I would like to tell you about how we rested in Turkey. Rested from the 3rd to the 10th of September. We went with TezTour. Hotel "Le Palm" 3*.
We didn't have any complaints. We are "Soviet" people, accustomed to everything. In any case, we were very belligerent, especially after stories about how our brother was not settled where they promised, or a day after arrival they were moved to "you will be better there. " But, all right. . .
We flew from Kyiv. We live in Nikolaev. This is the south of Ukraine from Kyiv 12 hours drive. In general, after a twelve-hour nightmare on the bus, a five-hour wait for departure and a two-hour flight - we are in Turkey. After 6 degrees in Kyiv, 32 in Antalya is just heaven. I want to say right away that there are no complaints about TezTour. Everything except the guide was great. So, another hour on the bus and we are at the hotel. Matches the photo on the net. The beach in the photos is public, but they write that it is their own. Own and the beach is difficult to call. 20 meters between boat rental, five star hotel and vacationers. The public one is much better, it is bigger and there are fewer people. And the workers of the coastal restaurant look after the cleanliness. Minus the beach - located 500 meters from the hotel. But it is better to take a walk yourself than your wet compatriots will walk on you.

So, tired of the move, we wanted only one thing - RELAX!! ! And here the most interesting begins. Our guide, Furkat (who knows what I mean), says that we have a choice - to stay at Le Palm, or stay at the Aura Hotel. The guide was fine with the latter. Why, we never understood. But I'm not talking about that. "Aura" is located 50 meters from "Le Palm" and both have the same owner. We were already familiar with such a story, so we immediately began to insist that we be settled in "Le Palm". Moreover, our condition was appropriate - "evil and hungry. " Furkat said that there are rooms only on the first floor. We didn't care which one, that's why he showed them to us. In the first room, when he turned on the light, the switch fell off. He "on duty" laughed and we went to look at the numbers in "Aura".
The hotel is much newer and the rooms are accordingly better. While riding in the elevator, they told the guide that we know everything about him, and who he really is. : o))) We insisted that he show us several numbers, although they were exactly the same. In short, having "hit" the guide, we settled on the fact that the next day the rooms on the second floor in "Le Palm" are vacated and we can see them, and if we like them, then we can move there.
In general, we released negative energy, settled in "Aura" and went to inspect the territory. I want to tell you - VERY BEAUTIFUL!! ! High mountains, at the foot of the lemon and orange gardens. You can freely enter, but it was still green, so we did not find out whether it was possible to tear or not. 200 meters along the alley with palm trees and you are on the "beach". Along the street, on the first floor of all hotels, there are all kinds of shops, supermarkets, etc. , where they will invite you, pull you by the hands, give you tea, offer all sorts of "crap" and without selling anything (it all depends on you), let go. But it's all very, very funny. Exotic.
But back to our guide. In the evening on the day of our arrival there was a meeting with the guides. There were two of them - Anna and the same Furkat. He showed up somewhere in the middle, and Anna told us about excursions and how bad street tour agencies are and how they "throw" stupid tourists. The fact that we (guides) are the most honest people on earth and that we will never offer our clients second class. "We care about the company's reputation. " Since we had already read about all the excursions for about two months on the internet, we were not at all interested and we left, and the couple who came with us stayed. Our tickets for the return trip were taken away, saying that we needed to clarify the date of departure and arrange a transfer. They promised to return in 30 minutes. In short, we did it in vain. I advise you to immediately make a photocopy of tickets and give to the guide. It can be done at the hotel. And if they say that there is no copier, all this is “garbage”. Xerox - IS!! ! But live a century, learn a century. We gave our tickets and left. They returned for them not after 30 minutes, but after about 180. I think that all the information could already be passed on, but Furkat said to us with a "duty" smile: "I haven't had time yet, come tomorrow. " In short, here's the thing, they decided that we intend to take excursions on the street and take away the hard-earned 50% that he earns on excursions, from which street ones are no different. Although on the first day of our stay in Turkey, roughly speaking, we didn't give a damn about all the excursions and everything else. We wanted to rest and sleep. In general, they began to blackmail us. Though loudly said, but true. Of course, no one said this, but it was clear that the tickets would be returned to us only when we ordered excursions from the guide. Moreover, the couple who came with us, who also gave the tickets to the guides when we did, and who bought several excursions, received their tickets back without any problems. We did not "flirt" with Furkat. We don't need problems either. Who knows what's in his head. In short, we took one trip from him. He wrote out a receipt, but... the money remained in the room, because we did not plan to buy anything on the first day. And we settled on the fact that the next day he gives us tickets, and we give him money. On this we parted ways. We never saw Furkat again. More precisely, they saw if we needed it. He himself has lost all interest in us. And it was for the best.

The remaining 7 days no one touched us and we "did what we wanted. "
Well, now about the good - it's everything else. We stayed in "Aura" because there are no "fountain" rooms in "Le Palm" and on the second floor. We have nothing to compare with, but I think that "Aura" justifies its 3 stars. The rooms have new furniture, new plumbing. The hotel and grounds are clean. The staff is polite, although they themselves do not move to do anything, but if you ask, and even more so if you give a dollar, they will do it without problems. Russian they guess rather than understand. English is also understood by two and a half people, but the possibilities of the dollar are simply grandiose. Liked the pool very much. Big and clean it every evening. However, you can swim only until 20:00. Separate food story. The variety of dishes is not great, but a lot. And since we had no claims for five stars, everything suited us. We rather rolled out of the restaurant, because it was difficult to walk from what we had eaten and drunk.
The mysterious person is the cleaner. Very strange, she cleaned. Today he will sweep, tomorrow he will wipe the dust, the day after tomorrow he will wash. But it was more fun. There was a safe in the room and I advise you to use it. Only a dollar a day, but you swim and sunbathe calmly. In retail stores, everything costs at least twice as much as it actually costs. Trade - it's fun. In general, here is a brief summary of our trip.
It is best to go to Turkey in the second half of September. Less ours, more locals. Less Russian music, more Turkish. Less Russian, well, and, accordingly, more Turkish. More opportunity to experience the local flavor. Moreover, Turkish vacationers are very polite people. No “show-offs”, and conversations like “come in large numbers here! ”.
Have a good rest and do not let yourself be offended. Remember where we all come from.
