Just returned from this hotel. I assumed, of course, that the hotel would not pull five stars, but so much so!
In order.
They settled me on the first floor with a view of the chicken coop / rabbitry and the garbage dump. The window cannot be opened at all - immediately a terrible smell from the garbage. Sitting on the balcony is also no pleasure, as you know. I immediately asked to change the number, but they said that it was impossible on that day, because. the hotel is full. I tend to believe this, because the people really were full. But I appreciated all the charm of accommodation early in the morning with roosters in the literal sense. Ku-ka-re-ku at five in the morning on vacation, when you want to sleep off - this is already more than...

Two days later I was moved (oh, what it cost me! - I had to hammer them several times a day) - a room on the fourth floor with a beautiful view of the sea and the pool. The beauty. But even here it has its shortcomings - it is forced to disappoint everyone again. Below is a restaurant and a bar, and a little to the right is an amphitheater. Animation ends at 11pm. But the bar is usually open for quite a long time, and even if it is closed, people still buzz after midnight. This is to the fact that if you want to go to bed early, again, you can’t open the balcony. Why do I so rest against the open window - a very pleasant cool breeze from the sea in the evenings, which, you see, is much better and healthier than air conditioning. Somehow, after all, the people calmed down early and I left the balcony open. But! I did not take into account the annoying little things - a mosque was built nearby. And, as expected, at 04.30 in the morning, the mullah called everyone to prayer. . .
So, wherever you are settled, if you want to sleep - only with tightly closed windows... This does not save you from a rooster, however.
To be honest, I don’t understand how it was possible to build a hotel with a claim to five stars in such a place - wall to wall with a chicken coop. At the reception they say that this does not apply to them. That's right, but you should have thought about the neighborhood from the very beginning. As for the mosque, since the hotel was originally built for the Turks, I think this does not bother them. Although, as far as I know, this is a secular state and, unlike other Muslim countries, people do not observe prayer so strictly there.
Well, this is a dump! Under the windows of the rooms, in a hot climate! What the owners thought is a mystery.
The rooms are small for a 5 star. When I checked in, there was an extra in the room. bed (removed immediately, fortunately), and so, sleeping places in this case occupy almost the entire area of the room. So if you go as a family with a child - just do not turn around. Separate article - bed linen. For some reason, instead of a blanket in a duvet cover, or at least sheets and blankets - a hard and unpleasant to the touch coverlet.
As for cleaning, it depends on the conscientiousness of the maid. Everything about my first room was just perfect. Everything is clean, washed and cleaned. In the second, as I understood, they simply changed towels, and spun swans from sheets. It would be better to wash the floor and wipe the table and bedside tables. Somehow I accidentally dripped juice on the table and did not wipe it off - I come - the stain remained. Out of interest, I did not wipe it - the same result. Well, not proud, I removed it myself : -) The glasses were not washed either, by the way. And all this despite the fact that I left tips regularly.

The hotel area is small. Everything you see in the photos between the hotel and the sea - that's the whole area. The photo also enlarges, by the way. The hotel itself actually looks quite as pompous as in the photo. Much more compact. Those. nowhere to go in the evening. There is nothing in the village, just houses. You can go to Didim by minibus without air conditioning - I didn’t have a desire. Taxi is very expensive. They've got gas for three dollars.
Dining room. It is a dining room, because it can not be called a restaurant.
I warn you right away that it is better to come for breakfast from 08.00 to 09.00, for lunch and dinner - by the end.
Why is that:
- in all NORMAL hotels, if breakfast starts at 07.30 - then at that time everything is absolutely ready. If it is planned to prepare scrambled eggs / scrambled eggs / pancakes on the spot by the cook, then the cook is already standing and preparing; if freshly squeezed juice (albeit for an additional fee) - the waiter is standing and already squeezing, etc. Immediately the cook starts cooking after eight, before that the stove warms up for half an hour. Any diluted juices are brought from the kitchen somewhere closer to nine o'clock, the boy begins to prepare freshly squeezed orange juice around the same time. For me, this is completely incomprehensible. Why can't everything be prepared ahead of time?
Yes, there are not many people at breakfast from eight to nine, you can safely choose a comfortable table. After nine there is already a crowd and the resulting long queue for scrambled eggs / pancakes.

- It is better to come for lunch at 14.00, i. е. half an hour before the end, for dinner - at 20.30. At all other times, there is a HUGE number of people, you can’t find a table, and even queues for a hot one... As soon as you arrive, immediately put on plates what you are going to eat, right down to dessert / watermelon / melon / fruits and drinks. Otherwise, already at 14.20 / 20.50 the waiters slowly take everything to the kitchen. And you also risk losing what you have already brought for yourself. I had one unpleasant moment: I forgot to take tea for dessert and went for it. I return with a cup - the waitress removes the plates from the table, including my dessert, and puts someone's dirty plate right on top of it. Well, I speak English well and the girl understood everything. No, I did not yell in any way, but simply explained what the problem was. But what do you think? In a NORMAL hotel, with such an oversight, the waiter would first of all apologize and bring me a new dessert in return. This one pouted, pulled my plate out of the pile, put it on the table, turned and went to clean the rest of the tables. What is it?
As for the quality of food - everything is delicious, I have no complaints here. But the choice of hot is small - usually chicken and meat, two options, which is simply UNACCEPTABLE for five stars. A lot of vegetables, cooked in every way, for vegetarians just expanse. A good dessert table, but mainly for those who love oriental sweets. Fortunately, I belong to them, so at least here the hotel managed to please me. But there is no ice cream. Only for money.
What is still not clear to me in this hotel is that you have to take care of the drinks yourself. And for lunch and dinner. You go to the bar and order, they pour you, and you bring it to your table yourself. In all NORMAL five-star hotels, a waiter comes to the table, takes the order and brings it. And four stars too, for that matter.
You also have to take care of the appliances yourself. At the very beginning, of course, they are laid out on the tables, but then they are in no hurry to add them.
Only instant coffee (horror), tea - in a large thermos, quite strong and tasty - but for those who love Turkish black tea. For everyone else - bags.
Ordinary drinking water in large bottles is usually taken to the room from the restaurant, otherwise just buy for money, or run to the cooler. It seems like you can’t do it - take away the bottle, but after all the “gifts” of this hotel, I personally didn’t give a damn about it.
There is a bar in the hotel and by the pool. On the beach, a house is also provided for him, it even says "Beach Bar", but in fact, sun loungers and umbrellas are stored in this room. All this is also inconvenient, because. dragging from the sea to the pool is not always a hunt, you know.
If you face the sea, then on the right in the very corner of the beach there is a small private bar where you can drink wonderful Turkish coffee. Also there is tea, ice cream, other drinks, hookah. But it's all about money.

The sea is shallow, which is very good for children and those who swim poorly. First, the water was knee-deep for a long time, then to the hips, then again knee-deep, then waist-deep, and already at the buoys and behind them you can swim normally. There is often wind and small waves, but it's even nice. The only thing is when the waves, the sea is no longer so transparent, but this is because of the sand.
The beach is small. More or less clean.
I can’t say anything about the animation - I didn’t notice it. The animators did something, of course, but by the pool. And it was even reluctant to go to the evening program.
I did not swim in the pool, but even with the naked eye it was clear that it was dirty. But they chlorinate it shamelessly in the evenings, the smell is the same.
I can give the hotel three stars, and even then with an interference - only because the hotel building is beautiful.
In general, if it were not for the wonderful excursions, then the rest would not have been a success. I went to the temple of Apollo, Ephesus and Pamukkale (a wonderful excursion for two days), a boat trip with the island of Cleopatra. Tez Tour works very well, everything is organized perfectly. Transfers on time, everything is convenient. The guides are just great, very knowledgeable, with a great desire to make the tour interesting for everyone. Special thanks to the hotel guide Oksana. She helped in everything, but unfortunately, she does not own the hotel and cannot significantly change anything.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND the hotel at all. Those who are already going there, consider my review, I hope it helps and you will know what to expect. And for everyone else, I wish to spend money on another good and worthy FIVE-STAR hotel.
