We rested with my husband at the Elegance Hotel in Marmaris. They were very satisfied. But it all depends on how sophisticated you are in the rest. Those who do not often go abroad and have not seen much should like it.
The hotel is just like in the photos.
Well, if I write about my personal feeling, I can note several positive points, because I always go on vacation in high spirits and try to see only the best. The good news was waiting for us at the airport. It turned out that the hotel we booked (Blue Bays Deluxe) did not have any available rooms and we were accommodated in Elegance. What we, of course, were delighted with, since Elegance is more expensive and a class higher.

The location of the hotel is very good. There is a supermarket nearby, there is a private beach, the city begins right behind the hotel, for fast food lovers there is a McDonald's nearby. On a small area of the hotel there are 2 pools, one of which has a waterfall (the sound of the water is still relaxing).
Food for slaughter: breakfast, lunch, snack service (snack), coffee break, dinner, night soup (everything is on schedule). For 11 days, we were not able to try everything ...Despite the fact that the breakfasts are rather monotonous, lunch and dinner surprised us every day. Not to mention the desserts, from which the eyes ran. The staff is ok, both in the hotel and in the restaurant. We didn’t have any problems, although my husband likes to scandal. Apparently, all-inclusive made him sooooo irritated What I didn't really like was the size of the room. Still small. Although we came to the room only for the night (which is not necessary in Marmaris, because life is just beginning at night), I felt a little uncomfortable ...
I especially liked the following in Marmaris:
1) The proximity of all (except Demre Mira) excursions: Pammukkale - 3 hours drive, Ephesus is also not far away, I really liked Dalyan (especially the rest on Iztuzu beach and the taste of freshly cooked blue crab ), Cleopatra Island (swimming takes place in bays in during the whole trip, some places vaguely reminded Thailand);
2) Every evening, Turkish musicians come to the hotel (there is a scene near the pool, in the evening they clean the sunbeds, put tables and candles), who sing very well. Some of them had a couple of Russian songs in their repertoire (Alexander Ivanov and Igor Nikolaev). Since there were quite a lot of Russians in the hotel, we all sang in chorus;
3) Near the reception there is a piano bar. Every evening a Turk plays the piano there. You can hear "Moscow Evenings", and "Katyusha" and various classics;
4) The presence of a Roof-bar, i. e. a bar on the roof.
True, nothing is turned on there anymore ...But the view from there is amazing, especially at night, when boats in lights are sailing on the sea. And the breeze...
5) Sauna, jacuzzi, gym - this is included in the price. Various massages and spa treatments - for a fee;

6) In the evening, the pier turns into a restaurant. Very cute. Everything is very beautiful.

I would also like to note that there are no discos in the hotel, there is no animation, there is no entertainment for children (there is a small playground), but couples with children also relax there. The sea on the beach is not impressive. The staff does not speak Russian, there are indeed individuals in the hotel who have progressed very well in this matter. But in Marmaris itself there are many Russian speakers, sellers sometimes speak Russian very well. As for the weather, until mid-June the weather pleases, then the heat begins, although, thanks to the mountains, there is no strong stuffiness.
The Elegance hotel itself is strikingly different from all nearby hotels.

Yes, we know about the consular fee, the fact of the matter is that children traveled, who, by definition, should not pay it, or if they do, then of course 35 euros. like everyone else, but 15 is just money for a travel agency. we just made our conclusions - a child of one is nowhere else and never! especially in terms of money it is really more expensive than a regular tour - at a price on the operator's website of 325 euros. we paid 395 - that is, for two more teachers. although if 15 children pay extra 75 euros (15x75), it turns out 1125 euros - not just the price for a tour for two teachers, but for bread and butter for a travel agency. so neither your child nor you yourself will get any joy from an independent trip without parents you will be glad that he went all the way to Paris itself. And I also forgot to note that the hotel in Paris was, as usual, outside the city and made such a negative impression even on inexperienced children that they did not dare to undress and slept on their blankets in clothes, so beds were not changed after previous clients and would have to sleep in other people's hair. adults would of course throw a scandal. but tired children, of course, are the most profitable and unrequited tourists.

Conclusion: the company loves money very much !!! and the rest on the side
As for hotels, unfortunately, this is a bitter truth. In Paris itself, all hotels are expensive and very dirty, so travel agencies always book those outside of it. They are more comfortable. You should always be prepared for “bad for our people” breakfasts: they are minimal in France. As for the order, this is a big minus for the company itself. The tour operator enters into an agreement with the hotel and must control all the conditions for the stay of its tourists. The hotel itself is preparing to receive guests. On the territory of Europe, in all hotels, the check-out of people ends at 12:00, and the check-in of new ones begins at 14:00, which means that the hotel has 2 hours for “cleaning” ... Your children had the opportunity to face very bad conditions ( (((It shouldn’t be like this, it’s just that it turned out to be a very cheap hotel or some kind of motel for the tour operator himself (((

The most annoying thing is that such seemingly trifles spoil all the impressions of the trip itself. 100% that the children, apart from fatigue and such unpleasant moments, did not remember anything.
