When choosing the Hapimag hotel for a holiday in Bodrum, we encountered a meager availability of information about it in the networks, so my review is intended rather for "our" tourists, i. e. post-Soviet production.
So, after registration at the reception, you are left alone with yourself, because one Russian-speaking girl works there, who will tell you about the concept of the hotel, but briefly, without details. She works in shifts, mostly during the day, when everyone is on the beach and it's hard to catch her, the rest of the staff understands German, Turkish. A simple request for a needle and thread has turned into a problem that has not been solved, because. employees did not understand what we want from them (well, or pretended to). Then you will be taken to the building and look for the number yourself, there is no escort. Nature is beautiful, a lot has been written about it. In the photo it seems that the territory is huge, in fact everything is compact, everything is nearby, but you have to walk a little up the stairs, a bus rides, but not as often as we would like.
The beach is huge, which is very convenient, you can choose a place to your liking, there are always sun loungers. On the left side there is a wooden pier, it is cooler there, there are large stones when descending into the water, be careful! In the mornings, sea urchins sit, my husband stepped on one, since everything worked out with small wounds. Small pebbles in the center of the beach, it is convenient to swim with children. In the morning it was sometimes calm and then you can swim, but mostly it was windy and there were waves. And by the way, the water is cool in the sea, it is comfortable to swim in the morning and at 5 pm when the current changes. Take more sunscreen, I got burned in the shade, covered with a pareo and smeared with cream, just in the wind, from which you can’t hide.
Next room: we had in the 3rd building, nice and cool; plumbing and furniture in excellent condition, with a nice balcony. There are soap accessories of good quality, a mini-bar with drinks. They cleaned every day, but the mini-bar was replenished only 2 times in a week, they didn’t even leave water, they had to be dragged from the restaurant, the towels were also changed twice, once they took the foot towel and didn’t put a new one. Attempts to complain about the reception were unsuccessful, because, again, "I don't understand Russian. "
Restaurant: The quantity and quality of the food is excellent! Despite the quarantine, there is a lot of everything and very tasty, the service is on top, the waiters are great, they serve quickly and respond to every movement. In general, everything in the restaurant is very clean and sterile, they give out masks at the entrance and make sure that you wear them while you collect food. Animation: due to the situation with the virus, as you know, it simply does not exist. But there is like a nursery in nature. We went to a mini-Bodrum, well, a nice little courtyard, nothing special, really very stuffy, it was uncomfortable to be there, let alone eat, so we didn’t even take the opportunity to visit the Merhaba a la carte restaurant. By the way, you can sign up for a la carte by phone at a certain time, and if you don’t speak Turkish or German, don’t even try to call, there is an option to go to the restaurant itself and try to do it in English. There is a bar on the beach where you can take drinks, alcohol and ayran and that's it! Coffee, tea, ice cream at the bar near the playground. There are no snacks on the beach, you only need to go up to the restaurant.
To summarize everything: I was very upset by the lack of connection and feedback from the staff; since this year there were a lot of tourists from Ukraine and Russia, it is possible to organize a Russian-speaking little man to solve problems, or at least an English-speaking one. Since I really like to swim in the sea for a long time, next time I will choose a less windy bay, because in this hotel it is simply impossible to do it without harm to the skin.

I liked the hotel, the description matches. It is most likely suitable for families with children from 5 years old, since it is not always convenient to carry a stroller, especially in the heat, and it will not fit in the shuttle. Although there were vacationers with kids under 5 years old. There were enough sun loungers on the beach.

By hotel. No welkom meeting, be prepared to get the keys and carry your luggage to your room on your own. If you are accommodated in buildings 1.2, 3, ask the reception for a shuttle that will take you to the building, you will get to the room yourself. The buildings are located on a ledge on the mountain, we lived in 4 - it is the closest to the main building and the farthest from the beach.
Food. The main restaurant is quite decent. I was surprised by the coffee machine with natural coffee, for the first time I meet after many Turkish hotels, including riksos. And Turkish coffee at the bar on the beach also pleased. The food was varied, a lot of meat - lamb, beef, fish, some seafood. Various side dishes, vegetables, fruits. Sweet table 50/50 oriental sweets and cakes, pastries in our version. Turkish ice cream for lunch dinner and at the beach bar. Once every 7 days there was an ice cream cake.
Staff. The waiters and all the employees are friendly, they understand English, only one girl Anastasia knows Russian, she works next to the reception.
The hotel guests are mostly Turks and Italians, a few Germans and Russians, and quite a few British.
The concept of the hotel is very interesting - after dinner, those who wanted to get to the animation had to take a shuttle for 2 minutes and you would find yourself a little away from the hotel, but this is still its territory and the territory with villas. We also had access to the beach and courts there, but we had to take towels with us. Food and drinks are chargeable on the territory of the villas. We didn't have time to explore everything. It turns out that it was possible to use the territory and beaches of two hotels and choose to go to bed after dinner, when no one bothers you, or go to the animation with live music. I think this zoning in the hotel is very successful.
Another most interesting thing is that on the territory of the hotel and, as it turned out later, the city of Bodrum, cicadas chirp somewhere from 8 am to 9 pm. For those who haven't heard it, it's probably 10 times louder than a cricket. There is noise, sometimes strong, sometimes weaker, for 7 days I have not got used to it. If you don’t get hung up, it doesn’t bother you, but you won’t sleep with an open balcony. You don't hear them on the beach.
The nature and the sea are simply amazing. We will come here again.
