And so, although Greece was in the plans for the summer (this year it is so restless), we are flying to Turkey for the second time, preferring stability and order.
Since the first holiday in Turkey did not like very much (if you want, read the review of Kemer), choose the Aegean coast, the town of Icmiler near Marmaris, the hotel "Aqua". Chose on the recommendation of our tour operator with whom we travel for many years. Reviews on the Internet were also read.
The road without complaints. And back and forth everything is on time, without delay. The only thing is that the driver was Schumacher, but what Turk does not like fast driving?
Since we arrived on Wednesday, there were no people at the reception.

They gave us a bunch of cards (on beach towels, to pay for paid services, from the room), the key to the safe, put on hotel handbags, took things to the room and wished a pleasant stay. However in English.
We liked the room. Medium in size, located on the second floor with a small balcony overlooking the garden. The floor is carpeted (by the way, in the hallway as well), well-thought-out furniture. The air conditioning is not noisy, the bed is not blowing. TV with two Russian channels and, in my opinion, a completely unnecessary minibar, in which the first day everything was free. There was also a small safe and an electric kettle (probably for those who don't have All).
The hotel itself is small but very nice. Two five-storey buildings. Right next to them is a fairly large and deep pool. The hotel area is small but somehow so planned that if necessary you can be alone. Lots of greenery.
The beach is large and moderately clean.
Stay across a small footpath from the hotel. It is only nominally hotel. In fact, the city beach, any of the vacationers can come here in the hotels of Icmiller, of which there are many (both hotels and vacationers). The sea did not impress. After Croatia and Egypt, it seemed ordinary, without a hint.
The town of Icmiller is located in a small bay between the mountains overgrown with pine forests. Clean, many cafes, shops and hotels. Most Europeans are resting. A lot of Englishmen. So much so that the prices in many cafes are in pounds. The Turks are not the same as in Kemer. In the shops they cling to moderation and almost everyone speaks English. The town has a pleasant, friendly atmosphere.
A few more words about the hotel. I really liked the kitchen. There may not be as much variety as in Kemer, but they cook much tastier. The service is also better. The room is cleaned daily as well as towels are changed. Good animation.

Hotel animators do not consider themselves the luminaries of the stage and in the evenings the show is mostly quite professional guest artists. Once there was even a whole symphony orchestra. True, the audience treated him in such a way that suddenly he is unlikely to come, but this is no longer a problem for the hotel. Of the discos in the hotel only mini-disco. The children's club is also present, but our daughter, who did not leave the mini-clubs during her previous vacations, for some reason did not want to go there. And my wife and I were replaced. We have never participated in animation parties before.
Rested in the hotel mostly British. There are also many Turks from Europe (arrogant). There were also Arabs… It is very interesting to wonder how English ladies sunbathe without bras, and Arabs climb into the pool in suits that cover the whole body and even the head.
I also liked the climate of Icmiller.
The heat was not felt at all, although the temperature was more than 30 degrees.
Interestingly, the water near the sea was not at a constant temperature. The sea was warmer or colder but within comfortable limits.
Only I went on the tour. The wife of the hotel did not want to leave, so she was fine there. I took the two-day Ephesus-Pamukale. I liked everything, there is something to look at and the guide was good (Ukrainian from Kharkiv). True, after the "Aqui" hotel where they spent the night seemed a flock, but it's only for one night.
So, if you are not very young and want a calm, pleasant and quality holiday - you in Icmiler and Aqua. Maybe I'll go back there myself, if I want more comfort than new divination.
