We rested at the hotel in early June 2015. Initially, we chose the hotel based on the cost and the services included in it - Yasmin seemed suitable in all respects, and, in addition, the photos of the hotel and its location made a positive impression.
Upon arrival, they never regretted their choice. We lived in a bungalow (myndos room), and in one of the highest and farthest from the reception - we were completely delighted: a gorgeous view of the bay, islands, the village of Turgutreis and Kos visible on the horizon; magical silence in the morning (sometimes it was hard to wake up : )) and the sun in the afternoon (there was no heat in the room in the morning, when you get up a little stunned). Yes, the rooms are simple and a little "tired", but spacious, functionally planned and comfortable. Regarding their remoteness and the need to climb up, there was always the opportunity to use minicars that transported vacationers from the reception to their bungalows at any time.
Cleaning is daily, of excellent quality, regardless of the presence / absence of tips (not left every day), linen and towels are new, snow-white.

The same cleanliness reigns throughout the hotel, a lot of flowers and flowering shrubs, a lot of greenery. The territory is constantly cleaned, watered, the paths are washed several times a day.
The beach is large, there is a sandy part (with awnings and umbrellas) and there are platforms with large umbrellas. During our stay, there were enough sunbeds for everyone (although some sunbeds stand in the open sun, and not under a canopy), but there were also lovers of "frying" in the sun. : ) The beach is also clean, garbage is removed daily, once during our stay even leveled the sand on the beach.
The sea is clean and transparent, there are a lot of fish near the pier - vacationers feed them, therefore, swimming there, you feel like in an aquarium. : )) The water at the beginning of our stay was cool, but then it warmed up and was comfortable enough for swimming. The only small minus is that sometimes it is windy, which makes it not comfortable enough to be on the beach and the water “stratifies” a little - a warm layer on top, and very cold deeper, but, as I understand it, this is due to the location of the hotel.
There are 2 large pools, but we never used them, as the sea was enough. There were more than enough sun loungers by the pools. Near one of the pools, various entertainment events are held during the day, aqua aerobics, water polo, darts, dancing, etc. I think everyone will find entertainment to their liking. We, due to the constant stay on the beach, were fond of beach volleyball.
Evening entertainment shows are held daily in the amphitheater or in the Disco Bar (White Party), shows are presented by various invited groups (during our stay there was a Mongolian circus, a dance group with Latin American dances, Turkish night, etc. ). In addition, daily in the Disco Bar from 23.00 to 01.00 there is a disco or live music, and those who wish can take a shuttle from the hotel to discos in Bodrum or around the peninsula.

In addition to the Disco Bar, there is a pool bar, which was open until 23.00 (soft and strong drinks, cocktails, wine, beer, coffee, tea, nuts) and a lobby bar (the same services, worked around the clock). According to the drink list, the set of cocktails in these two bars is different, but if you ask, they will make it in addition to the cocktail list. days - french fries, spaghetti, doner, hamburgers, vegetables, fruits, ice cream, and from 17.00 to 18.00 - coffee and pastries) and the Sultan restaurant, which made pizza and gozleme during the day. Everything is within 1-2 minutes walk. In addition, there were large refrigerators with bottled water on the beach (for the first time, by the way, I saw such a necessary option in beach hotels)!
The main restaurant is perhaps the only food outlet that we had complaints about. Firstly, if you come to dinner not at opening, but, for example, at 8 o’clock, then you won’t get some delicacies (such as strawberries or red fish), but you definitely won’t leave hungry - the choice of both snacks and main dishes, as well as desserts are quite large and varied. Secondly, the work of the waiters was somewhat annoying, who did not always clean the tables in a timely manner and paid attention to customers somehow very selectively: if you are a couple of young girls or a Turkish family, then one, or even 2-3 waiters will wander around you at throughout the meal. Otherwise, do not count on increased attention from them and clean the table, or go for wine, or find the appliances yourself. ; )) I was especially impressed by the case when someone at the next table (a Turkish family) asked one of the waiters for a salt shaker, to which he, instead of going and taking it at the common counter, took it from our table (like, we can do without salt). This, of course, is a trifle, but it characterizes the general system of organizing the work of waiters in the main restaurant. ; )
I highly recommend visiting a la cart restaurants - in all three "Sultan" (Turkish cuisine), "Oceania" (seafood) and "Pearl" (Italian cuisine) excellent service, delicious dishes, pleasant atmosphere. In addition, it is very convenient to book a la cart restaurants - through a separate special computer in the lobby at any time convenient for you (no need to look for anyone from the employees, try to explain to them if you do not know the language, etc. ).
Yes, and one more small nuance is the lack of seats in the lobby bar in the evening. Indeed, after dinner, most vacationers go there and settle down thoroughly and for a long time. : ) Especially since the Wi-Fi really worked best in the lobby. Therefore, if someone is late at dinner, then he will not always find a place in the lobby bar. In my opinion, the management of the hotel did not hurt to add 12-15 tables in the open area between the lobby and the upper pool to solve this problem. Moreover, when I looked at earlier photos of the hotel, there were tables in this area. : ))

A few words about the possibility of getting out of the hotel. You can go to Turgutreis (the nearest village, 5 kilometers from the hotel) and Bodrum by shuttle, which is offered in the lobby near the reception. True, its cost at the beginning of our stay was 5 and 10 euros, respectively, for the way there and back, and then became 3 and 5 euros. However, the use of the shuttle is associated with specific departure and arrival times, which sometimes limits your movement. Therefore, you can safely get there with the help of dolmush (local minibuses) - they stop 150 meters from the hotel on the main road, run every 20-30 minutes, are air-conditioned, and cost significantly less: to Turgutreis - 3-3.5 lira (from 1 euro), to Bodrum (with a change in Turgut) - something around 7-8 liras (ie less than 3 euros), it seems (all prices are one way). And they go almost around the clock. So you can choose.
In general, I will say this - we were very pleased with the rest. The location, nature and sea are just amazing, the staff is quite friendly and helpful, I received all the services that I could need from a beach hotel (and there were also those that I simply did not have time / did not want to use - indoor pool, sauna, hammam, gym, water sports, tennis courts, football, discos, entertainment animators during the day). And all this for a reasonable price. Therefore, I can safely recommend Yasmin Bodrum Resort for a pleasant beach holiday! : ))
I will be happy to answer all questions!
