We rested together in Queen's Park Turkiz Kemer from October 4 to 15.2015. Tour operator PEGAS. A / c "Nord Wind". Departure from Sheremetyevo at night. Everything is clear, without delays and problems, except for the fact that there are many places on the plane, incl. us, got in different parts of the cabin. We arrived at the hotel early in the morning and were seated immediately. The room is almost above the most central entrance overlooking the road and mountains.
Geographically, the hotel is very conveniently located: in the center of Kemer near the port, Liman Street (local Broadway) and Mustafa Ertugrul Park. Nearby is also Moonlight Park. An urban-type hotel, that is, its own territory is limited to a five-story building of the hotel itself, a small area with tables, a very modest pool, where, in my opinion, more than four people have never gathered, and the beach, located across a small promenade.
The hotel does not belong to the childfree category, but due to the complete lack of children's entertainment, there are very few kids here. There were only a few during our stay. There was no animation as such. On Mondays, a vocalist performed at the entrance to the building: he sang well, accompanying himself on an electric guitar.

Minimalist interior. Apparently, during the next change of owners, cosmetic repairs were carried out, however, some elements of the decor are hopelessly outdated, the building, in my opinion, would need a complete renovation. On the first (here it is zero) floor, in addition to the reception desk and the lobby bar, there is a recreation area. Above it is an artsy wooden frame, visually closing the space. This design looks too massive and rude, does not fit into the general view of the atrium at all, and rather makes the interior heavier than gives it a decorative effect. In the evenings, the public gathered here, enjoyed the sounds of the piano with a glass of wine, a cocktail or something stronger.
The design of the main restaurant was more like a dining room in an inexpensive Soviet boarding house, everything is very ascetic, the walls are painted in light colors without the slightest hint of individuality.
NUMBERS. This is perhaps one of the main advantages of the hotel. The rooms are simple, decorated without any pathos, but large and bright with good sound insulation, laminate flooring, tiles in the corridor and bathroom area. Convenient cabinets with lots of hangers, shelves, drawers. There are disposable slippers.
There is an LCD TV on the wall, there are Russian channels. The safe is free, the minibar was replenished daily with bottled water (plain, mineral, carbonated) and two 300-gram cans of sweet soda (Pepsi, Fanta). There were glasses, a kettle, cups, saucers, sugar, coffee, herbal and fruit tea bags.
One and a half beds are equipped with a whole bunch of different-shaped pillows. On the wall is an oil painting in an incomprehensible technique (the dolphinarium is not far from the hotel, apparently dolphins wrote in their free time from performances))).
The bathroom has all the necessary little things: cotton pads and sticks, liquid soap, shower caps, shampoo and shower gel in dispensers (by the way, there is an inscription in Russian), a comb, a nail file. Towels and bed linen are clean. Everything was enough, everything changed, though not every day.
The balcony is spacious. Equipped with a small wooden table, two chairs, an ashtray and matches, a clothes dryer.
An additional bonus was that the rooms give 2 key cards. Leaving one in the cells, you can charge your gadgets without fear that the electricity will turn off if you need to leave the room. The number of sockets was also pleasing.

A fly in the ointment can be considered a central air conditioner, which worked fine for the first couple of days, and then simply drove warm air around the room. Apparently, the hotel administration decided that the calendar autumn gives the right to work in full economy mode. We heard people at the reception also complaining about the operation of the cooling system, but it only got cooler when it rained. It was then discovered that the wooden slats on the balcony, conditionally forming a canopy roof, protect from the sun, but not from the rain. The downpour flooded all the things hung out to dry. I won’t focus on the lack of electric lighting in the evening, this is the fate of most hotels (and not only in Turkey).
In terms of nutrition, you can say this: a standard set of economy-five dishes. There were no frills, but there were clearly no fainting from hunger either. You could always find something to your liking.
soup for breakfast; eggs boiled, fried, scrambled eggs, grilled with stuffing; sausage and sausages; stewed, boiled and fresh vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, paprika, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, beans, olives); muesli and cereals; several types of cheese. For dessert, dried apricots, Turkish delight, dried figs, chocolate paste, assorted jams. Pleased with a large selection of baked flour products (buns, bagels, cheesecakes, etc. ). Not quite tasty pancakes were often baked on the street. During the day and in the evening, pizza, berek were added to all this bakery abundance... We saw how people took fruits and buns out of the dining room. No one stopped and no remarks were made.
Lunch and dinner were presented with two types of soup, meat in different versions, mainly turkey and chicken, sometimes beef and lamb. Potatoes (in pieces, less often mashed potatoes), rice, pasta, were offered both as a side dish in its pure form and as complex independent dishes (pilaf, stew, etc. ). As in all hotels in the evenings, meat or fish was cooked on the grill in the street part of the restaurant.
Perhaps the originality was the fish day, on Tuesdays the counters were decorated with special elegance. Fish, squid, stewed, salted, fried, boiled and grilled seafood, in salads and pates, sushi, rolls… The task was to try a little bit of everything, but failed.
Of the fruits in the above period were watermelons, melons, apples, oranges, green tangerines, grapefruits, grapes.
And of course, what kind of dinner can do without traditional Turkish sweets: cakes, pies (custard, biscuit, soufflé , baklava, kadaif (thin vermicelli filled with syrup))...

From alcohol in the main restaurant it was possible to order white and red wine, beer. Anything stronger (crayfish, tequila, whiskey, etc. , Welcome in the lobby).
On the 4th floor, and in fact on the roof, there was A la carte. Can't say we liked it. It was windy, the dishes were served with a delay, cooled down. An assortment for an amateur, for example, pancakes could go with a bang if they were stuffed with meat, not asparagus. By the middle of the meal, some of the tables were empty. In general, nothing special - stiff and boring. It's worth coming here just for the view of the sea and the port area. He's just amazing.
BEACH.
Fairly wide. Divided by a wooden deck leading to the pier into two parts. The left side is sandy. True, the sand is bulk and by the end of the season it has already gone pretty bald and the pebbles hidden under it clearly showed through. On the right is a solid wooden flooring, laid in large squares like parquet. In this part, there are wider umbrellas made of dense white material, trees grow on the right along the edge of the beach. All this together created a good shadow zone. The bulk of vacationers tried to get here, so if you come after ten o'clock, you may not find a good place. While the left zone was always empty. In the lunch area, most of the sunbeds on both sides were released.
Between the water's edge and the Turkiza beach area, 5-7 meters are solid pebbles. This part near the surf does not belong to the hotel, so tourists from other hotels and locals came here. They lay on their own towels. Often, vacationers "Turkiz" moved their deck chairs closer to the sea.
If in the morning you relax on a sun lounger, get ready for the fact that at exactly 10-00 your sleep will be interrupted by a song about a boy who dreams of visiting Tambov, already forgotten in the post-Soviet space. To this unpretentious melody, a caravan of pleasure yachts, stylized as heroes of pirate films, left the port every day. Onlookers crowded on the pier willingly filmed this spectacle in photos and videos.

The beach area is separated from the port by a concrete parapet and huge boulders. Oil stains and other yacht emissions were not observed. The water is clean, clear and very warm, the bottom was perfectly visible even at a depth. But one detail strained: from time to time, some unpleasant smell of either sewerage or rotting algae was clearly felt in the sea. Connoisseurs argued that in previous years this was not observed.
At 11 o'clock, a Turkish woman appeared on the beach, selling delicious corn for $ 2 apiece. It reminded me a lot of Crimea.
The beach had outdoor showers, cabanas and a beach bar. It was always possible to take tea, coffee, cold beer, wine, water, ayran, yuppie juices in it. There was good tomato juice. At lunch you could eat. In addition to pizza and buns, greens (tomatoes, cucumbers, sliced paprika and salads), various nuggets, kebabs, liver cutlets, potato balls, side dishes (pasta, rice) were brought from the main restaurant. Every day at certain hours, ice cream appeared (viscous goat with different fillers).
Here, in front of the bar in a special tent changed beach towels. It is very convenient that they were exchanged at will for cards or clean towels, and the exchange could be carried out throughout the day an unlimited number of times.
And finally. The air temperature from 4 to 15 October 2015 varied from 20 degrees early in the morning to 28-33 in the daytime. Evenings + 24-26. The water in the sea is 27-28 degrees. It rained several times, once a strong lingering one. And on the night of October 6-7, we were awakened by an earthquake, the epicenter of which was in the area of Demre. A couple of not very pleasant minutes were then remembered as a little adventure.

In general, the hotel is a solid four. An important role was played by the price / quality ratio. A tour package with a discount for 11 nights cost us $ 1.020 (at a rate of 72 rubles), i. e. a little more than 73 thousand rubles. Shortly before leaving, I saw in a search engine the price for the same dates was more than 40 thousand higher (! ). I readily believe that having paid such a sum, people will expect more. At an adequate cost, I can safely recommend Queen's Park Turkiz Kemer for a relaxing holiday to those who do not need noisy animation, who do not make a tragedy because of a Pepsi can not supplied to the minibar, and for whom luxury in everything is not a priority component.
