I will not describe the appearance - there are pictures of the sea. So a lot of bukaf.

Check-in, room, cleaning

Somewhere around 18.00. Yes, at the reception, of course, noble perverts. The room was given at the very end of the 4th floor, sort of like after renovation. The furniture is new, modern, functional and unpretentious, except for the old shabby armchair and ottoman. THREE beds, THREE, Carl! One and a half, yes. Fuck me and my wife three beds, probably no one knows. At the request to change the room with one normal double bed, they say there are no ready-made rooms with a double bed, come in the morning (they didn’t ask for money). In the bar, I later heard three boys complaining that they were put in a room with one large bed and one small one. I didn’t change the room, I just moved two beds and that’s it, I arranged the view from the balcony to the mountains, and I go to the balcony, only hang towels to dry.

The bed, although new, creaked terribly under me, the mattresses were normal.
There are very few renovated rooms, at least, on the 4th floor (judging by the new doors and occasionally thrown glances while cleaning other rooms, by the way, there is furniture, although tired, but obviously richer in appearance). The repair was probably done by local jamshuts, so there are quite a lot of stocks (it should be level), I won’t describe who did the repair, he will see everything right away and laugh. There are decent gaps under the entrance doors, so what is happening in the room in the corridor can be heard quite well (Salute to young couples! Hello to old farts! ). The plumbing is fairly new, the water did not drain well in the shower (there was no slope and a weak canal), the second person was already splashing in a light swamp.

Cleaning. Where? Cleaning?? ? Has anyone seen cleaning? No, someone came in, made the beds, changed linen and towels (or folded neatly? ), vacuumed in the center of the room (probably).
But the one who cleaned was (probably) very inexperienced, he (probably) did not know that the dust on the bedside tables and the mirror table, prints from sweaty glasses and bottles, plaster from the tile seams on the sink table (from the very first day! ) turns out to be you need to at least slightly wipe it with a wet rag, this, it turns out, is quite enough (that's how it is, mikhalych, that's how it is! ). Until the enraged Madam (wife) caught the senior cleaner by the trunk and poked her nose into the imperfection of the cleaning in this room. Someone even got experience, someone began to do the cleaning a little more thoroughly, asking Madam if Madam was happy with everything, otherwise because of the (evil, snickering) Madam, someone will now be punished. Madam sighed, but the hair of an unknown blonde, lying in the very corner, I think, was inherited by the next guests.

In principle, everything suited me, the condo, the refrigerator and the safe worked, there was a place to sleep and it was quite convenient - thank God!

Before the blonde in the corner, I didn’t have the strength to even just walk.

Hotel, territory, hotel services

A cool hotel building with transparent elevators, an awesome -0 floor with a relaxation area with armchairs, sofas with tables, an oriental area with pillows and carpets, a bar with alcoholic drinks and cocktails that the bartenders interfere with. Hamam (I didn’t go, although it seems like one visit is free), where they give out and change beach towels for a deposit.

On the -1st floor there is a reception with an arrival-departure area, just an area with sofas, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the pool and animation stage, supposedly for Internet surfing. Oh. There is practically no internet in the hotel. Wi-Fi 20 meters in the reception area and the beginning of the area with sofas, for a maximum of 25-30 people. In the evening it is simply unrealistic to log in, well, or at a very slow speed. In the morning (when there are no people) you can even send pictures and call on viber.
Further a lobby bar with a terrace with umbrellas outside including. I did not understand the concept of the lobby bar at all. Soft drinks, tea, coffee, cookies. One good coffee machine and coffee machine, as in the dining room. A good coffee machine even sometimes works and it is even sometimes filled with normal coffee, but basically not very good coffee is brewed for you by a coffee machine, and a normal machine does not work. There is no cappuccino (what they call cappuccino is coffee with milk, there is no foam cap at all), there is a cappuccinatore, but who would use it. The espresso is weak and sour, my espresso is twice as strong. What the two bartenders do is not entirely clear, to be honest. Poke two buttons? In short, coffee is not good.

A photographer sits near the reception, takes one photo (source) for free. The photo session is great, the rest of the sources are for money, I don’t know how much, the quality is very decent.

Again, near, but on the other side, a very stylish lady is sitting, who is in charge of a la carte, although she does not speak Russian at all, but my three words in English were more than enough (Fish, drink fries? Haha).

Football field, volleyball, tennis courts (I heard how a girl agreed to a tennis court for the night, they say it’s hellish heat during the day. An amphitheater for animation, a children’s pool (or not for children, I’ve never been, I just went to look at it) with a small water park, decorated like a wolf's head, it looks cool, all the photos of the hotel have it as a brand name. By the way, ice cream is served there from 14.00 to 16.00.

Eatery

There is enough food, the food does not end, the food is different and quite tasty. There are queues because of the corona, but it’s tolerable, you get used to it quickly enough, though they don’t always understand how much you want and impose MORE than you would like. Tea, coffee - paper cups, occasionally, when you ask, a cup.
Paper cups are different, but for some reason they pour them into small ones, and when you ask for a large coffee (double), they pour two small ones, and not into one large one, no matter how you ask. No teaspoons - sticks. All this, I think, is a consequence of covid.

A la carte three: fish, Italian and Turkish. You can choose one for free. We went to the fish bar (it was a snack bar on the sea from 12.00 in the afternoon with hamburgers, fried potatoes and something else there, I have never been there, I just drank beer at the bar). Having been in different hotels for different a la carte, where some differ from canteens only in the presence of a waiter and a separate room, I was not eager for a la carte, but there was time and we decided to go. Worth a visit: a very good menu, completely different from a canteen, an open terrace under the pine trees with gorgeous views of the evening (white) sea and mountains in the haze.

bars

By the pool (until 22.00) and - 0 - (I don’t know how long, I went to bed earlier, like before 24.00), by the sea (until 18.00). No complaints at all.

The bartenders are great, the declared cocktails interfere with everything. On the spot they pour it into glass, into paper with them. They get used quickly and know what and how much you need. Alcohol is different: beer, different vodka, rum, tequila, crayfish, cognac, gin, whiskey, white and campari vermouth, white and red wine, in short, choosing what to drink to your taste is quite real.

Beach and sea

There is no beach. From the word at all. Approximately 200 sunbeds for more than 400 rooms. People at 6-7 in the morning go to take sunbeds, after 8.00 there are no more sunbeds (some of them are empty until 10-11, people sleep and eat). Not good, but I didn’t really care if I didn’t lie down on the beach. The beach is pebble and even, one might say, Galina. We occupied sunbeds near the pool, it takes 2-3 minutes to go to the beach, you take a towel, throw it on the stones and into the SEA! THE SEA was suuuuppeeeeeer! You go into the sea for the worst, you can’t react in any way, the water is warm, you dive (or don’t dive) and hang out in the water for at least an hour and you don’t want to go out.
The water is dense, very salty, the body holds even without additional gestures. Sometimes, when there was no wave, I even managed to sprinkle on my back for a while. And to the pool. Roast for an hour by the pool, drinking beer and sometimes cooling off in it (in the pool, not beer), and again for an hour at sea. Krrrasota!

Animation. Didn't take part, but watched with pleasure. The guys are lively, mobile, there are a lot of competitions and they are cool (I haven’t seen some anywhere). In short, they are trying.

Tours. They didn’t take it from the guide and didn’t intend to, as usual, it’s more expensive and blah, blah, blah insurance, blah, blah, blah, the horrors of street operators, blah, blah, blah, I was offended by you and I won’t help.

On the street, there are a lot of branches of large travel agencies, such as Ginza, Maxwell, Mars and a bunch of small ones, which you can choose according to your taste and budget (although you should still read reviews on specific excursions from specific travel agencies).
We took the cool boat Meduza from Maxwell, just a bomb, the team is great and the lighter captain is super, it was fun and very beautiful.

At a very tiny Evada (very close to Rox, I’ll write a review on them later on Tripadvisor) they took Pamukkale + Salda Lake at a simply awesome price of 45 USD. e per person on a small (16 people), comfortable bus with air conditioning without visiting trade establishments. There was a little bump at the end of the trip, but the price…. The price won everything (look separately Pamukkale, separately Salda, Pamukkale + Salda and even without outlets, yeah). There are many excursions, excursions are different, everything can be viewed on the websites of the listed agencies with reviews and prices, or you can find some other smaller agencies, of which there are also a lot.

Near. Rox is located in the center of Kemer and this is its biggest plus, everything is nearby, everything is close.
You go to the left, past Dream, you go out to Waikiki on Ataturk Boulevard, to the left behind it there are a lot of shops, on this and that side, but you don’t have to buy in them right away, there are completely inadequate price tags and sellers.

If you go right and keep to the left side (Deniz street) past the karaoke bar, Hulk Guy Park and further, you will reach, on the right side, to the Liman pedestrian street, with a bunch of shops, again Waikiki, etc. . On the left, if you turn left from Liman, you will go to the park, McDonald's, burgerking and marina with a chic fish restaurant overlooking the marina with moored yachts. And right there - somewhere there should be a market (ask any Turk, they all crackle in Russian), grocery on Mondays, clothes on Thursdays.
If you go to the right of the Rocks, but keep to the right side past the Crystal (Hukumet street), then you will reach the intersection with Ataturk Boulevard, through which the White Clock Tower (the symbol of Kemer) stands on the square with the Ataturk monument, past a bunch of shops you will go to Waikiki again, a good grocery market (no worse, and maybe better than Migros), across the road - economic (something there Bazar), FLO (shoe store), grocery Migros. If you do not cross the intersection, but go left along Ataturk Boulevard, there will be a bunch of shops, cafes, then again you will stomp to Liman, but on the other side. In short, getting lost is almost impossible. My wife and I, turning from Ataturk Boulevard into some street towards the sea, past tiny hotels, apartments, shops and private houses, we came to the well-worn Deniz street.
Summing up: the Rox Royal Hotel is not even a bad hotel, but a bunch of small, not fundamental, but trifles clinging to the eye does not allow me to give it 5 stars. Four solid!

Fat cons: no (weak) internet, poor housekeeping, almost no beach and sunbeds on it.

Worthy pluses: city center, good territory, good enough food (except coffee), restaurant service, excellent bartenders, good animation. VIEWS of mountains, SEA.
