The decision to go to this hotel was spontaneous, because the hotel I had chosen earlier was fully occupied at the end of September : (
Why Emelda? I love mountains and greenery, I don't like high-rise hotels where everyone is on top of each other, so the HV concept suits me perfectly.
I'll start with my very first impression of the hotel: no one paid attention to us at the reception, we had to wait 10-15 minutes. After filling out all the questionnaires and forms, we were taken to the 100th room. Maybe someone would have liked this number, but it did not suit us. It is without a balcony, in a building near the main pool, with thin doors, with zero soundproofing, so we would hear absolutely everything that happens on the corridor.

After 15 minutes, we decided to return to the reception and still get a room with a balcony (as this is the standard room prescribed in the contract). The girl said that they have only one room with 2 separate beds, it didn’t bother us at all, we easily figured it out together, especially the next day they brought us a double mattress : )
Our number was 330, in a 2-storey bungalow-type building, directly opposite Marco Polo. Of course, people who go to bed before 00, or people with small children, this is absolutely not suitable. Music with Marco Polo is heard from 10 am to 00, you need to be ready for this.
The room itself was not bad, a balcony surrounded by greenery, hot water at any time of the day, good mattresses, comfortable pillows.
As for the territory: every day we easily walked 10.000 - 12.000 steps, but we enjoyed it. Everywhere well-groomed lawns, flowers, trees, bushes, in general, they lived like in a park.
The pools, unfortunately, did not please us... The water was +22 degrees, and it did not warm up during the day absolutely, so after we got sick, we decided to swim only in the sea.
Hotel pros:
- certainly the territory;
- food (personally, everything was delicious to me, except for meat products, because I don’t eat them). Side dishes, soups, salads, pastries, seafood, pastries - everything was perfect. For children and people with health problems, a separate diet menu is prepared;
- alcohol. They have it just great, the bartenders prepare delicious cocktails, they don’t dilute anything with water. Personally, I recommend trying Pina Colada;
- Hotel staff. Everyone is friendly, attentive, (except for the reception) no one looks askance, is not rude;
- for children there is a mini-disco, an amusement park, slides, a mini-club.
Of the minuses, I would like to highlight:
- show programs. They are frankly boring. . . Evening discos are music for people 40+, and it practically does not change. Thanks to the bartenders from Olympos Bar, we were able to dance to this, but still we would like some kind of variety, and at least 1.5 hours of music for the younger generation;
- no coverage near the pools. Repeatedly I saw how people slipped, but the benefit did not fall. A very dangerous area, and it does not matter if you are shod or not. You need to be as careful as possible;

- well, how could it be without this... "booking" sunbeds with towels. For me, this is an indicator of the greediness of guests, and, unfortunately, there is a lot of this in Emelda, especially if you also like to relax on the pier. All the guests complain about it, but nothing changes. It is desirable for the administration to introduce fines for this.
I won’t say that Emelda is a super-duper hotel, but we had a good time there.
Will we go back there again? No, because another HV type hotel stole my heart.
I definitely want to note that Emelda is worth the money ($1400 for two for 8 nights), and of course I recommend it : )
