Thanks to all the staff. We will definitely return to this hotel!
Upon arrival, the bulk were Turks, a better attitude was felt towards them, then they left and the bulk were Russian-Ukrainians, it became more fun. Matches from previous reviews:
1. City dogs on the beach.
2. Poorly cleaned the territory, there were plates for a couple of days.
3. The rooms are standard spree, but we didn’t have mold and dirt, the room is clean. But very much in need of repair. The relax rooms said good, but they didn't work. They cleaned every day, changed the towels (once it came across with a hole, the rest were good), the floors were washed. The bedding is very new.
We had a standard room overlooking the garden - it's good that the sun does not hit, you sleep peacefully in the morning. Of the minuses - the noise from the restaurant (it is on the roof), slept with the balcony door closed and the air conditioner turned on.
Food: tasty, but monotonous. Of the benefits - the fish was a whole grill every day (dorado, sea bass, trout steaks). In the morning we made a delicious omelet on fire with vegetables. Desserts, ice cream and a snack bar (burgers, local pizza + a small assortment of the main restaurant) worked during the day.
Conclusion: this is definitely not a 5-ka. But after listening to others at the airport, it's still very good)
The sea is beautiful and clean
ate Kiev cookies. The food is excellent, everything is plentiful and tasty. Cleaning is a very big problem, they clean it up somehow and make them put shampoo, put coffee, and change towels will be a big deal. The grounds are clean, beautiful, the pools are warm and beautiful. There is no animation at all, they don’t take care of children, the children’s room started working after 3 days and the child refused to go there on day 2. The staff doesn't even know English, let alone Russian. Since we were going to rest, no one and nothing could spoil our mood. The main thing is amazing water and good mood. There are a lot of bars on the territory and the drinks are not even bad.
1) Territory - poorly cleaned, a lot of cigarette butts, dishes are not collected and can stand uncleaned for days.
2) The rooms are a quiet horror: broken lamps, a refrigerator with black mold inside, dirty towels (stained), linen change only on the 5th day instead of the declared 3rd and the duvet covers were simply turned to the left side, a rusty dryer, cigarette butts in dried flowers on the loggia, which is not cleaned (there are cobwebs everywhere), shabby walls and paintings, in the bathroom all the appliances are in green mold, the shower does not work. I can confirm with photos.
3) Check-in - having paid for a room with a sea view, we got a room with a view of the neighboring roof and we could not do anything about it.
4) Service - well below any acceptable level. All service is tailored to the Turks, and they simply do not care about Russian tourists. At breakfast / lunch / dinner, drinks are served 1 time out of 10, periodically I had to look for forks / napkins while the waiters stand and do nothing - they mainly respond only to the requests of the Turks; once our room was left wide open after cleaning, and in the evening, having arrived from an excursion, we were extremely surprised by this; asked to help us with the suitcases during the eviction - no one came up; I lost a rather expensive stole - so at the reception no one could explain to me who I can find out if they suddenly found it. The only person who at least somehow tried to help in solving problems is a girl named Indra, she is responsible there for communications with the guests.
5) The food is the only thing that is not to be complained about, there is variety and good quality. The coffee is disgusting (Nescafe 3in1) - only a couple of days later we managed to find 1 bar on site where Turkish coffee was brewed.
What on figs management ISO 9001? They seem to have drawn their own stars.
As a result, we paid for a 5-star hotel with the hope of a relaxing holiday, but as a result we ended up in a poor hotel and had a lot of problems. No more foot in Bodrum! And I don't recommend it to anyone.
Gumbet is the most clubbing fun and no-sleeping place in Bodrum, Royal Asarlik Beach stands in the heart of Gumbet. From the end of April to the end of October, clubs are open, the music from which you will definitely hear and feel the awake Gumbet in your rooms at the Royal Asarlik Hotel, and at night until 4:30 in the morning and during the daytime next to the hotel is the beach club Alora Beach, in daytime club music , foam discos and various shows .
In May and October, not all clubs will work yet, it will be more calm.
By booking a transfer with this hotel, other hotels or kiwi taxi, then everyone goes to the international terminal, you should be able to call the hotel or the driver. By taxi or private transfer you will reach the hotel 30-35 in the morning, day and night small traffic jams when you drive through the city center 40-50 min.
The above transfers are exactly the same for WOW Bodrum Resort and Goddess of Bodrum Isis Hotel and other Gumbet and Bitez hotels.
Unlike other 5 * hotels in Bodrum (WOW Bodrum Resort and Goddess of Bodrum Isis Hotel) in the Gumbet area, the hotel building is not located on a hill, leaving the central exit of the hotel and turning to the right you will see the Gumbet embankment, you can also get to the embankment from one of the hotel's beaches.
The hotel has rooms in the main building and relax bungalows. All the time settled in a relax room.
The rooms are old - “the rooms are tired”, the room has a double bed, a small niche sofa, a mini boudoir table for cosmetics with a mirror, a separate table with a kettle, cups and tea bags, coffee, sugar, cream and 1.5 bottle of water. Safe in the room for free. The bathroom has a washbasin, a shower cabin and a toilet bowl, all bath and cosmetic accessories are replenished every day. In the fridge there are 2 bottles of different cola 0.5+ each 2 bottles of mineral water 0.33+ 2 bottles of 0.33 each in Schweppes tangerine glass. The balcony is wide and with a beautiful view of the Gumbet bay. There are rooms with a terrace and a small garden overlooking the bay.
Near the relax rooms there is a fountain with a mini stream, which stretches and runs to the private closed beach of the hotel.
The hotel has 2 swimming pools and 2 beaches. The first pool + beach is located in a closed area of the private area of \u200b\u200bthe hotel. You need to cross a small road to the second pool from the second exit from the hotel, you can from the central exit.
Pool number 2 is located above the beach and next to the amphitheater for animation, if you go down the steps of the amphitheater and go through one of the hotel cafes, you will immediately go to the second beach located near the Gumbet embankment, the beach "party joy have fun beach", in the summer on this beach always fun and all day long you can hear music from the beach club Alora beach and nearby hotels and restaurants.
The main restaurant is a fairy tale, located on the roof of the hotel, offers a panoramic view of the entire bay of Gumbet. Once at breakfast, I sat for 2 hours, watched and enjoyed Gumbet Bay. Just to see this panorama is worth coming here. The food is good, fresh, there is always a lot of choice of chicken and lamb dishes, a lot of fruits and vegetables, seafood fish every day. For the most beautiful view from the restaurant, I forgot about the food.
Wifi worked everywhere in the room, in the restaurant, on 2 beaches, at 2 pools
Around the hotel: if you leave the hotel, turn left and walk 20-30 meters to the right, there will be a road leading to clubs, shops and other places in Gumbet - go 7-10 minutes, there are 2 ATMs on the corner and a taxi stop nearby. Halfway through your journey
A large Gumbet tattoo salon, where you can not only safely get a tattoo, but hair styling, manicures and other cosmetic procedures. At the hotel for styling long hair you will be charged 15-20 euros, here in the salon with a simple master 25 lira and a professional master 40 lira. Open almost 2:00 am.
Having passed this road, you will come out to the street of bars and clubs, although the lights are already on at 9-10 pm, the best time to visit is after 12:30 at night. Affordable club Bar X Club or X Bar, expensive Pasha Club, in which often especially from mid-May to the end of September they invite famous Djs, singers, mostly famous Turkish ones, but there are also stars, in Pasha Club there were Pitbull shows, Inna, DJ Sash.
Transport (for hotels) Dolmushi with a light green - light green stripe go around the Gumbet district, in the summer from 4:30 am to 2 am. The cost to the center of Bodrum is 3 lira. This year 2017, public transport appeared in Bodrum, 2.5 lira will cost a trip to the city center.
Active and sports holidays in, in April, running competitions for amateurs are held in Bodrum, usually locals and tourists from different hotels run or go in for walking from Gumbet near the start near the Rosso Verde hotels and the beginning of the hill at the entrance to the Goddess Isis hotel to the embankment of Bitez Bay. You can walk from the hotel to the nearest sights of the Bodrum mills, you will always see them from the central restaurant or the hotel's beach, approximately on foot the embankment + uphill about 3 km, you need comfortable shoes! or to Mindos Gate is the exit from Gumbet, close to McDonald's and Oasis shopping center.
SUP boarding has gained great popularity in this windless bay and not very deep near the shore. They will give you 15 minutes to ride for free.
Despite the fact that the hotel has a very good sandy beach and a gradual entry into the sea for small children, children's animation and a kids club, a separate children's menu, I do not recommend relaxing in the summer in this hotel with children and also for those who want a quiet summer quiet vacation.
+ rich hotel, picturesque views, romantic place, good restaurant, good food, friendly staff, decent audience among vacationers
- the confusing territory of the hotel, it is difficult to navigate in the hotel building (for example, to get to my room, I had to take the elevator to the 4th floor from the reception, exit and turn into a long corridor to the left of the elevator, then turn right in the long corridor and go not reaching the end, periodically turning back and forth, not making a mistake with the door on the right, exit to block "B" and get there (! ) On the 2nd floor, then get into the elevator and go to the 4th floor, then turn right, then to corridor again to the right, go through 4 rooms and now..... fuh... I'm at home (((( I managed to remember this whole combination only by the 3rd day of my stay. Before that, I constantly had to ask the maids to see me off... ); the staff does not speak Russian, does not willingly remove used dishes from the room (therefore, I do not recommend ordering food in the room), all information in the hotel is in English, animation is in English and rather sluggish (foreigners, unlike Russian tourists, are not very active on vacation (animators are simply not for no one to try)), entry into the sea is long and not very pleasant (sharp pebbles, I had to swim and swim almost in shallow water. I don’t know how long it took to get up to the throat or at least up to the chest ((((
+/- no Russian vacationers, no surf on the sea (bay)
but this hotel reminded me of a large catering. a crowded restaurant, for a thousand people who are constantly walking, shouting, jingling dishes. it looks like a public catering on Khreshchatyk - "Healthy Bula". the same noise and din. there is no place, well, except for your room, where you will feel calm - there will always be someone hanging around, lying down, smearing their big body with an abundance of sunscreen. Of course, there were enough sun loungers for everyone - both in the garden, and near the pools, and on the beach. but comfort was lacking. I spent 4 days in it, and we moved to another. Karya Princess. but that's a completely different story)
