We rested at the La mer hotel in Kemer from 08/02/2006 to 08/12/2006.
We, newlyweds, paid about 2000 bucks for a standard room.
We started our journey without significant delays, the company informed us 1 day before that the flight was postponed by 2 hours. Then, upon arrival, we went through all sorts of customs very quickly, took our luggage and put us in a brand new air-conditioned bus (it was over 40 outside, it was hot). We arrived at the hotel by 21.00 and we were immediately sent to eat, then 3 minutes of registration and without any problems we were taken to the room.
By number.

I was struck by its cleanliness, interior (Chinese-Turkish), and the size is not small. Large TV (2 of our channels, the rest 20 are Turkish, German), central air conditioning (worked around the clock and properly), a veranda (2 armchairs and a table), everything is in order in the bathroom with all the little things. When we entered the room, there were cold wine and fruits, I was so impressed that I gave 10 bucks to the Turk from the reception. We had a view from the 2nd floor of a green park, to the right we could see the sea, the sun did not hit us.
After cleaning.
They cleaned regularly every day without any tips, sometimes they arranged pleasant surprises: once the wife left a peignoir on the bed, so they made the bed in the Turkish style, laid out the peignoir in the shape of a flower and decorated the bed with flowers on top. Or we often brought grapes and peaches from the restaurant, so the cleaner removed the stones, leaving clean grapes. Every day they brought water to the minibar and changed linen, towels, etc.
By territory.
Large, fully manicured alleys around the hotel. I didn’t even have the desire to go to neighboring hotels to see, there was enough of my own. There are no construction sites nearby. If you get a view of the road, then it's even better, because it's 80 meters from it and you can't see it at all, you can only see the mountains. The sea is probably visible from the 4th floor, as it was covered below by pines, cypresses, palm trees and similar greenery.
The area inside the hotel.
Huge halls with leather sofas, decorated in Turkish style and diluted with greenery, a great rest after the beach. Constantly working bars inside the hotel, outside the hotel allow you to drink whatever you want, whenever you want. Shopping center, billiards, internet, etc. The spa center is what became almost the most important thing when we chose a hotel. These are steam, dry saunas, a Turkish bath, after which it is very pleasant to plop down in an indoor pool with central air conditioning (which saves after dinner), relaxation rooms, a gym. They also probably offer about 40 types of massage, the Turk did an aromatic relaxing massage to his wife (30 bucks for 40 minutes), she said that it was super (only one thing: it would be even nicer if it was not done by a Turk : )).
Sea.

Clean, the beach is small pebbles, as in the Crimea, located right behind the pool, everything is in full view. Not everyone still knows that the Mediterranean Sea consists of 38% salt, I didn’t know either and dived deeper, as a result of 15 minutes my nasopharynx and eyes burned. In general, we went to the beach for the first 2 days for half a day and once again swam on the 8th day : ). Sunbeds and seats are just in bulk almost all day long, which can not be said about the pools. Here we acted smarter, I set the alarm for 6.30 and chose any place, threw towels, and throughout the day these places were behind us. The pools are clean and big enough that no one bothers anyone. Children polluted them a little by 17.00 hours. Kinders were almost all Turkish or German, so all their cries or conversations were not annoying, especially since most of them grazed in special pools. People crawl out of their holes by 10 o'clock, but we had breakfast at about 7.30 and sunbathed by the pool until 10 almost alone.
Animation.
From morning to evening, just handsome, who wanted to lead an active holiday, no one touched the rest. My wife went in for sports sometimes 4 times a day (morning exercises, belly dancing, water gymnastics, step aerobics by 4 o'clock). In addition, once again in the evening there were lessons in belly dancing, in the morning Turkish lessons, darts, air shooting, volleyball, water football and various other games. The most memorable after the water games were dancing around the pool, almost everyone danced. In the evening, by 10, all sorts of entertainment for the kinders ended and the evening performance began (most liked it, we didn’t really, primitively), then a disco, we had time to get tired before it, so I can’t say for the quality. On the last evening, they arranged a gala show, moved the entire restaurant kitchen to the pool, arranged tables around the pool, and organized dinner. It was this show that impressed us the most, its huge scale, many performances, etc. Almost every day there are fireworks, if sometimes there weren’t in our hotel, then in the neighboring ones it definitely was.
Vacationers.
We counted about 8 nationalities: 30% Turks, 30% Germans, 20% Ukrainians and Russians, then all the rest. Ours behaved with dignity, never saw a bull or "muzzle in a salad. " We concluded that this is the most optimal number of ours for recreation. The staff understood almost everything in Russian, if someone came across who did not understand, they always called someone who would understand. All always with a smile on your face.
Excursions.

There are not so many of them, there are more of them in Crimea. My wife and I ordered a Turkish bath with a Thai relaxation massage in Kemer for the 2nd evening (130 bucks for two), I will say right away that it is better than seeing any of the wonders of the world : ). Further, our travel agency presented a sightseeing tour to Antalya, which did not produce any effect, everything is similar to the Crimea, only the roads are better and the buses are air-conditioned. Yes, by the way, those who go on cheap excursions get the same thing, only the buses do not have air conditioning, but hot air ventilation, which is very noticeable in conditions of 50-degree heat. Souvenirs were bought at a discount of 50-70%, it got to the point that a ring with a value of 260 went out to 110.
Of course the food.
Feel the joy of Turkish food. I recovered by 5 kg, my wife, I don’t know, somewhere by 2. Meat, pork, lamb, turkey, everything is in abundance and unlimited quantities. I discovered the mutton liver mangal - a gourmet meal. Dozens of cakes and asked - gobble me up. Even the German food-pickers cracked plate after plate. If in the first days we collected 3 large plates, then by the 8th day we did not hesitate to collect 7 of them, and the 8th with fruit was dragged into the room. They fed all day when the restaurant had a break, they gave food at the snack bar on the beach. In all the bars there is enough booze to get drunk, on the first day I got beer (quite good, even the Germans drank it with pleasure), the second brandy-cola and gin and tonic (the guys did not spare brandy and gin). I didn’t drink vodka and cognac, although people mostly took cognac with double drinks and said that it was not bad. Wine of only 2 types, local, white and red (half crackers). Sometimes they indulged in champagne. With juices, they are a bit tight, they really remind you of yupi, even if you buy in packs, the same, but it doesn’t matter, there is always Coca-Cola and Fanta. The fruit was all, in addition, watermelons and melons were cut on the beach in between "meals" : ).
some useful little things.
There is a photo studio on the beach and the guys are photographers, 1 photo 10x15 costs 6 bucks. In total, they took us 250 super photos in digital form.
There are also enough scooters and boats for water sports on the beach. Ride a scooter for 30 bucks for 5 minutes, the same goes for flying on a parachute.
You may have forgotten something, but you can't remember everything. The rest was simply of the highest class, the price for the ticket is fully consistent with the quality.
