I found a stele with index numbers, but there was no number 2654 on it! Having wandered for 10 minutes, I began to ask the maids, they only shrugged, then stopped the karschikov, who carry luggage and tourists to their rooms, showing the key, take them to the room, I say, we have no time, we carry luggage, they answer.

We returned to the reception, I didn’t like the room, I told Lena, the connection room didn’t suit me, and the entrance lock didn’t work, they left the room open, I said, they couldn’t close it even with your employee))) key from another room. I’m going uphill again in 40-degree heat, after a 10-hour drive to Kyiv by car, 4 hours in Kyiv, 4 hours at Boryspil airport, 2 hours of flight and 2 hours of transfer (but Lena didn’t know about this! ))) . Room 1824, a row of bungalows, along the perimeter of the hotel, the road (highway) is 150 meters away. The room is good, clean, bright, spacious, a normal-sized bathroom, with a bathtub, first floor, but again a connection room!!
Because no strength left to fight, we agree, okay, I think, we will move in a day, go to the room, they say, we will bring the luggage later. Again trudged uphill, but with her husband)). We went out to the balcony, 1st floor, to look around, then a car with luggage drove up, they saw us, they took our suitcases, and right through the balcony railing they “handed it” to my husband! Here is such a service! Of course, no one introduced us to the number, how to use it did not show, well, we are not proud, just a couple of days later I watched the settlement of a Turkish family in a bungalow, also, of course, not by the road, but in the quietest place of the hotel, and the uncle in a tie , the same, "main", personally carrying their suitcases to the second floor to the very door (((
Well, one more thing about the number. Who does not know - connection room, it's like two rooms connected together by an interior door, i. e. a room for a family or two families of relatives, and so this same interior door, closed of course, was present in our room. This means that you hear not only every word of the neighbors, but also every breath, sneeze, cough and other sounds as if the person is just in front of you. Here you have to rely only on the fact that the neighbors will be quiet, or sane, and respond to your requests for silence.

We did not change the number, because. those rooms that they showed me in the main building, or rather in the annex to it, were much worse.
Finishing the topic of the room, the safe is paid, $ 2 / day, we did not use it, we kept valuables in suitcases, since they were closed with us. Mini bar - upon arrival 2 bottles of water, replenished daily with the same water. There is nothing more. The key to number one, the second - for a fee. The air conditioner worked perfectly, even with the balcony open, and without a key, i. e. always came to a cool room, which was very nice. They cleaned every day, they didn’t even hang a sign on the door, they changed bedding, towels, without a tip. There are no gels, shampoos, liquid soap hangs near the washbasin, and soap + shampoo in one bottle, near the shower. No bathrobes or slippers either.
One morning, I found a lot of ants in the bathtub on the floor, dialed the reception, a couple of minutes later the cleaner came and cleaned everything, I didn’t see any more ants.
Once the room and the entire territory were treated for mosquitoes, which we were warned about a day before. Mosquitoes didn't really bother me.
In general, from the moment the situation with the room settled down, our vacation can be safely called WONDERFUL!!!
I already had a rest in Turban in 2007, and I knew where I was going and what to expect from the rest, the main thing was to solve the problem with the room, and everything else would be OK!
Moreover, the hotel is working to improve the quality of rest. 4 floating pontoons appeared in the sea, which are cool to sail and sunbathe, or just sit with your legs hanging in the sea and watch the boats, a new pier appeared on the right side of the embankment, there used to be a bar with live music, now it has been moved to the left side. By the way, this new pier and the beach are the cleanest and least crowded, and even the water is cleaner here, just walk 50 meters to the right along the embankment and there will be an entrance to this beach!

Nutrition has also improved both qualitatively and quantitatively. Ice cream is now given free of charge from 14 to 15 on the territory of the children's mini-club to everyone, not only children, but also adults, ice cream for dinner is also free for everyone.
Near the relaxation pool, wooden sun loungers with soft mattresses were placed.

Every step and breath, every landscape was so pleasing that we were not annoyed either by the abundance of children, or the not always cleaned dishes in the dining room, or the occasional plastic cups on the floor by the main pool. That's honest! Do you know why? Because the toad did not press for the overpaid money. The hotel does not position itself as a deluxe. Yes, there is no glamor and glamor, there are no show-offs loved by many, there are no lamb legs and lobsters for dinner. Who cares, no need to go to Turban, choose another hotel. But it will cost at least $500 more.
Whoever wants to experience dizziness from the aroma of pine needles, enjoyment from the clear warm sea, picturesque views of mountains completely covered with vegetation, turquoise bays, snow-white yachts, the singing of cicadas - you can safely go (leave evening dresses and "hairpins" at home, they are not relevant here)) )
What else about the hotel? The contingent is almost all families with children, many Russians, Turks, the British, the Dutch are resting, I have not seen Germans, I have heard French. Animation - an unobtrusive, Russian-speaking girl Kristina leads water and step aerobics, there is water polo, volleyball, rifle shooting, darts, big chess, table tennis, maybe there is something else, we are not fond of it. In the evenings, entertainment programs in the amphitheater, mainly dance groups, acrobats, circus performers. All umnichki, very hard to watch a pleasure.

You can also walk along the promenade, which stretches along the entire coast, and runs between the hotel and the beach, you can go to Marmaris or Ichmiler, there are minibuses, to the center of Marmaris - 2.5 lira, taxi - 20 lira.

I didn’t notice any queues in bars and restaurants, except for 5-6 people at dinner in the main restaurant and at breakfast for scrambled eggs, and even then not always. For dinner, it is better to come to the opening (19 hours), fewer people, a large selection of dishes, and there will be time to digest everything before going to bed! )))
On the last day there was an episode near the relax pool - 2 pm, people are all lying, resting on sunbeds, then a working Turk comes with a toolbox and starts sawing, planing, drilling, hammering - repairing sunbeds, practically lifting vacationers from them! And, interestingly, no one was indignant, elderly foreigners and couples most often rested near this pool, because. this pool is for adults only. Excursions. We took along the bays of the Aegean Sea + a lamb on a spit, so-so. Dalyan Crab - I really liked it, we got a lot of pleasure from catching crabs on a fishing line, chicken skin was used as bait, small crabs were released, the rest were cooked for us for lunch during the excursion. Crabs are special - with blue claws. Then they also bring in mud and a hydrogen sulfide source, well, this is not for everybody.
Cleopatra Island is a wonderful excursion, we recommend it.
