We love Tekirova, especially 2 distant hotels at the opposite end of the village, but this one was frankly disappointing.
Pros:
- low price;
- spacious, clean room, high ceilings, bathrobes, slippers, daily cleaning;
- well-groomed territory;
- good sun loungers by the pool;
- the confectioner bakes delicious and varied desserts;
- ice cream (2-3 colors), freshly squeezed orange juice in the morning;
- adequate bartenders;
- Without children, you can walk to Phaselis in an hour.
Minuses:
- about a third of the rooms of the main building (including ours) overlook the utility block of the Rixos hotel, in addition to the view itself (this is clearly not a garden), powerful compressors work there around the clock. There are 6 of them, industrial, plus huge tin air ducts, all this vibrates with terrible force. With the balcony closed, it seems that the air conditioner is humming at full power in the room, with the open one - that you are standing next to the aircraft engine running.

Periodically, trucks come there and start to back out, the sound signal will wake you up even with the balcony closed. This is despite the fact that we have an expensive hotel standard accommodation option. We could have taken a cheap club promo, but now it's scary to think how it would look like. The receptionist answered: "We have almost all standard rooms like that. " If rooms have obvious flaws, they should be "promo", with a discount. If the hotel is half full, then why are guests placed in the worst rooms? To give a bribe at the reception for a normal one? Or is it anti-Russian sentiment?
- Wifi in the rooms between "very bad" and "not at all" at any time of the day. Even in the lobby, opening the page of the "native" fstravel site is a big problem, like full scale, but the download is not going on. Either there is simply no WiFi, or it hangs on receiving an address, or it breaks instantly. At night, a bunch of messages for the previous day may come. It feels like you're back in the stone age. Receptionist answer: "We have slow internet in Turkey. "
Everyone has had a fast one for many years, but they don’t have it. For those who care about being online, it is better to immediately cross this hotel off the list;
- entry into the sea is crushing. One and a half meters of small pebbles, then cobblestones. Other hotels have piers with stairs or paths for safe entry into the sea, Sapphire has nothing of the sort. I saw people with foot injuries;
- UAI means, among other things, imported drinks. One bottle of Ballantyne whiskey in the Chill Out bar for the whole hotel. There is also a Martini. Even in the lobby bar (the face of the hotel! ) exceptionally sweetish Turkish whiskey is poured. This is not particularly important to me, but the economy calls into question the declared level;
- Meals for normal 4 *. Chicken or turkey, inexpensive fish always, meat usually in very spicy mini-patties or a thin layer of minced meat on top of vegetables. Well, or on a holiday that will be thrown. So that the windows in the restaurant are not empty, they are filled with sandwiches.
- 70% of the guests are Russian-speaking, and only one of the animators understands, the rest are Turks and Equatorial Africa, French-speaking;
- at first the TV did not have an image, the called technician quickly stuck the necessary contact (could it fall out by itself? ). But half of the channels have sound only for the first 3 seconds, this is more of a system problem, they didn’t make a fuss, they just turned off the panel;

- there is no ventilation in the bathroom, which is inconvenient with gluttony and, accordingly, increased gas emission.
