Rested from 21 to 28 May. Tour operator Pegasus. We went with my husband and our son, he is almost 3 years old.
The hotel is just wonderful! We were mega satisfied with our stay and will definitely come here again. We chose this hotel based on reviews and were not disappointed.
I want to say right away that we do not have too much luggage of travelers (Turkey - 2nd time, Egypt, Europe), but we are used to comfort and are quite demanding. Especially since they were flying with a child. I also want to note that this is HV, i. e. don't expect glamor, glitter, marble, gold and pomp in general here. Everything here is home-style - just what we love after a busy city life.
Settlement and room: Settled quickly. We turned to the girl Tate, who was praised here, so that they would give us a quieter room, because. were heard about the discos of neighboring hotels. Naturally, everyone did exactly the opposite - they gave a number near the courts, the disco rattled until one or two in the morning. It was possible to change the room the next day, but we arrived only for 7 nights, we had already unpacked everything, the room suited us, we went to bed late. The noise did not disturb the child at all, but annoyed us. In general, we decided not to strain about this and stayed in this room. The family gave a 2-room number, although they paid for the standard. The room is clean, comfortable, tiny, but it was enough for us. The tiny balcony was wonderful - great view of the garden and amazing birdsong in the morning! New plumbing in the bathroom, shower. Cleaned up every day. Tipping was left every other day. The room has an electronic safe and a minibar, which is very convenient. Air conditioning is personal for each room, but we did not need them - it was fresh in the evening. Mosquito repellent is not needed - mesh on the windows and on the balcony door.
Territory: chic, a lot has been said about it. There is where to walk with the child and sit in silence. Some pines and air are worth something. Everywhere is clean and tidy. It was very nice to sit by the fountain or by the fish pond during the day.
Restaurants and food: - round the clock food. The food is plentiful and varied. We are picky eaters, but we liked everything here. Delicious and homemade. No frills, but you can always find something new. I was very pleased with the Turkish evening and the fish evening. There were mountains of strawberries - our son almost burst. Good puree soups (even my husband liked it), excellent yoghurts, fish, meat - there is always something to feed the child! Our son was 2.8 at the time of the trip - he ate from the common table. There were queues - I don’t deny it, but they dissipated quickly and we tried not to stand in them. With a large crowd of people, there is no escape from the queues. We tried to come not to the opening, but an hour later. There has never been a time when a dish was missing. The cooks always brought full trays. The same applies to the mountains of strawberries. All the cooks are wearing gloves, once I looked into the open door of the kitchen - everything is like in an operating room - everything is white and sparkling. Nicely!
Good wine and beer. They tried a little stronger alcohol - because they were with a child))). We tried mojito, martini cocktail, blue curacao, etc. Afternoon sweet table - a bunch of cakes, Turkish delight, crazy ice cream and fruit. They simply overate on ice cream (there were 5 types, Algida). I really liked the Turkish tea with Turkish delight and the small cups from which they drank it. But I didn’t like coffee at all - disgusting both in vending machines and from Turks. In general, we are coffee lovers, we are used to good coffee and exclusively from the Turks. This was not found here even in the Turks, but these are trifles.
Pools: 2 large + pool with slides + 3 children of different depths, which is very convenient. The pools were always the cleanest! Although we have never seen how they are washed. The sun loungers near the pools were mostly always occupied, but this did not bother us - we came to swim in the sea! But if you try, you can find a free one.
Beach and sea: the beach is clean, the sea is clear - what else do you need? There are plenty of sun loungers, you can always find a place (we came at 9 am)! The sea was chilly - 21-22, but we swam. My husband flew by parachute. Got a lot of fun!
Animation and entertainment: all sorts of events were held near the pool, volleyball was played on the beach. In the evening, a mini disco - my son really liked it, and then the show. I really liked the Turkish night - the performance of the drummers is just super! The performance of acrobats and jugglers was amazing - as it turned out, guys from Ukraine and Russia. In general, the evenings were not boring! We didn't go to the disco.
Contingent: no show-offs and spread fingers)). The audience is mostly intelligent, families with children, people over 30, elderly couples. There were, of course, young people. Many Germans, Balts, Slavs, there were guys from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Holland. We did not see anyone drunk or screaming (apparently we were lucky). The attitude towards Russians is good. By the way, everyone speaks Russian and it's fine.
Mini Club: simply amazing! Everything is new and beautiful, it was difficult to get my son out of there. It is very convenient that during the evening show, parents can safely leave their child there. We really did not leave one - too small yet. Excellent playground.
Bazaar: not far from the hotel (if you exit, then on the right). We walked there a couple of times. Bought Turkish delight, tea and magnets. Everything else, in my opinion, is rubbish at an unrealistic price. Shopping is better in Europe. Not bad prices for leather jackets - you can buy for 200-300 bucks. But we did not set ourselves such a goal.
Bottom line: our vacation was a success. Simena Sun Club is a hotel where you want to return again. You feel at home there, the atmosphere is great!
