Or To Turkey for service!

How everyone got sick of this COVID-19. . . as if everything had stopped all over the world. . . as if there were no more problems. . .

Twice a year we fly on vacation - in NG and in August-September.

September 4. . . There was no more strength, to plow. . . to plow. . . to plow. . . gray everyday life, ZNO and the son's introductory campaign, and even horror stories about the virus. Nerves were on edge, my brain was seething and whistling like a kettle in the early morning.

It's good that our graduate son and then the applicant kept us at home. And nothing pulled me to book in advance the country I wanted. And think about a country where you can fly away without problems and tests for a quiet holiday. We really wanted to go to Georgia. Waited, chose, hoped to the last. But it’s not harmful to want, they didn’t wait... The numbers were running out, the son entered the university, and at school, on September 15, he should be like a bayonet! ) We counted by day in order to have time to rest, before the new step in my son’s life.

Virus. . . virus. . . quarantine. . . like a sickle. . . cut off the wings, where should a poor tourist go? Even in Ukraine, I began to look at the corners, but, as it turned out, there are no deserted ones (but we need to! )))

At the first call about the opening of borders and the first tourist birds, I immediately began to monitor where I could drag my family. Tourists from Turkey, Egypt and Albania were the first to fly back and forth without tests and problems. The temperature of Egypt did not please, I did not really want to fry and steam at 40-42 degrees. We have not been to Albania, it was prickly, I wanted something new, unknown. Stopped by the fact that the country is very close on the list to the "red zone". And spoil your vacation with isolation in a foreign country or at home - do we need it ? !

And Turkey? Mmmmm, I close my eyes and immediately remember. . .

. . . the aroma of Turkish coffee, the taste of various Turkish delight and the beauty of nature. And Turkey is famous for the best service and hospitality to us, Ukrainian tourists. Tested on our family, even on my little sons, from our past trips. Were (for a long time) in Kemer and Side. It's hot there in September, and the humidity is sooooo high, swimsuits never dry out, it was difficult to breathe and everything seemed sticky. The choice fell on the city of Bodrum with the Aegean Sea, in the bay with the funny (for me) name Torba.

A week before the vacation, we pay for a not the cheapest tour from the operator ANEX Tour, which includes insurance against COVID-19, ultra all inclusive, family 2-room suite, flight Azur Air Ukraine, for 10 nights. Not much, yes, but remember the dates, we have to study. I didn’t feel tired, but exhausted, that I didn’t even whine about excursions. Although, quietly, I dreamed of getting to Pamukkale.

I like to pack my bags in the summer, no "what if it's cold", just light summer clothes and shoes. And forward to the long-awaited vacation, to the sea and the sun! They also warned at the agency - everywhere in masks and not to take hand luggage. How not to take? Where to put everything of value? As a result, we packed into 2 luggage suitcases and one hand luggage bag, and it will be visible there (everything went well and the bag passed)!!! )))

Having read the negative reviews about the tour operator ANEX Tour and the airline, I was getting closer and closer to the terminal, so as not to get into trouble. At the entrance to the airport building, the temperature is measured, the entrance is only in masks. There are very few people during our departure time. Free and quiet. Surprisingly, they flew away on time, I worried in vain! )))

The flight to Bodrum airport was very successful, we had breakfast at home in the morning and had dinner at the hotel. And vice versa. But about food later)))

On the plane, they gave out questionnaire forms to fill out. Like "I haven't been sick, I haven't been, I haven't been in contact, I'll be there for so many days and there"! They must be submitted upon arrival at passport control. As for me, these questionnaires, in fact, did not interest anyone there, for show. They threw it in a box, a slap-slap stamp in the passport, and we are in Turkey. Easy.

I met a Russian-speaking girl from ANEX Tour like children in a kindergarten. She put me on a bus that was going to our hotel. She explained everything along the way, thank you. And I watched everything through the window, a landscape flying by, what a beauty! ))) The first, and then the final opinion was that there is a different Turkey in the Bodrum region. Not at all the same as on the Antalya coast. White houses in the mountains. Olive orchards. . .

. . . the sea. . . I haven't been to Greece, but eyewitnesses compare. I will not talk about history, but it says that Bodrum was part of Greece sometime before us. Bodrum itself is a port city, and therefore we chose a quiet and cozy bay, reminiscent of a village in the mountains by the sea: )))

The first thing that caught my eye was that very nice hotels next to the hotel are closed. It looks like they haven't been certified yet. The bus deftly taxied to our hotel, from the airport we and another family were dropped off first. Hotel Voyage Torba positions itself as a VIP. And here is an oil painting! A fingered lady jumps out in front of us, runs to the hotel to the receptionist! She went over everything with her appraising eyes. And casually so the guide answers: "Hmm... so-so... what's wrong with it?... there's nothing to do here! ". Indeed, at first glance and judging by the reception. . .

. . . then the hotel is really modest, without show-offs and pathos. It looks like a fabulous, sunny town. Everything for the convenience of guests. Who is dreaming about what vacation, country and hotel? We all have a different view on the quality of rest. There is no complete definition!

Well, here we are in the hotel, the light scent of lilies. . .

. . . greeting with smiles and cordiality, measured the temperature. We were escorted to the front desk. Grabbed suitcases. . .

. . . and started processing them.

They settled in very quickly, at the reception they speak English, but clearly and understandably. They put on a red bracelet for my son, and blue for my husband and I. My son looked longingly at those bracelets, 1.5 months are missing until he is 18 years old! And rightly so, even if he is tall, he has nothing to drink beer))) style="height: 800px; width: 800px" />

Everything went according to the standard scheme, and in a few minutes, accompanied by an employee, we were already in the "silence room", as requested. Suitcases dragged immediately, surprised - did not expect a tip! Like this? Can not be? Always and everywhere, a porter tramples at the door of the room, hinting at a "van dollar" or more : ) Family room, two-room, on the second floor, with a large balcony. The room is quite small, but what a home it is! : ) Everything is brand new, sparkling clean, it works flawlessly. Everything is compact and convenient.

It was lunch time, there was no food on the plane and our belly made itself felt. Let's go look for a restaurant.

How beautiful everything is, everything is in colors, the paths are washed, everything is clean.

Very close to our temporary habitat is a swimming pool with a bar. We are not there. We walk past the playground, more like a world of attractions. By the way, for kids in the hotel, both service and attention have been increased. From food to free diapers. But we don't need either)))

Move on, another pool, also with a bar.

Heat. . . The husband, at the sight of beer, in a sweaty bottle with assorted nuts, began to get nervous. But the thought of the prescribed 100 grams of vodka drove me to a full meal. You will be given a mask upon entering the restaurant. The tables are separated by zones, for each family separately. Devices are packed in paper bags, wet and paper wipes. The waiters are unobtrusively, clearly and harmoniously doing their job. Everything is very clean.

Food. . . it's time to talk about food. . . who invented it? Why so many and so tasty? Products are all behind glass. Who does not know English, just points his finger and also shows the amount on his fingers) Seafood. . .

. . . it's no secret - everyone's favorite, every day. Desserts and fruits are my weakness! Everything is fresh. Where does the unused go? This question has always tormented me : ))) Any kind of alcohol your heart desires, well-known brands. Orange fresh, drinks in jars and bottles - no draft type "Jupi"))) Coffee and tea are excellent. You come to have a bite, just tried a little bit, in the end (sorry) overeat! (((

And then you swim, swim, swim to burn off those extra calories. And I also want to lie on the beach, read.

The beach is clean, large, sanitizers, sunbeds, showers and all common areas are carefully treated everywhere. There are signs on the umbrellas with a QR code for ordering from the bar whatever your heart desires. Well, this is too much, is it really difficult to raise your butt and walk to the bar, the waiters scurry all day between the sunbeds to satisfy everyone. No tips, can you imagine? There is a 16+ zone on the beach. I want to note that the guests at the hotel are mostly Turkish families with small children. There are few tourists from Ukraine and very few from Russia. There are sooooo many children, but my bouts of mesanthropy do not apply to them. Of the tourists, there are "cadres" who are not too lazy to come to the beach at 7 in the morning, take a place to get out by 12. Although there was enough space for everyone. I came to the beach early in the morning to enjoy the quiet rustle of the waves of the sea with my favorite book.

It's a pity you can't see the dawn, the sun was waking up somewhere far beyond the mountains.

And what air! And the climate is great! They did not lose, the heat is not felt, after dinner there is always a light breeze. And sea, refreshingly affectionate. Every morning a cat came, an impudent striped muzzle : )))

Sit by the water tap and wait for someone to turn it on. Greedily localized water.

Sushnyak, apparently, from the poor, from their "all inclusive"))))

Offered by a tour guide. By sea with swimming and lunch, several different options. Mine refused outright. And how I wanted to be in Pamukkale... after listening to all the pros and cons, I realized that there were more against it. "For" only mine - "I want to see. " "Cons" - leaving the hotel at 5 am, driving more than 5 hours one way, and there are only 2-3 hours in the heat. All my "want" died the death of the brave)))

The first time we enjoyed the rest only in the hotel. Apart from one shopping trip to Bodrum.

As I said, Torba is a small village in the mountains. The village, to put it simply, is close to 2 shops and several dusty bazaar shops. What about gifts for family members? So we decided to go to Bodrum. We left the hotel, every 10-15 minutes a minibus rides, only 4 lira per person.

Why pay $10 for a taxi? A trip with the Turkish people, on a comfortable minibus, these are not our minibuses for you! : ))) 15-20 minutes and we are in the center city. Everyone is wearing masks, even on the street.

We walked to the embankment, there are few tourists. In season and without quarantine, I think one could get lost in the crowd here. There are many shops, cafes and restaurants.

What to choose for yours? I prefer to bring something edible than an unnecessary trinket dust collector. We stopped at buying Turkish delight of different tastes and real Turkish tea. And nothing more is needed.

We walked and wandered. . . well, I don't like shopping on vacation, it's a pity to waste time. And there is nothing more to do here. We saw the fortress. . .

. . . but the heat. . . my men started grumbling, trying to persuade me not to climb those walls. . . I succeeded, because of the heat I didn't climb.

Glanced from afar. Pleasure yachts and sailboats adorn each other on the pier.

We need a group to sail through the bays, see Bodrum in all its glory from the sea. Ehhh. . . how can you be on vacation without excursions?

I'm going to the hotel. . .

. . . I'll eat a pie from sadness; )))

This is how we rested and had fun: hotel, beach, sea.

Evening walks around the hotel, fortunately, the territory is large and beautiful.

Oh yes, we also had fun at the evening shows. It's not just a show, it's a super performance, with great scenery and special effects. Luxurious costumes emphasized the talents of actors and acrobats. The son was delighted with both the disc jockeys and the frenzied music that rumbled at all points of our body. Beams of light and lasers seemed to pierce the sky. This is something!

Yes, even with a glass of delicious...

. . . mojito, and my husband with beer, life seemed more fun)))

I read 2 books, and embroidered a towel, got plenty of swimming, my son and husband slept off and fell off. Get strong and positive! Put our thoughts in order! )

And again into battle, we go to work, my son goes to study. Until the next vacation, until the next trip. . . Good luck to everyone! )
