cleans the beach at the same time - he is a pensioner and does it voluntarily. There are also a few sun loungers in the shade of olives. It seems to be free, but an employee of a neighboring beach ran into us with a demand (in broken Russian - he heard us, you bastard) to pay 15 lira - he sent him and he no longer approached us. The nearest communal free beach has a shower and a changing room, in the morning the water is clear, but by lunchtime the sandy bottom raises turbidity, but in the evening the sun is there the longest.
Excursions were taken from Sasha (i. e. advertising ...Sasha - hello! : ), his Russian-speaking office is located on the road to the beach on the right when you exit the Munamar Beach Residence Hotel near the canal
and around the corner, by the way, a Russian-speaking seller sells sweets - both are in the photo "Excursions and sweets ... ".
A tour of the “Aegean Islands” ($45 for two) is not bad, but I would recommend taking a trip towards Amos instead - there are 7 and 3 hour tours for 25-30 lire per person, sold at the "central pier" and near the yachts . I regretted that I didn’t go there right away ...I would repeat ...
About language problems… Minimal English was enough even to get through Istanbul-Dalaman (flights, booked through the Internet in Pegasus - less than $ 350 for two in both directions, but this is a separate story) Marmaris-Ichmeler (bus) to the hotel. Just in case, print the tickets in English and / or write the name and address of the hotel on a piece of paper - and how is it not clear - poke into a piece of paper and moo - you will be correctly sent (in a good way) to where you need to go. The Russian language is getting wider there. On "our" wild beach near Nirvana Beach, there were about a dozen Russians lying around. There are many signs in Russian. BUT!
Having learned the basic words (thank you, sorry, good afternoon / morning / evening) will you get a lot of bonuses from the locals? And smile more often!
Firstly, the hotel does not have 3 *, and even more so 4 *, as the hotel guide Dmitry told me (smiling maliciously) there are no stars here - there is only a crescent moon. After informing me that I knew where I was going, he began to advertise excursions that turned out to be three times more expensive than the travel agency told me. By the way, the photos on the hotel website - 90% have nothing to do with the hotel, and those taken at the hotel - it seems that more than 10 years ago - everything is dilapidated and looks different.
Refrigerator, hair dryer, air conditioning in the room did not work, the staff smiled and made it clear every time I contacted them that they did not understand Russian. Moreover, I didn’t have hot water for 3 days, the cleaning of the room for 10 days of stay was once when, after many days of requests to clean my room, I took out the garbage to the Reception. The Turk, who worked in the kitchen, slept in the hallway on a bench, swam in the pool every morning in front of vacationers, and brushed his teeth next to the pool. Only Russians and two more families from Turkey rested in the hotel, and so - they swam dressed (well, maybe religion does not allow them to undress), but why did their children swim with shoes on?!!!!!!! ! The hall in which we were fed also left much to be desired, but compared to the room - it was tolerable. But the waste from the plates was dumped, for some reason, right in the middle of the hall in front of the guests. Once the waiter poured out past the bucket, so he collected everything from the floor into a PLATE and threw it into the bucket. The dishes were constantly in some kind of greasy coating, so we tried to wipe them with napkins, although this did not help much. I appeal to everyone - NEVER COME TO THIS HOTEL, ESPECIALLY WITH CHILDREN!!! ! Only CORAL TRAVEL takes our vacationers there, I didn’t see any other tour operator there, there are no foreigners there either - only ours. No scandals and demands to relocate them help the tour operator, represented by a hotel guide, at best, offer relocation, but with an additional payment of $ 250 per person (for 2 days). But why should we pay if we have already paid for a 4* hotel??????????????
SHAME CORAL TRAVEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !
The hotel is old, shabby, the furniture is also a la 90s (tables painted with white paint), the air conditioner works like a tractor, there is no beach of its own.
Of the good - a fresh renovation in the bathroom, they clean and change towels every day, the food is delicious, varied. At the reception Tatiana is very friendly, the bartender is also wonderful.
If you do not pay attention to the shabby rooms, then you will have a wonderful time.
I advise you to take excursions from Ira (her agency is the first from the beach along the central alley) - she will advise and will not deceive. The first tour was taken from Boris - he deceived, promised a Russian-speaking guide, but was only in English (at least I know English well).
From the excursions, be sure to take the Aegean Islands - you will have a wonderful time.
And most importantly - very few Russians (who rested with them will understand me). There are mostly people from Europe, decently educated and not in the insole)))
I want a nice review.
Hotel for 3+
What I did not like is that the hotel has practically no territory.
The rooms are clean, the water is hot in the room, it was only a little warm, also not very good.
Cleaned, towels changed every day (we left a tip).
As for the food....everything was very tasty, satisfying and varied. There were no queues.
The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. There is no beach.
Annoying are some of our women who treat other women with disdain, but crawling in front of any man, humiliatingly flirting with waiters and barkers on the streets... I advise you to have fun on Bar Street. Every day there is a bus to Bar Street from the hotel, it costs 5 lire You can go for free at 22.50, the bus stops near Irina's agency (a 5-minute walk from the hotel). Bar Street is just super! A huge number of bars and disco for every taste, entrance is free everywhere!
We were satisfied with the rest!
