There is also a sandy beach (sand is imported separately).
Good food and unobtrusive good service.
Recommended for families with children and couples.
Although single girls will be comfortable here.
Separately, I would like to thank the guide Elnur who helped me change the hotel. Thanks for the great service!
Wi-Fi works perfectly throughout the hotel, on the beach in general there is a top, it even caught us in the room. The territory is small, but a lot of flowers, even grass was planted on the roofs and thorough cleaning every day!!!!
Room cleaning is good and every day, we had 10 days, the bed was changed 4-5 times during this time. Towels, slippers, shampoos, gels, soaps, etc. were all brought EVERY DAY! Beach towels were brought packed to the room every day too (since quarantine, all things) New towels are not worn out. The beach is a separate love, the sun loungers are good, the only thing that "nests" is for a fee of 10 dollars.
per day, but this is true everywhere, except for premium hotels, like Rixos or Vogue Gotel.
The location of the hotel is excellent, to the embankment of the village of Yalikavak Marina 10 min. walking along the colorful fishing promenade in the style of Greece, where the locals live. I recommend to everyone!! ! it's incredibly beautiful! Atmospheric and in general, as if, not Turkey, but the Greek Islands, well, this is not surprising, to the island of Kos, there it takes 20 minutes to sail on a boat, unfortunately we were not lucky, because there was a quarantine and Greece closed its borders . . In general, there are many cafes with affordable seafood and nice prices, markets, locals who sell freshly squeezed olive oil, and they are so cute and friendly, they try to speak English so that you understand them, no one clings to like in Antalya, Kemer, etc...yachts, incredible sunsets, and even Nusr-Et Steakhouse, Yalikavak!
There is also a bus station nearby, you can go to Bodrum for 7 tours.
pounds, or take a taxi from the hotel, about $20.
If you go to the right of the hotel, then there is their Mosk (mosque), as well as a local beach where you can feel all the colorful life of the village.
In general, I recommend the hotel and Yalikavak is LOVE forever!
Stayed at the Marriott network twice: in Monaco and Amman. This is what was decisive in choosing a hotel in Bodrum. I love Marriott with their hotel scent, premium cosmetics, scented towels and quality rooms. But here in Bodrum from "Marriott" only the name.
Territory: There is no actual territory. A deck upholstered with boards made of some kind of plastic alloy, where the bars are located. Down the elevator is the beach, also on a plastic surface. If you dream of leaving the city to enjoy nature, then you are not here at all.
Beach: there is a bulk sandy one for children and a deck with stairs for adults. if you overslept and came at 10 o'clock, there may no longer be free sunbeds. Everything is covered with towels.
Rooms: We took the standard with a view of the garden. In addition to the garden, the sea was also visible. Thanks! Everything is very modest and concise. But the bathroom upset me the most: at night it smelled terribly badly of sewerage, a dirty countertop with a washbasin. Dirty plums of water (added a photo). The most unpleasant thing is the huge cockroaches that crawl out of open drains at night.
For some reason, cosmetics here are not the same as in previous Marriotts, not Acca Kappa, but cheap local spills and strange consistency. I always believed that there should be one standard in a hotel chain. In general, take everything.
Life hack: if your mattress is squashed, just turn it over to the other side, it will be more comfortable.
Food: I'm used to simple and healthy food, so everything suited me, there were always steamed and fresh vegetables. Upset meager fish menu. Before I booked, I read reviews that there was sea bass, apparently, they ate everything by my arrival)) . Of the fish, there were pieces of fried mackerel, some local boiled fish, and, as a delicacy, a couple of times in 10 days the cook gave portioned, pinch, salmon)).
Desserts, pasta, chicken, french fries, that's enough.
The hotel is about 50% Russian, 30% - Turks, 20 - Ukrainians, Poles.
Bar: 5 cocktails, wine, whiskey, gin, Baileys, etc. , it's all there.
Entertainment: mini-disco every evening, often live music and an adult disco, where Leps will be put on your cake like a cherry on a cake.
What terribly infuriated was the BRACELETS. Guys, 21st century!! ! What bracelets??!! ! Why are they not available in other hotels? In the same place, this issue was somehow resolved))) As a result, after a couple of days I took it off and went without.
A huge plus is the sea. Salty and clean, just floating in the spa)).
And finally: Departure was at 7 pm. We asked to extend the room for money, we were refused. They offered to transfer to economy, we agreed. At the same time, the economy for 5 hours of stay cost 60 euros. We paid the same amount in Kyiv for 2 days in the standard.
This was of course a big mistake. They settled in some kind of closet under the stairs, behind the fire exit. No windows, of course. But for some reason, a two-room. There was an impression that this was a room for the attendants, who stayed overnight, as there were large jars of shampoos in the shower. It was unpleasant.
The hotel is located in one of the most beautiful bays of Bodrum. The territory is small, unusual, built on several levels, connected by a system of elevators. The hotel is recently refurbished, modern, fresh and clean.
So, in order)
Check-in is from 14.00, and since we arrived early in the morning, we left our suitcases in the lobby and went for breakfast. After that, we spent time on the beach, so we did not experience any inconvenience.
The staff is polite and friendly, the only negative is that almost no one speaks English (Ukrainian and Russian too))
Number: be sure to take the sea veiw, great view! The room is spacious and very comfortable. Fresh clean linen, towels changed every other day or each on request, Cleaning daily, smart girls, work like bees. The room has everything you need, except for an electric kettle (I really wanted to have a coffee on the balcony at dawn in my pajamas)) and an iron.
The beach area is divided into sunset from the coast on white sand with turquoise water of unearthly beauty (very convenient for children) and a terrace with stairs. By the way, it’s not only convenient to go into the sea from it, but you can also see a lot of fish) we rested at the end of July, the climate is very comfortable, about 28 degrees during the day, water 25-27))
The contingent of vacationers is more than decent, mostly respectable Turkish families, foreigners, there are not very many Ukrainians, there are practically no Russians. The atmosphere of complete relaxation, despite the presence of a fairly large number of children) We were with my daughter 10 years old: the child was constantly in the water) in the sea or in the children's pool with slides.
There is practically no animation, there are night shows, very cool guys performed a couple of times. In the afternoon, entertainment is water gymnastics, beach volleyball, scooter riding and so on. But! Despite the fact that we planned to see the surroundings, the hotel "dragged" us with beauty, comfort and peace, so we decided not to carry out excursions or independent trips.
Separately, I want to note the wonderful SPA center of the hotel: many thanks to Agil and Okran, the masseuses girls: just super! I recommend visiting, magical procedures absolutely fit into the concept of complete relaxation and delight)
In terms of nutrition: delicious, varied, everything is fresh, a huge selection of vegetables, always several types of meat, fish. Fruits are all seasonal, but also delicious.
Very good local dry wines, especially rose with ice at sunset on the upper terrace)) from imported alcohol - whiskey. Strong local alcoholic drinks are not recommended)
As for the Ala carte restaurants - we dined in a fish restaurant, neither the menu nor the service made an impression. The only wish for food: I want more seafood)
Also from the life hacks: book lounge gazebos on the beach, it's very convenient and costs only about $6 per day.
In general, the holiday was a success. This is the first hotel in Turkey, where we, lovers of new adventures, really want to return again!
Thanks again to all the staff of the hotel for the hospitality and an unforgettable stay!
