Therefore, I am very satisfied with my vacation.
But the hotel has its own nuances, which I want to share so that tourists are aware of it.
So, let's go through all the categories:
GENERAL FORM
At the entrance to the hotel, the appearance is a bit disappointing: it doesn’t feel like a classic Turkish 5 *. Rustic.
And when you start to move around the hotel - it's also dirty??? ? more precisely, all the glass partitions are dirty, of which there are many in the hotel: elevators, balconies, partitions between hotel zones. This is very eye catching. And why they don’t follow this, one can only guess and write it off as a reduction in the staff budget during quarantine time. But even that doesn't justify them. Still, cleanliness affects the comfort of guests, and of course determines the level of the hotel. For 5 * this is definitely unacceptable.
Orka Sunlife was built in 2013. For the Fethiye region, the hotel is considered not old, because at the same time tourists go to hotels built in 1989 or 1993 with renovation and more than 10 years ago.
So, for 2013, the hotel looks worn out. And the interior is not as modern as we would like. Overall, though, it looks good. Just again: the appearance and size does not reach 5 *.
LOCATION OF THE HOTEL
Orka Sunlife is located on a mountain 2.5 km from the beach in the village of Oludeniz.
There is a shuttle from the hotel that takes guests to the beach at 9:30.10:30, from the beach - at 15:00.16:00. The shuttle is comfortable, but the time for summer is not the most convenient. Just right for the heat.
Walking to the beach is not an option at all. The road leads down, absolutely unsuitable for pedestrians. In general, only well-trained physically people can walk upstairs. For stomping 2 km uphill is not a walk along the promenade.
Therefore, the easiest, but not the cheapest option is a taxi. The call is possible both from the hotel and from the Oludeniz promenade.
The price is about 30 lire per car (~$3.5).
There is also an option to get from the beach to the turn to the hotel on the passing Oludeniz-Fethiye minibus. The fare is 7.5 lire per person. The main disadvantage of this option: you will need to cross a busy road where there is no pedestrian crossing (if you go to the hotel). This is another "attraction".
And after crossing the road to the hotel, there is a 50-meter climb up the mountain, and then a descent. The heat is also a difficult task.
And in general the hotel itself is located in the mountains. And the buildings are built uphill. Those who will be placed in the rooms of the Saturn or Uranus building will have to overcome more than 60 steps uphill.
ROOM
Ushatanny, removed superficially. Bed and towels are not changed every day. Bed linen can also be worn out.
The interior is simple. This is about a standard room. There are premium categories with a pool or jacuzzi. There, they say, the rooms are better.
ANIMATION
There is every evening. But for us it was not interesting.
Perhaps this is due to the fact that on our dates there were more guests from Turkey, and the program was more prepared for local vacationers.
NUTRITION
The choice of food is good. Breakfast is standard (eggs, pancakes, vegetables, cold cuts). And for lunches and dinners there are always several types of meat, fish. There were enough sweets and fruits (watermelons, melons, apples, grapes, pears, plums). Basically everything is delicious. But it's monotonous. All food is served by waiters. The staff does not know Russian, English is also bad. Therefore, to choose food you have to poke your finger. Alcohol of normal quality (beer, wine, sparkling, liqueurs, tinctures, cocktails made from stronger alcohol).
BEACH
The most beautiful thing here is the sea. Turquoise, clear. Even those who do not like the sea remain indifferent. The beaches of Oludeniz are sandy, in the area of u200bu200bsetting into the sea - small pebbles, very comfortable. The depth begins almost immediately.
The hotel has an area with sun loungers on Tiger Beach.
The Blue Lagoon is a 5-minute walk away.
but... a taxi $ 4 one way to the sea or overcome a big mountain and a minibus less than $ 1. We did not get free buses from the hotel, they are at 9-30 and 10-30 and back at 16 and 17. And our the schedule with the baby was 8-30-11 and 16-19 on the beach. All the time it was expensive to take a taxi 4 times a day, and so we went up that mountain with a stroller . . bbrr. who without children and can lie on the beach almost all day, you will definitely be fine)) well, we concluded not to settle on any mountains anymore.
In relation to the territory - a lot of steps. Again, there is nowhere to walk with a stroller (but the territory itself is beautiful! There are many nice South Africans to sit in the evening.
According to tourists, they expected about 10 percent of Russian speakers, but it turned out that 40 percent were definitely Russians.
Beach own, or rather rented - convenient! Turquoise water is awesome! But for tourists with children, it’s better to go to the paid blue lagoon with small pebbles and a smooth entry into the water, there are a lot of people there (entrance is 7 lira per person, 15 lira sunbed and 10 umbrella.
The embankment in Oludeniz is super cozy! A lot of paragliders - it's fun to watch how they soar and land, and even more fun to fly) that's all for now!
If you have any questions - ask!
Excellent food and drinks, excellent staff, good spa, sauna, massage, hydro pool!
But for a great holiday you need to know English!
Vacationers are almost 100% English and the staff does not speak Russian! Have a good rest!
The main advantage is the SPA center.
The hotel is located behind the Oludeniz resort, on a mountain, very far from the sea.
There is a bus to the beach 2 times a day.
The territory of the hotel itself, in my opinion, is not at all functional.
The hotel buildings are located in steps, it is difficult and tiring to climb up to them, and even more so with luggage or children.
They plan to make an elevator to facilitate movement, but it will not be available for all buildings. Suitable only for athletes and everyone who is afraid to gain
weight from olinklusive ; )
Also, the territory of the hotel has practically no greenery and shade, during the day it is very hot under the scorching sun, there is nowhere to hide.
Standard rooms are small and cramped.
