I can tell my story. Dear people all over the world, never choose this hotel - you will lose a lot of time and, most importantly, NERVES!!!
We 6 people arrived at the Royal Resort hotel through Detur, it doesn’t even pull on 3 stars. The hotel is on the verge of extinction and ruin. I did not believe the reviews and it turned out even worse than people describe. I am a person who never focuses on minor flaws and I try not to say bad things about hotels, but it’s impossible to remain silent here. We agreed with the representative of Detur Sergey that for $ 20 per room he would put us in good rooms, he kindly agreed and said that in 2 hours our rooms would be ready, but for now we can take a walk, swim and eat.
I heard that this is one of the oldest hotels in Turkey, but I didn’t expect so much: The food is terribly small and half rotten, the plates are dirty, the condos don’t work, after talking with the locals, we found out that the Animation team quit because they don’t pay .
The impression is that everyone works there without management and salary - everyone was abandoned. After 2 hours we came to the reception and could not find this representative. We started to find out about the rooms ourselves in broken English and it turned out that the hotel was full and there were NO ROOMS!
Even the receptionists themselves spoke about the change of owners, and stupidly the hotel resold all the rooms several times. For those who do not understand, I can explain: First, when booking a tour, the travel agency asks for free places, after which the hotel confirms the reservation and you can go! And then the hotel sold (confirmed) all the occupied rooms.
A huge nightmare began to which there was no end. A bunch of people, 50 people, were sitting at the reception and bitterly indignant. After 4 hours, the representative of Detur, Sergei, nevertheless appeared, told us that they were not aware (I DON'T BELIEVE!!! ) and now they will look for another hotel for us.
After we were offered another crappy hotel (we called Moscow and clarified the quality of the hotels offered by Sergey - they were all terrible), the children began to cry and the adults also could not stand it, they almost killed this Sergey. As a result, at 7 pm (and we arrived at the hotel at 11 am), we were offered a good Otium Hotel (ex-Sun Zeynep) - 5 *, but only for 2 days, and then moving again, which of course could not suit us. We categorically refused 2 days and stated that we would only go for the entire stay in Turkey of 9 nights. After long negotiations, Sergei Oath promised that he agreed for the entire period without moving. We went.
We arrived at the Otium Hotel, where we were met by another representative of the Detur company, Alim, who, in turn, also swore an oath, saying that all our problems were over and we were here for 9 nights. Honestly, without exaggeration - it was the LONGEST and most agonizing day in my life.
And the worst thing is that they all understand their superiority over you, and you can’t do anything, even punch him in the face, because you don’t know the local orders and laws.
The Otium Hotel is really nice and we relaxed. After 2 days, our nightmare repeated itself! Alim gathered us all and announced that Detur could not agree with the hotel (they knew complete nonsense in advance and lied to our face) and we should move to another hotel. The scandal was huge, we refused to leave this hotel, our rooms were blocked, one of ours became ill with a heart (fell right at the reception) and barely managed to open a room with medicines for him. We even got through to the consulate of the Russian Federation, they said: collect material (we can’t do anything), that you were in this hotel (the hotel refused to give us such confirming paper), photo and video shooting, which we did.
And only after we received an official paper from Detur that we would no longer be relocated, we went to another better hotel.
EVENTUALLY:
1. Vacation completely ruined.
2. Really lost 2 days out of 9 stay in Turkey.
3. Loss of nerves CALOSAL man had a heart attack, and we all got very nervous. We worked for a whole year in order to go and have a normal rest for 9 nights, which turned into 7, full of nerves and frustration. Paying money for an undermined body is phenomenal!
